Iran’s air defense has shot down two Israeli fighter jets, according to the defense correspondent of Tasnim News Agency. One of the pilots, a woman, has reportedly been captured by Iranian forces.

Israel’s military spokesperson in Arabic denied the reports.

The downing of the jets comes just hours after Iran launched a large-scale missile retaliation against Israel. The operation involved hundreds of ballistic missiles. Many were seen flying over Amman, Beirut, and Damascus en route to Israeli cities.

Videos circulating online show several direct hits on targets in Tel Aviv. Israeli Channel 13 confirmed a fire broke out near the Ministry of Defense in central Tel Aviv, inside the military compound known as HaKirya, located in a densely populated civilian area.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei had warned of consequences.
“We will not let them escape the great crime they committed,” he said during a speech as the missiles began to fall.
“The enemy’s life will be bitter, without a doubt.”

It's pretty clear that neither Israel nor the US (or combined) can actually 'defeat' Iran. So if they're going "all in" this time, their only option is the tried and tested "regime change" maneuver, and hope to spark a "civil war". So should we expect to see hoards of jihadis moving in to Iran in the near future? Not supporting Israel, of course, but merely "opportunistically" appearing out of nowhere, or maybe Afghanistan.

Israel will continue to deliver very intensive strikes against Iran, but it seems that Iran is ready to respond.

Trump then said Iran should come to the table now and cut a deal, especially since many of the hardliners are dead thanks to Israel.

Trump then dropped an epic and hilarious line when Bash asked if Iran’s failure to heed his warning was a result of the Israeli attack.

“They didn’t die of the flu; they didn’t die of Covid,” Trump quipped.

I hope the Russians have been working behind the scenes to help Iran prepare for this scenario which was obviously going to happen. However, I seriously doubt anything significant was given to Iran by Russia without the psychos in Israel knowing about it.

I just get me a feeling that they are better prepared than we might think. Russia/Iran don’t suffer from the same symptoms of delusions of grandeur like Israeli/US psychos, they see with clear eyes and know what they’re dealing with.

Yes, regime change and color revolution being well-worn tactics from their overused playbook. I was surprised it was so quick, but then why wouldn't they be ready when under threat since almost forever! And they've recovered time and again from having key people killed. Maybe providence is on their side - the evil being fought is so extreme and out of control.
