Aya, that is just wonderful news!! I know it's required a lot of work and patience to get through the long process but you stuck with it and you've done it! Congratulations! :clap: :clap:

The turn of events is giving me a little bit of a problem here...
My trip is coming up in the next week but immigration officer advised me not to travel until I received the card, which will be sent within 4-6 weeks so I will not be getting it in time. Fabric and I have done some research on it and I can say that I should be fine for 85% chance, but still there is a 15% chance I can get into a trouble when I come back to Canada from a trip.

In the worse case scenario, the airline stuff is going to deny me on board and I will be stuck in the Munich airport on the way back. If that happens, I have to spend all my energy to find a way back home, but I have my backup plan ready so I just have to try and act upon it when that happens.

Another scenario is immigration staff is going take me into the little room and interrogate me before letting me into Canada. But I am already a resident, so they cannot arrest me and it should not happen. I am not too worried about it because I have the proof and Fabric is going to be with me for whole time.

I am not going to give up this trip so easily because I will be visiting somewhere very special where I have wished for a very long time. I am just keeping my fingers crossed. I will make it happen!

When I traveled back home once, on my return, the airlines people in Amsterdam wouldn't let me go on the plane because I didn't have a return ticket out of Canada. We waited and waited, until they spoke with their managers or whoever on the phone, and finally, they let us in. The entire flight waited for us. Then, we arrive at Calgary airport, go through security, and nobody even asks me a single thing. Go figure!

I am very glad you decided to take the trip. I don't think anything will happen, but just to be sure, take with you whatever papers you have from the immigration, and when you arrive and you stand in line to go through security on your way back, choose the line of the nicest looking employee. And fingers crossed! :boat:
