The fact that Israel had the ability to shoot missiles into the bedrooms of several top Iranian commanders shows just how effective Israeli intel is, and it was very likely aided and abetted by US intel. There are also claims that "Mossad" were involved inside Iran shutting down air defenses.

Apparently, during the last night, Israel sent bombs on Teheran and Natanz, destroying military and nuclear sites, and killed the general Hossein Salami, leader of the "Guardians of the Revolution" corps. The Israelian operation was named "Rising Lion".

Fully agree - Iran can look to shut down the Straits of Hormuz as an asymmetric response ( understand that upwards of 20 Million bpd of oil go through here) - and that would greatly spike oil prices further. Oil futures and derivatives, another story altogether...
Im sure the West have "gamed" this scenario - maybe its what they want; just utter chaos economically for the globe. I guess this is what the balancing is about...sigh!
I was listening this interview yesterday, a very good one, and the cute guy at the right said something like, if war starts the Oil barrels could easily go up to 200 or 300 or more dollars, so the consumer could then pay 20, 30 dollars a gallon. And that will cause, this situation, a total chaos.

So US will be involved „indirectly“ by i.e. giving them more weapons and money etc? Or now Bibi needs some false flag so that US gets involved?
So are we looking at another choreographed response from Iran with lots of "we showed those evil Israelis, they won't dare do that again", or does Iran *actually* have sufficient firepower to teach Israel a lesson? Or is this all one big stupid show?

I don't think Iran can start all out war with Israel because US will step in.
I think they are in a tough spot because they aren't suicidal so won't go nuclear. The only option is choreographed or asymmetrical response.
Not sure what more they can do? Unless the US finally changes its tune on Israel, not much can be done.
Perhaps Israel got nervous with Iran as there´s a current satanic abuse scandal in Israel, which came right after Iran got it´s hands on secret Israeli documents.
I wonder what will Russia say; Balkan RT says that Zakharova is about to give a statement. Iran-Russia Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, from January 17 2025, does not obligate Russia to militarily intervene if Iran is attacked, like it´s the case with North Korea, but maybe there´s something we don´t know?
