I scored 24/50 and I'm sure I would have scored much higher years ago as well. I think this test explores a useful idea, whether we score high or not. 'Introversion' can be a way to escape the world and get lost in early coping mechanisms, feelings of being exceptionally special, etc. Unfortunately, we're not taught how to deal with a sick world and instead of expressing overt damaging behavior we often adapt to covert ways that go unnoticed to us (but are usually more apparent to others and damage relationships just the same).

I agree the questions were pretty black and white, but I answered them weighting to the likelihood that I've not improved as much as I'd like to think. Years ago it would have been off the scale, but I would have been completely unaware of it.

The questions did seem fairly black or white and I was tempted to pick neutral answers because some things seem to be situational.
At any rate, I thought it was very informational and provides much to think about in terms of how I interact with people and how I might be able to change.

Oh wow. i got 30/50. i have been suspecting this for awhile now. Still meaning to reaad the recommended books on the subject. This is disturbing to me but now i can plainly see that my suspicions have been correct. The hard part is letting myselfgo to observe my behaviors. The more i know about myself thw more embarrassed i am with around others. I guess that is narccisistic as well.

It's better to know that you're a narcissist then to go around believing you're not.

Me too. Some months ago my score would have been different, more narcissistic, centered in just "my" disgraceful problems. Problems are there, there are always there, a life without problems is not a life. But they are not anymore an obsession, my obsession. They are something natural and as so I look at them with a sort of wisdom. Wow. this is good news for me, I am very happy not to be a covert narcissistic! :)
