In this latest volume of her prescient Wave series, Laura Knight-Jadczyk reveals the mechanics of evil, how it creeps into our lives, and what we need to be aware of in order to avoid it.

The case studies of John Nash, the schizoidal creator of Game Theory, and Ira Einhorn, the New Age psychopath who murdered his girlfriend, are the window through which Knight-Jadczyk unravels the intricate web of deception, aims, and counter-aims of the Powers That Be.

Almost Human is essential reading for anyone wondering why our world is becoming increasingly controlled and our freedoms more restricted.

I saw it a couple of days ago on the sott page "blinking" and have been very, very impressed by the cover!
Great props for the designer.

And it sounds like book seven is covering new topics, that means is a new book, with information not covered in the online series? Or maybe goes into more and specific detail, because the "negative-feedback" system got mentioned in the online series…

So book 7 can be read as a 'stand alone' book?

I only have the first two Wave books, so far, but went ahead and ordered the latest one.

Hi Gimpy, this is stated in the afterword of "wave" book 5 for example:

afterword said:
As some readers may know, "the wave" and "adventures" seires were originally published online[…]. Thus, we have decided to publish the series in multiple volumes. The originally published Wave material is concluded in volumes one, two, three, four, and eight. Books five, six, and seven include material originally published as "the adventures series"[…]
[…]
Note: With exception of books five and six, the wave books can be read in any order.

fwiw and there I found also the answer I have been asking earlier in this topic. ;)

It should be added that new material has been included in all of the Wave books - in some, more than others.

Almost Human contains the final chapters originally published online as the Adventures Series. However, new material has been added, and the whole thing has been newly edited. Whereas the book follows the material in books 5 and 6 (which followed more of an autobiographic narrative, and do provide context for the research in this book), Almost Human can be read as a stand-alone volume. It contains Laura's original thoughts on psychopathy and its relation to hyperdimensional reality, many of which concepts were eventually re-discovered in Ponerology. So, I don't see a problem with reading the book before the previous volumes, but I do recommend reading them all eventually.

Oh, with every reading, I find new material all the time. :-[

Thanks guys for the assist....I'm having a bad case of mallet-head today.

Went to order it from QFG publishing and at the last step to order when the prompt is supposed to go to worldpay I get the error "Internet explorer cannot display this webpage".

Yeah, wouldn't you know it: both our hosting company and RBS WorldPay are having problems today!

That said, many orders have gone through just fine. I'd say to give it another whirl tomorrow as everything should be straightened out by then.

Thank you Laura for this crucial work. Your exposition of game theory and its correlation to psychopathy- the importance of which cannot be overstated- is truly eyeopening.
