Brace Yourselves For War Between Iran and Israel

So, I spoke to another person at work who has relatives in Israel. Could not ask for too much detail due to the whole anti-semitism angle but their relatives are holed up in bunkers underground. They can communicate sometimes but phone reception is really bad. No civilian is allowed to fly in or out of Israel. They also, aren’t allowed to drive out of the country by road. As to the actual destruction outside, I could not obtain any info.

I would be careful to take assessments like the above at face value. Not seldomly it seems that people who have fled from the “evil regimes“ (like Syria or Iran for example) - that the west has labeled as such- tend to believe much of the western nonsense, or worse, are perpetrators of the ISIS variety themselves who have axe’s to grind with the “regimes“ from their former countries.
The person said that this is what people in Iran are saying. I don’t consider the person to be very enlightened so, never take it at face value. But, its good to understand what’s happening on the ground and people’s experiences and perspectives. It does appear that Iran is not doing a great job of managing the flow of information, which can be quite damaging to their cause.

What happens if the Iranian government feels Iran as an entity is under existential threat when/if America joins?

You would think they'd have an option at their disposal that is for the worst case scenario!

All I'm saying is Iran will likely launch nukes if nukes are launched towards it. I'm not ruling out the latter from what I'm seeing and so the former becomes even more real too. 😶

I found this news on Sputnik - Serbia. Watch the video on the Telegram link below.

Israeli ambassador says Israel is preparing something big, there will be surprises Thursday and Friday

Israel has prepared a new operation against Iran that will make a mass explosion of pagers around the world seem ridiculous, said Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter.

I struggle to believe they gambled on anything, and don't have serious leverage in reserve.

Oh I agree, at least their rhetoric points to some kind of 'exploding pager incident' but worse. All their involvement in tech makes the possibilities almost endless, we shall see.

Israeli Ambassador Yechiel Leiter says that the world should expect a “surprise” later this week in its attacks on Iran that will make the Mossad’s Hezbollah pager operation look “simple.”

I've been trying to get a wide-lens view of this Israel-Iran conflict as my gut instinct tells me this is a doorway to the greatest crisis of the last 80 years. How? I can't say. Why? We have lots of theories about that here on this forum, but remember that a number of Western World leaders (some with their fingers hovering over nuclear launch buttons) are certifiably insane, as previous posters have already mentioned, and trying to understand or predict the actions of a madman is a perilous task. Few of us can plumb the depths they sink to. Given the decades of build-up to this (and the looming Earth changes they are certainly aware of), it's hard to see the Zionist psychopaths stopping until Iran is destroyed. Getting the job half-done would almost be an admission of defeat, but from the military analyses in various posts above, Israel itself doesn't have enough conventional firepower (without going nuclear) to finish the job alone and its defences are vulnerable against Iranian hypersonic missiles. So the real question is at what point does the US, and then China and Russia get drawn into the hot conflict? Iran is such a valuable point on Zbigniew Brzezinski's Grand Chessboard (I wanted to say Cheeseboard!) in view of its geographical position and resources that this can easily be framed as a battle for world domination on 3D level, even before invoking 4D interests.

Even Trump must be aware that this scenario has been decades in the making and he's just a tumbleweed being blown across the alley of History. FWIW, he's always struck me as a clown, a man with good intentions in his personal relations perhaps, but hopelessly out of his depth (and thus dangerous) on the international political scene, and he's the Commander-in-Chief of the world's most trigger-happy military! In many ways it is a nightmarish situation. Trump has an opportunity to stand up for truth and justice here, to put aside his own monstrous ego and pull the curtain back to show who the real demons are, but I think we all know that's never going to happen.

Time to break out the popcorn! 🍿🍿🍿 (just don't use your smart microwave oven!)

Not very smart thinking if so. What is their major issue with the current leadership? Do they not know that their country will become like Iraq, Syria, etc. if that happens?
I just saw a video today made by an Iranian who is living in Poland and has a very good command of Polish. The consensus among younger Iranians seems to be that they want regime change, but not one orchestrated by Israel. Below are fragments of the transcript:
Hey, you asked me to speak up about the conflict that's going on between Iran and Israel, or actually about the war. You can call it that now. Last week on Friday, Israel attacked Iran for the first time as the first one, and then Iran retaliated, then it escalated and now there's already a war going on in Iran and Israel.

