Blast it or paint it: Deadly asteroid bounds towards Earth out of the blue

I didn't understad correctly the 'imact probability'

= The chance of the asteroid hitting earth.

Thanks Richard.
The 0,0012% of impact probability doesn't mean much for me.
The 28000km seems too close for me.
I can't find how they calculate it.

I totally agry.

I don't know how the Earth gravity will influence this asteroid. Maybe the Earth gravity could change the orbit of the asteroid. I don't know if there is a probability that the asteroid could hit the moon and if so what would be the consequences of it.

There is also the possibility of not hitting but evenly affecting in some way (maybe electrical, gravitational?) the earth by proximity.

If rotation of earth is slowing down the gravity is also lessening if I understood correctly... and somewhere out there (in direction of Sirius) is Sol's little brother approaching so maybe remaining time for possible impact will not be as calculated

We had a chat with the Cs tonight - will get it published in the next couple of days. They said this asteroid will NOT hit, but there are "other things" that certainly will. Interesting session, so ya'll hang on.

Great news ... I am looking forward for some fresh update from C's ... with lots of "old" transcripts left to catch up... :-[

Thanks a LOT Laura!

Very cool. Will be looking forward to what was said! Thank you for continuing the conversation with the C's, and also for sharing that info with us.

Oh boy... here we go again down the rabbit hole!

Yeah, same here! Really looking forward to the new session transcript! :)

It's great :cool2:

I read only 14 chapters of the Wave and the transcripts of 1994(almost all), and some transcripts which were included in different articles. I'm afraid to misunderstand smth, I'm trying to read one by one.
How do you think, can I read the new one?

Someone will correct me if I'm off, but here are my thoughts: The Wave provides excellent context to the earlier sessions, many of which otherwise only exist in an out of context and/or incomplete fashion in various places on the internet.

The newer sessions posted on the forum are more complete, have added context when necessary, and oftentimes spur hundreds of replies and lengthy discussions. It is just my opinion, but I think reading some of the newest sessions - and the corresponding discussions - would be OK to do, even if you haven't yet finished reading the entire Wave series. Though I would still highly recommend finishing it first over spending hours reading over transcripts that don't have the whole picture. But everyone is different.

Just keep an open mind, and anticipation/expectations low. It is just an experiment, albeit a very interesting one! :)

Thanks Jason (ocean59). I really want to finish reading the Wave series. I need to make my English better and increase the speed of reading. I'm speaking English with my wife and also write and then learn the words that I don't know. I saw here a topic about photoreading, but haven't read it yet, and also I found some articles in the net, where you can learn how to increase the speed of reading.
And I don't want to read other transcripts whithout the Wave. I'd like to read the new one sesion in order to be aware what is happening now.

Yeah, a new session! Looking forward to that.

As far as the gravity of Earth influences these things as they come in, wouldn't the solar activity at the time affect everything, as well. For one thing, couldn't solar storm interference change the gravity of Earth/Moon/asteroid/comet, even just a little? And if so, that would be another possible unknown piece of the equation.
