Middle East Spectator is not controlled opposition. Neither is either of the Geopolitics channels (assuming you're talking about DD Geopolitics and Geopolitics Prime).

Someone saying MES is controlled opposition for saying a lot of Iranian drones and missiles are being intercepted is not paying attention to the channel or the fact that many missiles and drones are indeed intercepted. I actually like MES for posting about interceptions and the like because while some seem to be blind cheerleaders, he's often more thoughtful and insightful than others.

As for the desalination plant, it's why I subscribe to multiple channels. No one channel posts about every event. There's a lot of overlap but each will sometimes have events others miss.

The China Show seems like pure Western propaganda to me. The truth probably lies somewhere between the what sinophobes and the sinophiles are saying.

What gives you the idea that China is about to have another revolution? Why is it a place you wouldn't recommend?

Several reasons. The Chinese Government requires complete and absolute obedience both in behaviour and what is said by it's citizens or they will be 'dissapeared'. They do not tollerate dissent or criticism in any form, pretty much like lockdowns were for citizens of many Western countries - in fact, I believe it was probably modelled on China. They have a social credit system which works very well to control their society and you don't have a choice about whether you belong to it or not.

You cannot own anything because it all belongs to the Government (including how you behave) and.... China is not very well known for telling the truth. This causes a problem when they actually DO tell the truth because no-one believe them. This is a bit like the story of 'the boy who cried wolf'.

All levels of their political hierachy have issues with corruption. This costs lives as appearances matter more than safety especially when it comes to construction and building.

The way the Chinese are responding to this oppression is unrest, which in it's most extreme form will become revolution (imo), not that China would ever let you know this, because they are unable to tell the truth about themselves, especially if it's negative.

The dicotomy between sinophiles and sinophobes is an example of black and white thinking that is exploited by both sides. It is a question of how much is true and how much is a lie and I'm afraid China does not have a very good history of being truthful, most especially about anything negative.

Have you thought about what "pure Chinese propaganda" is yet, or are all the above issues that The China Show exposes, not real and made up? I'm sure the Chinese Government would rather any footage they show proving what they say, is taken down immediately.

Now, if that sounds like a great place to live, then by all means go live there. However, you won't neccessarily be welcome (there are many Chinese who are 'authoritarian followers' and absolutely believe and parrot anti-Western propaganda - just like there are in any other country).

For me, the Covid lockdowns were enough of an experience about how this system works to completely avoid the place.

The main reason Iran is taking so much damage at this moment in time is due to the US navy - sitting ducks that they are - launching the bombing sorties.

How much more are the Iranians willing to take before they cross the Rubicon and start firing hypersonic missiles at them?

Seriously, what have they got to lose? Many commentators are taking the line that, ‘yes, Iran is being hit hard, but if they can hold themselves together for the next few weeks, the US and Israel will start to run out of weapons.’

Why wait it out? Just neutralise the problem.

Perhaps because it could initiate a bigger problem? Iran (in conjunction with Russia) must know that the US did not initiate this, Israel did, and used their influence within the country to get what they wanted. They may see such a strategy and a precursor for escalation which nobody wants, particularly if the hidden hand of Israel isn't completely mainstream yet.

You want to sum up this conflict in three points?

1. The US abandoned their citizens in the Middle East, and the ones who called the hotline were pretty much told to take care of themselves and fly out while the commercial flights are still available. (Plenty of videos available on instagram of these people) While the tiny little country of Georgia chartered multiple flights for their citizens and got them out in time, they were prioritized over the mayor of the city himself. Let that sink in.

2. Pete Hegseth says: “The only Iranians that need to be worried right now are the ones who think they are going to live.” But yes, they are all doing this for the Iranian people, remember? You get got that right.

3. And finally, Trump said: If anything, I was the one who pushed Israelis.

This, Trump is a victim and Hegseth is a retard child, feel sorry for them- narrative is bullshit. The big bad wolf from Israel manipulated them, ohh feel sorry for them, they are just not strong enough, they got manipulated poor morons. Enough!

Kennedy learned very quickly who he could and couldn’t trust. I agree with your sentiments and some of us may unfortunately have strayed into that territory. Indeed, the first victim of the Iranian missile attacks on Israel was not even an Israeli but a young Filipino woman who was working in Israel. However, the majority of Israelis who have supported Netanyahu in his genocidal war on Gaza and now the unprovoked attacks on Iran have no doubt incurred a lot of karma by doing so, hence terrible though it may be, one has the feeling that a certain justice is being done in that they are now experiencing a taste of their own harsh medicine. Thus, it is very hard to avoid a certain feeling of schadenfreude where the Israelis are concerned. Even the C's seem to hint at this when they commented on Tel Aviv's fate in the session dated 23 August 2014:

I would add to what you have said above by pointing out that the Chinese government quickly reneged over the terms of the treaty they agreed with the British that saw Hong Kong reverting back to Chinese sovereignty. The brutal crackdown on those Hong Kongese who wished to keep democracy and free speech alive, which saw mass arrests in the former colony perfectly illustrates what you said. To his shame British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said nothing about this clear violation of the treaty when he met with Xi Jinping last year, putting trade deals with China first.​
