I have been swearing I was gonna do this for weeks and everyone thought I was joking, but after looking at the wholly depressing number of topics about how we are all gonna die slowly, I thought I would bring some happy cheer with a discussion on teen pop stars and what might happen if they battled it out, Methodman style.

Personally I vote for Pink busting her groove all over TTB and TSC, werd. Did anyone see the Stupid Girls video? I couldn't stop laffing, it's a pretty hot jam for mainstream.

Well to me it certainly doesnt look like Pink has much clue about anything and certainly no more clue then stupid girls she is talking about, no matter how much benefit of the doubt we give her this becomes preety much obvious after you have seen her other stuff and if you observe the way how she presents herself in the public.
So I guess Stupid Girl video is just the case of pot calling the kettle black.

Im with Duke Leto on this one (or is it Paul). I cannot stand Britney, christina and many of the other pop-strumpets that parade around using blatanlty using sex to sell their work. I think Pink at least has the intergrity to stand up for what she belives in when she sees the pathetic role models around her, there's more to her than fake tans and slimming pills like some of these popsicles.

Also Britney's latest exploits of partying & crotch flashing are being spread all over the news screens, which makes me wanna reach for the sick bag, I wonder what her kids would say about it when/if they grow up? I think Aguilera's "Dirty" kinda sums up for me 95% of the pop world, male and female. There are some good atrists like Pink, but they are few and far between.

Im not really a pop fan though so I haven't paid that much attention to the pop world in the last 5-10years, more of a Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Chillis and Placebo fan.
 
well the fact that you guys see something meaningfull in her might mean that there is something there indeed,

maybe I was quick to judge her, I guess my bias boils down to the fact that I simply cant stand that kind of pop culture

It's all good, personally I prefer PJ, Greenday and Weezer, but I respect Pink and like her music, besides, chicks got a tude, tho Bif Naked takes the cake when it comes to girl rock, her and Bikini kill make me sweat, ( I love u Donna F lol )

What's really interesting to me is what is the 'macro meme' being sold here,
with the 'pop-divas' flashing their shaved vaginas, and the media keeping
it at level 1 in their reporting.

Same goes for the Russian spy's poisoning. These are two huge meme's of
the last 2 weeks. I've come across very little analysis of either. There is definitely
something going on with both these stories.

Anyone?

Dude, it's a gag, besides, some of us just like Pink, it's not a conspiracy, it's not the NWO. The woman is all kinds of fine an in the words of wayne, she can wail. Not everything is a conspiracy, sometimes a cigar is just an innuendo for a penir, and water flushes the other way around in the land down under because it does, ask Johnno.