(...) Anyway, now let's talk about Iran, let's talk about what's happening there, because it seems to me that Polish media doesn't talk about this at all. Only what I read, I'm very embarrassed and disappointed by Polish media, which only talks about uh Iran's attacks on Israel. Of course how many people died there. Of course I I believe that nowhere never nowhere any people have to die in the name of any war, or politics, or any ideology, whatever it was supposed to be religion. Absolutely nowhere. I'm a peaceful person. I don't deal with such things at all, damn it. I want there to be peace in this world, but if there isn't and you ask me to speak up, then listen to what I'm saying. And this is my observation after conversations with my loved ones in Iran. And I see that they are in great fear, that people are dying there, civilian people are dying in Iran. Of course operations are carried out to kill those leaders. It's just that ordinary people die before that.

(...) I don't know politics. I don't know what should happen. I absolutely don't want to predict. I'll be very happy if Iran has a new government. However, I strongly doubt that Israel would be the one to help Iranians with this. And Iranians in my opinion have to pull themselves together and do it themselves. And evidently like half of other worlds, other countries in this world, which simply have moral decay in their countries, Iran also wants to live like that. I as a young person from Iran fled because I believe it's not a country to live in, because Iran is a sufficiently losing country for me, because it lost me, because I fled from there, because I didn't want to live there. So Iran is already in a losing position for me. Iran is already in a place where I say I wouldn't want to travel there, even because it messes with my head too much when I'm there. The last time I was there in 2022, that country, that state exhausted me enough that I never want to go back there. Believe me, and after those Iranian women's issues and so on, all that uh materials are on this channel, so you can you can reach for those older materials and see how much I uh was shaken by those those events that directly concern my family, my family. So I have something to lose, my my loved ones in Iran and I'm afraid for them, that the answer to this war will unfortunately not be removing the authorities and the authorities of Iran won't be removed, but there will be civilian people like me who didn't have the privilege to flee from Iran. I had that privilege because I have smart parents, because I could get a visa to Poland and come here and start a new life, be a good immigrant who learned to speak Polish fucking well and does great in Poland. But many Iranians don't have that.

(...) These sanctions have been on Iran for years. Iran is not ready for any war, because corruption has been happening there since '79, because it is, I say, Iran is such a losing country that corruption has been going on there since the beginning of the Islamic revolution. And earlier too of course everyone simply came to Iran, ate what they could and fucked off from there. So this is not this is not a state that could actually be a threat. Like some clowns on the internet say that Iran will be a threat to us in Poland. This is nonsense to me. This is Iran is a sufficiently fucked up country whose biggest occupation is making life difficult for its citizens.

(...) As I say, in this war only Iran's citizens answer with their lives for this war, and Iran doesn't protect them and no other country protects them anywhere either.

(...) the whole West revolves around Israel of course. I love Israeli heritage, I love Jewish heritage. Like my two favorite singers are Israelis exactly, Yasmin Levy and Lira. Yasmin Levy sings in in Hispanic, in Spanish Sephardic songs, and Lira, who has Iranian origins, sings in Persian. I adore heritage, Jewish cultural heritage. Poland had a lot of Jews in itself and those remaining memories move me because like I adore culture, I adore traditions, I adore people. So don't say, don't call me an antisemite, because exactly on Friday I'm going going to to Shabbat to to with exactly with Jews, Muslims and Christians, to sit together at one table. So I'm an open person. I'm not an antisemite because I love, I love all religions that connect people. But look in the name of religion what they're doing in Iran now also in the name of religion what Israel is doing so everything in the name of religion happens all the crimes of this world happen in the name of religion. And the world is silent about it. The world talks about how many people died in Israel. I'm very sorry. I believe that no one, no person has to die because of any ideology.

(...) Well this is what's happening in Iran. This is the mess that's in my head. And so I'll leave you this question. Who should care about those Iranians who fought for the rights of their sisters and mothers? And the Iranian government doesn't give a shit about them. The whole world doesn't give a shit about them and they won't have anywhere to flee for sure. So so they are left in a dictatorial country even which even is unfortunately strong enough to to oppress its citizens during war. So I hope this will change in Iran. I hope, but I hope not at the cost of people who live there and have such an approach to life like me and you who are exactly listening to this this statement of mine. Meaning the one who doesn't want, doesn't want to lose their life because of some ideology and want to simply live and be a happy person who brings joy to the whole world.

Maybe his intel officers gave him 'credible evidence' that Iran is actively seeking his assassination. He recently signed a deadman switch EO, promising the obliteration of Iran if he is assassinated. He's basically given the intel agencies/neocons/Deep State a good justification to both kill him and also get the war they've been dreaming of for so many years.

