Fake stories can be planted by legal teams, PR teams, paid influencers, in conjuction with others, but it needs the co-operation of a friendly Press to print, then subsequently gets taken up by other news outlets. I think there's probably an art to it. Take a look at this wopper!!It's why I'm usually a bit 'sus' about stories from 'official sources.

Here's the podcast so you can verify for yourself that he did say these things.
That doesn't mean he's actually going to follow through with any of it. Which is what Poussard is suggesting.
So in that sense it's fake. But it's still a real story that the lawyer really did say that they were going to do it.
