Astaxanthin cures cancer, chronic inflammation and many other things?

This guy is biochemist who claims he cured terminal severe cancer in 30 days.
His explanation is pretty compelling:

I do have many questions. He is saying there are some animals that never get cancer - like elephants, sharks and mole rats. I heard about mole rats and sharks, not elephants anf need to verify this. He does not explain how these widely different species get access ti astaxanthin.

I tried taking astaxanthin while back and it gave me bad diarrhoea so I backed off.
His form is glycinated and is better delivered which should solve this.
He recommends taking High Sensitivity CRP test to establish right dose.

And here are all the publications about astaxanthin role in cancer

And here is another interview

Obviously these days everyone who claims they have solution for a problem is trying to sell you something so that is always a reason to be suspicious.
Maybe I am too jaded but this guy seems to have ties with PTB and military so that is a slight red flag.

I found this regarding elephants:

Elephants rarely get cancer, with cancer mortality rates estimated at less than 5%, compared to up to 25% in humans.
This remarkable resistance is primarily attributed to evolutionary genetic adaptations, specifically the possession of 20 copies of the TP53 gene (a tumor suppressor), whereas humans have only one.

Key Reasons for Elephant Cancer Resistance:

  • TP53 "Guardian of the Genome": Elephants have 20 copies of this gene, allowing them to produce more p53 protein, which detects DNA damage and repairs it or kills the cell.
  • "Zombie" Gene (LIF6): When activated by p53, a unique gene called LIF6 creates proteins that destroy damaged cells before they can become cancerous.
  • Cell Self-Destruction: Elephant cells are highly sensitive to DNA damage and prefer to self-destruct (apoptosis) rather than risk repairing the mutation and turning cancerous.

Regarding Astaxanthin:
While some limited, specialized research (e.g., in podcasts) has suggested that certain antioxidants like astaxanthin might be found in animals with low cancer rates, the primary, widely accepted scientific consensus, published in journals like JAMA and Cell Reports, links the elephant's cancer resistance specifically to their unique genetics and TP53 gene copies.

In summary, elephants are not immune to cancer, but their evolution has provided them with a highly robust, multi-layered genetic defense system that makes them uniquely resistant, rather than relying on a specific dietary supplement like astaxanthin.

Sharks and Cancer

The misconception that sharks are immune to cancer was popularized by the 1992 book Sharks Don't Get Cancer. However, this is scientifically untrue: both benign and malignant tumors have been documented in more than 40 species of sharks and their relatives.

The myth has led to a dangerous alternative medicine trend where people consume shark cartilage supplements, based on the flawed logic that if sharks don't get cancer, consuming part of a shark will protect humans.

Mole rats

Naked mole rats possess extreme, near-total cancer resistance, living up to 30+ years without developing the disease due to unique biological mechanisms
. They produce high-molecular-weight hyaluronan (HMW-HA), a "super sugar" that prevents cell overcrowding and tumor formation. They also exhibit, at minimum, a two-tier mechanism to halt premature cell growth, effectively stopping tumor progression at early stages.

Key reasons for this resistance include:

  • High-Molecular-Weight Hyaluronan (HMW-HA): University of Rochester found that this substance, found in their tissues, is five times larger than in other mammals, acting as a "cage" that prevents cancer cells from proliferating.
  • Cellular "Contact Inhibition": Science | AAAS explains that their cells are highly sensitive to contact, stopping division when they become too crowded (early contact inhibition).
  • Efficient DNA Repair: PubMed Central (PMC) indicates that their bodies have superior DNA repair mechanisms, which reduces the accumulation of mutations over their long lives.

So we can at least debunk his claim that these animals are "cancer resistant" due to astaxanthin .

Thanks a TON for the post, I started taking some recently and my seemingly intractable and debilitating fatigue is on its way to disappearing!

Ideally taking down the inflammation - which I think is what is happening - will take some allostatic load off the body, and give some time for the systems that were the cause of the inflammation to rest and repair.

Once my current bottle is done, I will take a break for a while and see if I've reached a new plateau. Here's hoping!

Are you taking this specific product called Valasta?

You can find the lab that can test High Sensitivity CRP and keep going with velasta until it goes down to less than 3mg .

Also @iamthatis it may be a good idea to take Zeolite regularly.
Have a look at this video.
I am slightly freaked out since i had at least a dozen PCR tests during scamdemic and also had several dental procedures in the last few years with local anaesthetic.
I have about a kilo of Serbian Zeolite which is supposed to be best in the world so I am going to take it regularly for a while.

I'm not taking Valasta, it is too expensive. I found a brand called Regenurex in the local health food store - $45 CAD for 60 softgels, instead of $200 USD for 90. The cheapest option seems to the Bulk Supplements bottle, which is $45 CAD for 180 softgels.

My last CRP test was in 2022, and it was within the normal range. My latest testing did not cover CRP, so I'm going just based on how I feel as a subjective experiment without objective markers for now. So far so good.

I'm also not taking the 1mg/kg dose (IIRC) mentioned in the first video. I decided to start small, 12 or 24mg per day, and that seems to be enough for now. I may try higher doses after the first bottle is finished and I have some time to reassess how I feel.

Thanks for the vid on zeolite, I will look into that as well. For latent spike protein I've taken regular ivermectin and Vit D, Lipo C, as my main prophylactic, as well as bromelain and natto now that I'm going out into society more.

My partner started taking it for cancer, recommendation is that it should be sourced from haematococcus pluvialis microalgae. Bulk Supplements doesn’t say what it's sourced from on the package, that I could see. Maybe thats why its cheaper?

I looked at the Valasta also. Way too pricey. 🫤

Edit: Oh wait, I asked AI what the Bulk Supplements product is sourced from, and it said the microalgae. Would be nice if they put it somewhere visible on the package. 😡

I might be wrong but I think Valasta is the only Glucosidic form available. Hence the higher price. I recently prescribed it for a dog with advanced oral cancer as a hail Mary - its a very long shot since it is huge and very advanced but owner wants to try so it will be interesting to see.

The second video is not about spike but self assembling nano particles of graphene oxide that cause “Havana syndrome” and it seems they are finding them even in people who live in remote areas and were not exposed to any medical interventions. They say PcR swabs were coated with biogel and also its in local anesthetic. If I am not mistaken C’s confirmed about dental anaesthetic but they said its not wide spread.
In any case doesn’t hurt to gulp some Zeolite regularly since it removes mercury, arsenic and other heavy metals. I do feel great on the days I drink it.

Most people on regular CRP test wont have elevated values unless they have serious ongoing infection / inflammation. it says nothing about Cardiovascular inflammation.
It needs to HS CRP - high sensitivity. And it should not be higher than 3mg in healthy people.

This video is pretty informative minus very annoying presenter, what to look for when sourcing out Asthaxantine….

I think if one has cancer and this thing really works its not expensive at all.

i just received Valasta pump with Asta in olive oil. Luckily it breezed through the customs so I didnt have to pay additional fees that normally apply to stuff from USA.

These are the guidelines:

I would recommend the olive oil pump bottle; we have 2 sizes: a 50ml and 100ml. You will get a bag of empty vegan capsules with every order for free, you can fill capsules (each capsule holds 3-4 pumps) and take as a pill as you fill them or simply pump ValAsta on a spoonful of any food and follow it with a meal.

Take ValAsta with a meal consisting of a healthy fat for the best absorption. Healthy fats examples: nuts, peanut butter, coconut oil, avocado, fish, cheese etc.
I would recommend 8 pumps per day as a higher serving due to health issues.
Start with - 1 pump in the am after breakfast (monitor for any rare reactions as a precaution if you have never taken astaxanthin before) and then
build up to your correct serving amount: the next morning start with WEEK 1.
Week 1 – take 4 pumps (2 after breakfast and 2 after lunch)
Week 2 – take 8 pumps (4 after breakfast and 4 after lunch)
Week 3 - Can take all pumps at 1 time – either after breakfast or after lunch – whichever is the larger meal
**We recommend taking ValAsta immediately after eating breakfast or lunch. This will allow full absorption of ValAsta in the small intestine.
Increase your water intake (1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day (no additives) – If your health allows additional water intake only – follow your physicians guidelines). Water is necessary to remove mucus and inflammation from the colon.
The 100ml bottle will last 2x as long and has a $44.00 savings incorporated into the price.
*Free empty capsules are shipped with each size bottle. * If you choose to take ValAsta as a capsule - we recommend filling up the capsules as you take them and NOT prefilling them at this time

Many of your questions can be answered in the following information.