Followed that link to The Hill and it isn't clear to me that the EO is a deadman switch at all... sounds like fake news to me... copy of the EO?

The whole deadman switch was taken from his comments to the media after signing the EO. Here is the contents of the EO, which doesn't say anything about Iran trying to assassinate Trump:

SUBJECT: Imposing Maximum Pressure on the Government of
the Islamic Republic of Iran, Denying Iran All
Paths to a Nuclear Weapon, and Countering Iran’s
Malign Influence

As President, my highest priority is to ensure the safety and security of the United States and the American people. Since its inception in 1979 as a revolutionary theocracy, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran has declared its hostility to the United States and its allies and partners. Iran remains the world’s leading state sponsor of terror and has aided Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, the Taliban, al-Qa’ida, and other terrorist networks. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is itself a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.

The Iranian Government, including the IRGC, is using agents and cyber-enabled means to target United States nationals living in the United States and other countries around the world for attacks, including assault, kidnapping, and murder. Iran has also directed its proxy groups, including Hezbollah’s Islamic Jihad Organization, to embed sleeper cells in the Homeland to be activated in support of this terrorist activity.

Iran bears responsibility for the horrific Hamas massacres committed on October 7, 2023, and bears responsibility for continued Houthi attacks against the United States Navy, allied navies, and international commercial shipping in the Red Sea. Since April 2024, the regime has twice demonstrated its willingness to launch ballistic and cruise missile attacks against the State of Israel.

Iran commits grievous human rights abuses and arbitrarily detains foreigners, including United States citizens, on spurious charges without due process of law, subjecting them to abuse. The United States stands with the women of Iran who face daily abuse by the regime.

Iran’s nuclear program, including its enrichment- and reprocessing-related capabilities and nuclear-capable missiles, poses an existential danger to the United States and the entire civilized world. A radical regime like this can never be allowed to acquire or develop nuclear weapons, or to extort the United States or its allies through the threat of nuclear weapons acquisition, development, or use. Iran today stands in breach of its Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty obligations by concealing undeclared nuclear sites and material as required by its Comprehensive Safeguards Agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Iran has obstructed IAEA access to its military sites or sites tied to the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research, also known as SPND, and to interview nuclear weapons scientists still employed by SPND. Public reports indicating that Iran may now be engaged in computer modeling related to nuclear weapons development raise immediate alarm. We must deny Iran all paths to a nuclear weapon and end the regime’s nuclear extortion racket.

Iran’s behavior threatens the national interest of the United States. It is therefore in the national interest to impose maximum pressure on the Iranian regime to end its nuclear threat, curtail its ballistic missile program, and stop its support for terrorist groups.

Section 1. Policy. It is the policy of the United States that Iran be denied a nuclear weapon and intercontinental ballistic missiles; that Iran’s network and campaign of regional aggression be neutralized; that the IRGC and its surrogates be disrupted, degraded, or denied access to the resources that sustain their destabilizing activities; and to counter Iran’s aggressive development of missiles and other asymmetric and conventional weapons capabilities.

Sec. 2. Enacting Maximum Pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran. (a) The Secretary of the Treasury shall:

(i) immediately impose sanctions or appropriate enforcement remedies on all persons for which the Department has evidence of activity in violation of one or more Iran-related sanctions;

(ii) implement a robust and continual sanctions enforcement campaign with respect to Iran that denies the regime and its terror proxies access to revenue;

(iii) review for modification or rescission any general license, frequently asked question, or other guidance that provides Iran or any of its terror proxies any degree of economic or financial relief;

(iv) issue updated guidance to all relevant business sectors including shipping, insurance, and port operators, about the risks to any person that knowingly violates United States sanctions with respect to Iran or an Iranian terror proxy; and

(v) maintain countermeasures against Iran at the Financial Action Task Force, evaluate beneficial ownership thresholds to ensure sanctions deny Iran all possible illicit revenue, and evaluate whether financial institutions should adopt a “Know Your Customer’s Customer” standard for Iran-related transactions to further prevent sanctions evasion.

