When I traveled back home once, on my return, the airlines people in Amsterdam wouldn't let me go on the plane because I didn't have a return ticket out of Canada. We waited and waited, until they spoke with their managers or whoever on the phone, and finally, they let us in. The entire flight waited for us. Then, we arrive at Calgary airport, go through security, and nobody even asks me a single thing. Go figure!

I am very glad you decided to take the trip. I don't think anything will happen, but just to be sure, take with you whatever papers you have from the immigration, and when you arrive and you stand in line to go through security on your way back, choose the line of the nicest looking employee. And fingers crossed!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Alana. I am well aware of how airline people are strict about things. I have my documents ready so now I think it is a matter of luck.