HOW TO TAKE
  • Take ValAsta in 2 divided servings with meals and before 3pm (ValAsta supplies cellular energy and may interrupt sleep if taken late in the day or at night). Only need to divide it up for the first 1-2 weeks – then you can take it ALL at 1 meal if this is more convenient.
  • Each capsule will hold 3-4 pumps – A video on how to fill the capsules is available at:
If you choose not to fill up the capsules – you can simply pump it directly on a spoonful of food – if you are pumping from the bottle daily you can leave the cap off to avoid any dripping .
  • We do not recommend pumping ValAsta on hot foods as this may cause a loss of potency of the product.

WE RECOMMEND

  • Each pump of the liquid is 13.5 mg. Take half of your body weight and divide by 13.5. That will be the number of pumps to take for prevention/maintenance clients – if you have a disease process – we would add 50% more pumps.
  • Each chocolate square is 24 mg. Take half of your body weight and divide by 24. That is your number of daily squares to take. If you have a disease process add 50% additional chocolate squares.
  • With cancer we recommend increasing the daily serving by 50% more pumps (this is already calculated for you).
  • For example: 200 lbs. person would take 150 mg a day when/if remission occurs then reduce to 100mg. Divide the mg by 13.5 (for the oil) = number of pumps per day.
Or divide the mg by 24 (for the chocolate squares) = number of chocolate squares needed daily.
  • With arthritis we recommend adjusting serving amounts based on pain level. If pain is gone, try reducing the amount by one serving (1-2 pumps) and if the pain returns increase the amount by one serving (1-2 pumps).
  • We recommend your medical doctors be informed of all supplements taken.
  • If you have Diabetes or High Blood Pressure – keep a log of your numbers for your doctor for medication adjustments (usually within 2-8 weeks of starting on ValAsta).
  • If you take a blood thinner or cholesterol medication – keep your lab appointments as advised by your doctor – medication adjustments may be necessary over a period of 3-4 mos. after starting ValAsta.

IT'S NORMAL - DON'T PANIC
  • A pink/red color stool is normal because astaxanthin is naturally red
  • You may have loose/soft stools while your body is adjusting.

PRODUCT
  • Liquid ValAsta is available in two sizes:
  • 50ml bottle contains approximately 220 pumps: approx. 80 empty (tapioca) gel capsules are provided.
  • 100Ml bottle contains approximately 420 pumps: approx.160 empty (tapioca) gel capsules are provided.
  • Each empty capsule will hold 3-4 pumps.
  • You may order additional capsules on the website (www.valasta.net) if needed.
  • ValAsta can also be used by putting it on a piece of bread, a spoonful of peanut butter, apple sauce, or something absorbable.
  • Chocolate : protect from heat. Do not put chocolate in coffee or tea and avoid temperatures over 100 degrees. It is advisable to store chocolate it in the refrigerator especially during summer months. This is real Ghiradelli chocolate with sugar and carbs – we added ValAsta to it.
  • Oil pump bottle : If you are pumping from the bottle daily – keep at room temp (it will pump better) and leave cap off to avoid dripping.
  • Both forms of ValAsta (chocolate and oil) have the same potency and effectiveness.

SHIPPING in the US
  • Via USPS and generally takes 2-3 days via priority mail.
  • UPS and overnight shipping are also available.

Good find.
I wish they would do these kind of analysis for all the supplements.
I always believed that good quality has to come the with appropriate price tag.

Those top brands he mentions are probably way cheaper than Velasta however I do think Valasta is the most superior Astaxanthin product out there because the dude behind it is very transparent and detailed about his production process. And it also seems it is his life mission since he got cured.
