I was checking the news about hurricane Nicole in Florida, when this video popped up.
12 high rise buildings have been declared unsafe, and evacuations are mandatory. They are being called structurally unsafe.
Here's news footage of the Florida coastal erosion. Apparently, the erosion has been ongoing, and punctuated by hurricanes Ian and now Nicole.
I'm thinking the high rises are held to tougher codes since they are on the beach... No seawall: unsafe. And this is what is happening, the seawalls are failing.
