I did hear a teacher talking, and she said that some kids will change their pronouns every day, or quite regularly, and it is up to the teacher to address them with their pronouns. And of course the teacher can get in lots of trouble if they are not using the proper pronouns. She said that was one of the reasons she left teaching.
My Aunt just posted this one:
