Happy New Year to all! 🥳

Au-Asia-Am meeting peeps, please let me know if anyone is around for a catch-up this evening. The next section in Comets and the Horns of Moses is on the Greek philosophers which we have already covered in Laura’s articles, so I thought it might be nice to have a chat about whether we want to skip that or go through those slides from before.

Let me know, looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back into our discussions!
Hi mate, Happy new year also!
I wont be able to make tonight as I have plans but will be ready to go from next week.

Nice, well how about those of us that can make it jump on at the same time (7pm Sydney GMT +11) to have a chat. I haven’t prepared a slide show for this week, we will start our regular workshops from next week when more peeps are back.

See y’all soon!! :-)

It was lovely to see you all after our hiatus over the festive season. As discussed, we will skip Chapters 7 and 8 in Comets and the Horns of Moses (as we have already discussed the Greek Philosophers from Laura's articles), and read Chapter 9 for our next workshop.

Once we finish this book, we will read Laura's Substack articles next.

See you all soon!

Hi guys, in the last workshop we discussed Laura's article The Kiss of al-Qahhār the Crusher: Love, Sex, and the Terrible Mercy of the Divine Names, as well as some bits of Jolan Chang's book Tao of Love and Sex. We also watched a video on the book, Ancient Secrets, and a video about the microcosmic orbit. We liked discussing these topics about sex and all so much, that after we finish Castaneda's book, we will read Jolan Chang's book.

We decided from now on to cover two chapters of The Fire From Within per workshop, so for next Sunday we will cover chapters 5 and 6. See you next Sunday!

Hi everyone,

Here are the links for the recent Aus-Asia-Am group discussions on Comets and the Horns of Moses by Laura Knight-Jadczyk.

Here's the video of the last meeting
The audio
And the folder
And the slide show

We will start Laura's Substack articles, starting from the most recent and working our way back for our next workshop on Saturday at 7pm Sydney ADEST time (GMT+11).

Just a heads up that some of us may be attending the Lord of the Rings extended cut showing at the movies for the 25th anniversary, so duty calls and we may skip next week's workshop as it will be at the same time. I will confirm that in the coming days, and as always, will post a reminder between 30 minutes to an hour before we start.

See you all then!

Below are the links to what we looked at:

This paragraph from one of Laura's Substacks on From Paul to Mark, exquisitely written IMO:
On the topic of Christianity, I actually wrote the book on that one. From Paul to Mark is not your typical religious-studies monograph. It’s a hybrid of textual analysis, historical forensics, and mythological deconstruction—a reconstruction of early Christianity stripped of centuries of dogmatic editing. What we know as “Christianity” today is essentially a political and theological fabrication, consolidated over centuries by the Roman Empire’s power apparatus. The original teachings (“PaleoChristianity”) were radically different. They were an initiatory, Gnostic-like system focused on direct experience of the divine and the development of the “higher self” through knowledge—gnosis. What makes the book unique is the forensic analysis approach. In writing this book, I used comparative linguistics — tracing textual mutations and interpolations in scripture. I cross-referenced Pagan, Gnostic, and Jewish literature — to show the archetypal borrowing from earlier mystery religions. I laid out and analyzed the political context — situating scriptural evolution within Rome’s consolidation of authority after the Jewish revolts. And I applied psychological typology — viewing religious structures as reflections of social control mechanisms derived from authoritarian personality patterns. I show how every subsequent canonical layer — especially the creation of Acts and the reediting of Pauline letters — served to obscure a much more esoteric proto-Christianity involving inner transformation and cosmic understanding. From Paul to Mark reclaims Christianity’s lost DNA from beneath 2,000 years of narrative manipulation and empire-building. It’s not an anti-Christian rant; it’s a post-institutional recovery project—Christianity before Rome, before hierarchy, before dogma. Paul’s “Christ crucified” is the moment when infinite consciousness passes through finite matter, reversing the flow of entropy, healing the cosmos through love, and awakening creation into self‑awareness.

The value of family and community which we have lost in the West due to individualism:
Joe Rogan sharing Tim Dillon's snippet on the Franklin scandal and gross malfeasance/corruption at the highest levels
Aussie humour and a peeling garlic hack (warning that there’s quite a bit of swearing, it’s part of the modern day Aussie vernacular)

Hi folks,

The Am-EU took a short break from The Fire from Within to talk learn and discuss Laura's Substack post titled The Kiss of al-Qahhār the Crusher: Love, Sex, and the Terrible Mercy of the Divine Names and Taoist sexual practices (video).

Summary
  • Radical Theodicy of Ibn al-ʿArabī: There is no ontological evil — what we call “evil” is simply the unmediated manifestation of divine Majesty (jalāl) names (e.g., al-Qahhār the Crusher, al-Mumīt Death) without their complementary Beauty (jamāl) yet visible; these “terrible” names are pure mercy in surgical form, burning away illusions of separation so the creature can fully receive the Beloved.
  • Relative Evil & Ultimate Purpose: “Evil” is always contextual — poison for one level is nectar for another; the Real manifests every name (even wrath and terror) out of love for Its own infinite completeness and out of love for creatures, forcing them to turn back and discover their true nature; even hell is a “hospital of mercy” for souls that refused gentler cures.
  • Cosmic Romance of Sex as STO Icon: Authentic loving sexual union is the bodily sacrament of the primordial Jamāl–Jalāl marriage — masculine pole gives ALL (Jalāl), feminine pole receives and returns ALL (Jamāl); orgasm dissolves boundaries into 7th-density “union with the One,” directly rehearsing the Cassiopaean STO formula “Give ALL to one who ASKS” in flesh.
  • Taoist Sexual Alchemy as Healing Path: Classical Chinese dual cultivation (not modern neo-Tantra) treats loving sex as a supreme healing modality — exchanges yin/yang essence, opens shared Microcosmic Orbit, washes bone marrow with refined jing-qi, and channels higher light to burn karma; non-orgasmic stimulation by a healthy partner can dramatically heal chronic/“incurable” illness when done with pure love and consent.
  • War on Polarity as 4D STS Frequency Fence: Modern culture’s attack on biological sex, fertility, and polarity is the greatest STS operation in history — a deliberate distortion to block the microcosmic icon of divine union and prevent graduation; the cure is erotic, alchemical, apocalyptic — let the Lover and Beloved meet undistorted so Majesty lays down the whip and Beauty stops hiding.

Discussion
  • If one part of your life has great joy, another part has an equal magnitude of sadness. What does conscious suffering mean for a couple? How to find a balance?
    • Do things that you love to do with a pure intent.
    • Sometimes you need to go against the initial resistance of the mind. I.e. the mind is telling me not to go to the gym, but after 30m there it was definitely a good idea.
  • Any reference to stealing, vampirism, etc. are signs of corrupted sexual teachings.
  • Shares Healing Through Union: The Sacred Teachings of the Mysterious Maiden (Art of the Bedchamber) by Laing Z. Matthews. One of the things is to be keen on when and when not to engage in sex (i.e. whether there is a full moon, the willingness of each person, etc.).
  • Microcosmic orbit is a Taoist qigong practice that uses breath and focus to circulate qi (vital energy) in a loop up the spine (Du meridian) and down the front torso (Ren Meridian). It clears energy blockages, balance the body, improve health, and promote mental clarity by connecting key energy centers. It often starts at the perineum and returning to the lower belly (Dantian). It aims to mimic natural cycles.
    • Shares webpage by Kris Deva North that goes over the microcosmic orbit (small heavenly cycle): https://healing-tao.co.uk/ht_microcosmic_orbit.htm.
    • There are initial instructions on what to do, but experimentation with openness and sincerity with your partner will create procedures that are natural. It's like learning to do belly-breathing--at some point it becomes second nature.
    • Am wary about energy circulation as a whole, maybe something to ask the Cs?
    • Sometimes when doing these exercises, I felt fear when bringing the energy up to the shoulder area. However, when doing the figure eight circulation it felt better. The tongue on the roof of the mouth makes it better too.
  • Shares types of orgasm (valley orgasm): Types of orgasm in women | Pathway To Pleasure | Austin, TX
    • Focus on your entire body and your partner's instead of focusing on a single spot.
  • Gaby's post on piperacillin

We meet on (17:00) Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on Sundays.

From the chat:
  • Pecha shared the quote: "Trance without sobriety is insanity. Sobriety without trance is utter darkness."

These are a few things that stood out for me in Chapter 8 of “The Fire From Within.” Perhaps they would be worth discussing at the next AM-EU session.
The page numbers in the pdf are different from the numbers in my paperback so I listed both. Emphases are mine.

Castaneda

“What are we really doing, don Juan?” I asked. “Is it possible that warriors are only preparing themselves for death?” “No way”, he said, gently patting my shoulder. “Warriors prepare themselves to be aware, and full awareness comes to them only when there is no more self-importance left in them. Only when they are nothing do they become everything.”

My comment
: Another forum I am in calls this “self-confirmatory ideation” and posits that, as thoughts as energy can manifest, it is the source of much suffering. This is an issue I have struggled with, wanting to be seen, and known as a “knower.” It takes constant vigilance/awareness to avoid self-importance. In the words of Galatians 6:3 (KJV): “For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Castaneda
“When they had calmed down, don Juan said that self-importance is the motivating force for every attack of melancholy. He added that warriors are entitled to have profound states of sadness, but that sadness is there only to make them laugh.”

My comment: And authentic humor and joy are spiritual values.

While we were having lunch the next day, don Juan said that Genaro had pushed my assemblage point with his gait of power, and that he had been able to do that because I had been in a state of inner silence. He explained that the articulation point of everything seers do is something he had talked about since the day we met: stopping the internal dialogue. He stressed over and over that the internal dialogue is what keeps the assemblage point fixed to its original position. “Once silence is attained, everything is possible”, he said.

My Comment: In the Buddhist tradition, to “erase yourself utterly” is to achieve nirvana.

Castaneda
“The explanation is simplicity itself”, he said. “You willed it, and thus you set a new intent, a new command. Then your command became the Eagle’s command.

My comment: This sounds close to the Aramaic translation of the word “prayer”: “to set a trap,” “to tune in.” “Willing
it” was aligning oneself with the structure of universe, “tuning in” to it. In the paragraphs prior, Castaneda described visions of a church, an altar, an enormous crucifix and he “was moved by profound love. I wanted …to pray to the Lord.”

Castaneda

The explanation behind all these complex procedures was very simple; the new seers say that since the exact position of the assemblage point is an arbitrary position chosen for us by our ancestors, it can move with a relatively small effort; once it moves, it forces new alignments of emanations, thus new perceptions.

My comment
: So is the assemblage point the key to total discernment of objective reality? What IS the assemblage
point? Something physical? Aural? The heart? The head? The gut? The mobius strip of thought? (e.g., UG Krishnamurti)
A mode-of-being-in-the-world? Perception? (The C’s state “translating” to 4D is simply a matter of perception.)

I will be attending the LOTR re-runs next weekend, so we will go ahead with our workshop this Saturday if there are peeps about. We can either start on Laura’s most recent Substack article or wait till everyone is available, and read one of Harrison’s Substack articles in the meantime.

Let me know what you’d prefer. See you soon!

Hi y'alls,

The Am-EU reading group continued with Chapter 5: The First Attention and Chapter 6: Inorganic Beings in Carlos Castaneda's The Fire from Within on January 11th, 2026, led by Mari.

