BTW: I have just seen an interview with Scott Ritter in which he got very impassioned over the strike on the girls school in Tehran. He still carries guilt over from the Gulf War where he was responsible for sanctioning a missile strike on an underground Iraqi command bunker in which it turned out that over 400 Iraqi women and children were sheltering (which at the time was passed off simply as "collateral damage") contrary to the US intelligence reports he had relied on saying it was empty. He holds Donald Trump directly responsible for the schoolgirls' deaths. He has also gone on record saying that the US has already lost this war as they do not have the logistics in place to resupply the missiles they are expending in shooting down Iranian drones and missiles. Once they are gone they are gone.​

Ritter seems like a truly good man. His recent interviews are worth listening to for sure. He has a good view of the situation, understanding both western capability (from the inside), as well as the Iranian mindset/capabilities and the ethos of Shia Islam.

Additionally, he brings up numerous interesting points, such as:

Khameni most likely willingly martyred himself, died at home in the first few hours. [Although why was his family there just sitting in his house, along with all the Iranian top brass? Seems kinda dumb.]

If he had ran around between bunkers while his people had died it might have lead to regime change. Now he's the ultimate martyr for all the Shia.

Iran probably has some kind of analogue to the oreshnik.

The beit shemesh strike in Israel. The building that was struck was apparently hosting high level Israeli military conference. I.e. the Iranians have good Intel this time.

It is "logical" that Israel wants to quickly stop this advance. They have the stone but not the catapult so it's better not to wait until they also have the catapult to start acting.

This part caught my attention since it also surprised me that all those countries have not responded having the possibility of covering up Iran but maybe the possibility that they do not know exactly, at least not them, whether Iran can launch its big nuclear cucumber or not? (laughs) it's strange that these troublemakers haven't acted yet.

- Israel cannot sustain a drawn-out war of attrition against Iran and would ultimately come out weaker and more isolated.
- NATO alliance may also join under Article 5 if a missile hits a member of the NATO alliance.

And we still don’t understand the justification. We’ve heard it from some congressional leaders who had said that the president needs to make the case to the American people. He didn’t, and the justification is not clear. What is exactly the threat coming from Iran? By the comments of the president and the administration themselves, they obliterated the nuclear program, if that’s even possible. By the reports of the State Department, nuclear program of Iran was a civilian program. Iran has posed no harm or threats to the U.S. homeland. And so, to essentially attack once again, like June, and call this preemptive or a response to an imminent threat, I think we just haven’t seen that kind of justification, and also to do it in the middle of negotiations. The last round of negotiations just happened in Geneva, the third round, and a subsequent round was scheduled for Vienna, for Vienna in a couple of days, and come these attacks, as it did in June.

Our only way of defense is not to rely on negotiations with unreliable people in Washington. Our only way of defense is actually to have a deterrent, go all the way for a nuclear bomb. And this is what American conservatives would recommend also, openly, that a nuclear bomb is a deterrent. So, a regime change, I’m not sure if the people in Washington have thought this out, because if you have an alternative, then it’s feasible, but there is no alternative except for the Revolutionary Guards.

-About Iran, one should not forget that many of the current leaders experienced firsthand, the 8 year war with Iraq from 1980-1988, and came out on top. Iraq was being used by the US as a proxy much like Ukraine is being used. Khamenei was one of the leaders/commanders during that war, which caused more than a million dead and injured.
Iran came out on top and despite 46 years of sanctions, managed to have a highly educated society. They have suffered greatly by all of the actions by Israel and the West, but it has also made them stronger.

Before the current war started, Iran came out saying that if a war started, then they would give a serious response, which would eliminate the thread from Israel once and for all. (That is my paraphrasing). So it is unlikely that Iran is going to settle for peace anytime soon with those who have shown themselves to not be agreement capable and who only uses peaceagreements/ceasefires to rearm for the next attack. Iran is playing the long game and with a thousands of year long and proud history and with a cultured, educated and rich society, they are likely to prevail against the Epstein coalition. And they do have valuable partners in Russia and China, who will not let Iran fall if they can help it.
