Some interesting insights concerning Joe and Michelle and the presidency:

In a 2024 presidential race with many imponderables, all we can know for sure is that Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee. That, at least, is what many Republicans actually believe or state publicly, from the very top of the party to the people in the very last row of the latest Trump rally.

Even if Democrats were to decide Biden is unsuitable, there’s no easy way to leverage an incumbent president out of office, especially at this stage of the race.

As for Michelle Obama, she is highly popular among Democrats, a major cultural figure and a talented communicator. Outside the question of whether she’d want to do it (no, no and no), she has never run for anything, and it’s quite possible that she’s not actually a skilled political candidate.

It’d certainly be interesting if Joe Biden were about to be swapped out for Michelle Obama in a premeditated plan to wrongfoot Republicans and coast to victory. In reality, Democrats, figuratively and literally, are stumbling ahead with the guy they’ve got.

Here is todays update on the Poplar Report which I watch daily. Over the past weeks there have been reports of paper money being taken out of circulation and problems with banks in general. Chase bank has been a problem especially, refusing to cash checks for paper $, in this report allowing fraudulent purchases of $1000's on credit cards without intervention.

A bank teller says all old paper money is being saved for circulation instead of exchanging it for new which has always been the practice for years.

A 911 dispatcher in Wisconsin wrote in to say a monitor for the warning system for tornadoes has been changed by FEMA. A siren for weather emergencies is now a siren for attacks!

Coal plants being shut down and trains not shipping coal. Read that the Biden people have started shipping coal to Europe so they're lining their pockets with that apparently.

More egg shortages and the prices going up. More people showing up at food pantries and their supplies going down. Food stamps cut from $1500 monthly for a family of 6 down to $300.

This is a fairly common-sense perspective of the current situation on the ground in the US.

Seeing this, suddenly I'm struck by how DEEPLY OBSESSIVE these people are with keeping the Ukraine thing going. It looks like panic that it could be stopped. We've heard all the things that are going on in Ukraine but is there more to it? We haven't heard the whole story yet is my feeling.

It is a mixed up mess as you say and becomes even more mixed up as time goes on. This is appropriate, "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive"

If the Biden administration was proven to be illegitimate because of a stolen election then anything he's done, EO's etc. would be null and void. Another factor that could dismiss this latest stipulation in the Ukraine funding bill you mention (if passed) is, do the representatives in the Senate have a valid Oath of Office? If not their passing of the bill is also null and void.

All this could happen IF law and order is restored.

Here is one video where Attorney Todd Callender explains that his team found the top reps in the Biden administration haven't a legitimate oath of office. The oath is missing or defective so they are impersonating government officials including the VP. Apparently, this has been going on for many years.

According to the report, as the immigration crisis began to slowly build, nobody in the administration wanted to "own" the hot potato issue (heaven forbid Border Czar Kamala Harris get off her knees and imagine what could be, unburdened by her sheer incompetence).

- VP Harris’ team made it clear her responsibilities “began and ended” w/ root causes in just the 3 Northern Triangle counties & Mexico, w/ a former Biden admin official saying Harris has been “at best, ineffective”.
- Mayorkas disagreed with Biden’s 100 day halt on deportations.
- Homeland Security adviser Liz Sherwood-Randall displayed inexperience, asked for a memo explaining the difference between refugees & asylum seekers.
- Biden admin has listened to “vocal immigration advocates outside the administration”.
- “The White House generally didn't want to talk publicly about immigration or the border for much of Biden's first three years, feeling it would draw attention to a political vulnerability.”
- “Publicly, the White House also initially downplayed jumps in illegal border crossings as normal "ebbs and flows" — even as some internally pushed to acknowledge that the problem was significant.”
The article highlights a combination of infighting, incompetence, and indifference regarding the administration’s handling of the border over the last 3 years.

In addition to calling Becerra a "bitch ass," the clearly more competent (which isn't saying much) Susan Rice and Kamala Harris have apparently been arch rivals ever since Rice was passed over for VP. Via Axios:

• The tension between Rice and Harris had origins in the summer of 2020, when both were being vetted for vice president. Rice later told people she thought Harris and her team were partly responsible for opposition research that resulted in negative coverage of Rice.
• Rice appeared to others to take pride in being more informed on the border than Harris.
• Some Harris aides found Rice to be disrespectful toward the vice president and dismissively referred to the former UN ambassador as just a "staffer."

Bottom line, America is being led by a man who's too senile to prosecute, and whose administration is completely dysfunctional.
