American Blackout 2013 National Geographic Film: Prepping the masses for...what?

National Geographic are really at the bottom of the garbage. This is worst then a zombie movie.

Well, I think you are right in that. After all it is likely a propaganda movie from a corporate channel and one may find some good zombie movie instead (don't ask me - I don't know one:).

They prove they are not serious at all.

Disagree. They are very serious, although in a different way. They have an agenda and it would be interesting to see behind the scenes why it came out now, with GridEx II around the corner.

They did the same game with H1N1, made a sort of false documentary telling people that almost everyone in this planet would die from the virus. I have a friend in Canada who believed them and she was extremely scare. She was really, really stressed.

I have not seen that one. But everyone of us has a friend who gets stressed by watching TV. And I am quiet sure you protect yourself much better then your friend who might be more vulnerable. Her protection is her responsibility nonetheless and she should know NG is a broadcaster owned by psychopaths who don't have an interest in real education and well-being of the viewers. If she doesn't, you might discuss it with her. I see no point in getting angry at this NG issue.

Have likewise been thinking about this scheduled November 13th-14th GridEx II drill for some time (since I read the first posting about this grid shutdown drill on the forum in August or September) and speculating on how it might be a set-up for another major false flag operation. [...]

Over on Jim Willie's home site, the original article is titled "Huge Cracks in US Financial Fortress." [_http://news.goldseek.com/GoldenJackass/1383336180.php]

First, unless there's some really major - as in 9/11 false flag attack Armageddon kickoff mass murder - skullduggery planned for this US power grids stress testing exercise, it's going proceed calmly with no disruption to the actual power grids. Exercises like these are just make believe, and no one has their hands on the actual electrical power infrastructure control consoles, but instead they test their own communications and their bureaucratic coordination such as it might really work (or fail to work) in an actual emergency. It's basically top officials and high level management people trying to figure out if they can communicate well in an emergency situation, plus role-playing on who manages what.

It will occur unnoticed by the general population, I predict, and who knows, it might actually do some good and expose gaps in planning, communications and coordination in catastrophic grid scenarios.

The US and Canada - and Europe too, for that matter - are under-prepared for a major solar storm that could take down major electrical grid interconnects (primarily massive transformers that take a year or more to replace), so the fact that the people responsible are studying the exposure is great.

As for the Jim Willie screed reproduced in the quoted post, it's just a classic gold bug's fever dream.

But you probably missed that discussed in this thread are those possibilities of hidden agendas and other factors. I guess all here wish for this exercise having gone unnoticed by general public, unlike e.g. in the case of 7/7 London bombings. And surely, in a healthy society with responsible leaders, the only aim of such an exercise would be an improvement of the sector's response and communication.

Do you mean all is fine and dandy?;) :knitting:

I watched the video yesterday. I found it to be very sensationalistic and purposely designed to push people's emotional buttons. It is, however, a good reminder to be prepared for any type of emergency situation.

As far as there being a false flag that coincides with this drill we can only wait and see. There seems to be a lot of pressure building up all over the world and especially the US.

You are right, they are very serious, I agree. Propaganda is always a very serious issue. I did not mean in that sense, but serious in the sense of doing something valuable, as at their beginning. Something that I can learn from them, something educative. But maybe they have always been like they are now and I was not aware of it.

My friend, this is true, is an innocent person, a scared person also. She stopped to communicate with me in fact because she was afraid of being watched by the Canadian Government because of what I put in FB. She is very afraid of seeing the truth. So I did not insist, let her go off my life.

edit: correction of some English words...

I would say you did your best. We can only be helping each other when we are able to ask or listen to asking. All else is everyone's choice, I think.

But I am getting off the topic here already. Glad there was no nasty stuff connected to GridEx II (at least none I would know about so far).