(b) The Secretary of State shall:

(i) modify or rescind sanctions waivers, particularly those that provide Iran any degree of economic or financial relief, including those related to Iran’s Chabahar port project;

(ii) implement a robust and continual campaign, in coordination with the Secretary of the Treasury and other relevant executive departments or agencies (agencies), to drive Iran’s export of oil to zero, including exports of Iranian crude to the People’s Republic of China;

(iii) lead a diplomatic campaign to isolate Iran throughout the world, including within international organizations, including the denial of freedom of movement or safe haven to the IRGC or any terror proxy of Iran wherever such may operate outside Iran’s borders; and

(iv) take immediate steps, in coordination with the Secretary of the Treasury and other relevant agencies, to ensure that the Iraqi financial system is not utilized by Iran for sanctions evasion or circumvention, and that Gulf countries are not used as sanctions evasion transshipment points.

(c) The United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations shall:

(i) work with key allies to complete the snapback of international sanctions and restrictions on Iran;

(ii) hold Iran accountable for its breach of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty; and

(iii) regularly convene the United Nations Security Council to highlight the myriad threats posed by Iran to international peace and security.

(d) The Secretary of Commerce shall conduct a robust and continuous export control enforcement campaign to restrict the flow of technology and components used by the regime for military purposes.

(e) The Attorney General shall:

(i) pursue all available legal steps to investigate, disrupt, and prosecute financial and logistical networks, operatives, or front groups inside the United States that are sponsored by Iran or an Iranian terror proxy;

(ii) pursue all available legal steps to impound illicit Iranian oil cargoes;

(iii) pursue all available legal steps to identify Iranian governmental assets in the United States and overseas, and help American victims of terrorism, including Gold Star Families, collect on Federal judgments against Iran;

(iv) pursue all available legal steps to indict and prosecute the leaders and members of Iranian-funded terrorist groups and proxies that have captured, harmed, or killed American citizens and, where possible and in coordination with the Secretary of State, seek their arrest and extradition to the United States; and

(v) use all criminal, regulatory, and cyber authorities and tools to vigorously investigate, prosecute, and disrupt efforts by the Iranian government to conduct espionage or obtain military, intelligence, government, or other sensitive information, compromise the Homeland and our critical infrastructure, evade sanctions and export controls, obtain material support for terrorism, exert foreign malign influence, and threaten harm and infringe on First Amendment-protected speech, including efforts designed to sow anti-Semitism.

Sec. 3. General Provisions. (a) Nothing in this memorandum shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:

(i) the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof; or

(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.

(b) This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability of appropriations.

(c) This memorandum is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

I just saw a video today made by an Iranian who is living in Poland and has a very good command of Polish. The consensus among younger Iranians seems to be that they want regime change, but not one orchestrated by Israel. Below are fragments of the transcript:

Still a view from a person who fled and thus have very biased opinion, as already said before. Plus, he's very unaware of real situation and players, which is obvious from his apologetic view on Israel.

IMO, Trump is done, the US doesn't exist as organized country anymore. There are only factions. Some of them are working for Israel and its doomsday death cult, some are not. Trump is in the middle trying to balance. He doesn't know that there is no balancing with the psychopaths. Israel is trying to provoke the end of the world and nothing will stop them. No "regime change" or "Iran cant have nukes". Those are just excuses for making the world war. The only way to stop psychopath in its doings is by its physical destruction. That goes for psychopathic countries too.

Followed that link to The Hill and it isn't clear to me that the EO is a deadman switch at all... sounds like fake news to me... copy of the EO?

He said:
President Trump on Tuesday said that he has left instructions that if Iran were to assassination him, the country should be destroyed.

The president made the remark after signing an executive order in the Oval Office that reiterates applying maximum pressure on Tehran by giving him all the possible tools to engage with its government, calling the action “very tough on Iran.”

“I’m going to sign it but hopefully we are not going to have to use it very much,” Trump said, adding that he wants to see about working out a deal with Iran so everybody “can live together.”

When questioned about Iran and proxies threatening to assassinate him, Trump said the U.S. adversary would be destroyed if that were to happen.

“They haven’t done that and that would be a terrible thing for them to do. Not because of me— if they did that, they would be obliterated. That would be the end. I’ve left instructions, if they do it, they get obliterated, there won’t be anything left. And, they shouldn’t be able to do it,” the president said.

So yeah, you may be right. He left deadman switch instructions, but those instructions may not be in the new EO. Is that a moot point, tho? It seems pretty straight forward to me that if he's assassinated 'by Iran', then he's given US military power (under Vance) a mandate to officially join the war.

I suppose that's only if we can take him at his word. Maybe he's bluffing as part of his Art of the Deal, which would be incredibly stupid, but not impossible.

This more recent Iran-pressure EO hasn't appeared yet.

Edit: just saw Beau's post