Chapter 5: The First Attention
  • Attention as the refined product of awareness: Raw animal awareness evolves through life experience into the first attention — the ultra-sharpened, intricate faculty that handles the entire known world of everyday life; it is man’s single greatest accomplishment, but also his most fragile and limiting asset.
  • Three types/levels of attention: First attention = the glow of awareness fixed on the cocoon’s surface, covering only the known; second attention = specialized use of unused emanations, dealing with the unknown (vast, complex, dangerous quagmire); third attention = the fire from within, igniting all emanations inside the cocoon at once, attainable while alive only by warriors of total freedom.
  • First attention’s fatal flaw: Humans obsessively take an inventory of their trapped emanations (reflecting on themselves instead of aligning with the outside like other creatures), leading to extreme self-absorption (most people) or rigid reason (rare few); this blocks impulses from the emanations at large, making humans uniquely vulnerable to death and the Eagle.
  • Old vs. new seers’ fate: Old seers lit up emanations band-by-band and got trapped in the second attention’s quagmire; new seers aim for the third attention in one stroke — extending the glow beyond the cocoon — while retaining life-force and individuality, choosing their departure from the world instead of being devoured by the Eagle.
  • Sudden plunge into the unknown: Don Juan and Genaro push Castaneda into deep left-side awareness; he experiences a full day compressed into moments, then flees back to normal awareness; later, Genaro opens the door and “weird creatures” enter, forcing a protective retreat — illustrating how fragile the first attention is when confronted with the unknown.
  • (Laurs): Attention is like a specialized, refined form of awareness.
    • (RedFox): Yeah, it's like building up a muscle.
  • (Turgon): It's like the stoics, the men of reason. They disregard the impulses of the emanations at large, and are less automatically reactive to it.
  • (RedFox): Taking inventory reminds me of McGilchrist's work on the brain. The brain tends to bin things and identify them.
  • (RedFox): The left brain defaults to the fullest part of the first attention. It observes things, but can easily block supernatural things.
    • (Turgon): The right brain is more encompasses the second attention.
  • (Mari): Self absorption is like letting the winds take you through life, being moved mechanically.

Chapter 6: Inorganic Beings
  • Non-organic life forms are real and abundant: The ancient Toltecs discovered that organic life is not the only form of awareness on Earth — there exist countless inorganic beings (allies) with emanations of awareness inside receptacles that don’t look like cocoons; they possess emotions (love, sadness, wrath) and forms of life beyond metabolism/reproduction.
  • Allies are attracted to intense emotion: These creatures are drawn to animal fear most strongly (which they feed on like energy), but also to love, hatred, or any strong release; they are not inherently aggressive but behave like an electric current — neutral yet overwhelming when hooked by emotion.
  • Old seers’ obsession with allies: Ancient Toltecs became fascinated/fixated on allies, using elaborate gazing/water/fire techniques to descend into their levels or summon them; they fed allies fear, dominated them, and sought their power — this obsession trapped them in the second attention’s quagmire and contributed to their doom.
  • New seers’ corrected view: Allies are neither good nor bad — they are a different form of life with matching emanations to humans (allowing fair energy exchange); useful ones become scouts/guardians; useless ones are too alien; the new seers rarely use them, avoiding the old seers’ error of dependency and over-fascination.
  • Don Juan’s personal experience with allies: As a young man, he was chased by an ally after his benefactor’s demonstration; terror drove him, but control/discipline/forbearance/timing let him survive; allies can frighten to death or be wrestled into submission — the real power lies in impeccability, not the ally itself.
  • (Mari): Shares Puma's post on Dr. Strange's ability to see interdimensional bacteria (attachments basically): Session 13 May 2023
    • (RedFox): Maybe having good emotions/thoughts can attract good bacteria, good organic beings?
    • (Turgon): Perhaps it's analogous to having good bacteria in the gut.
    • (Mari): I'd prefer not to have any attachments to be on the safe side. It's a jungle out there after all.
  • (Mari): Obsidian mirrors were used in Mesoamerican culture spiritually. Obsidian is also known as a powerful shield against negativity, psychic attacks, emotional harm, and energy vampires through the act of absorbing and transmuting negative energies. Like a "psychic vacuum cleaner".
    • (Turgon): They used dragonglass, which is basically obsidian, to kill the white walkers in Game of Thrones.
    • (Laurs): The Cs also said that sometimes when a volcano erupts, it can represent degaussing of a 4D STS entity. Obsidian is made from the rapid cooling of magma, which of course comes from the eruption.
    • (Aliana): I've heard that mirrors shouldn't face windows, as it can attract entities. I think it was from one of the sessions.
    • (Mari): This is also an important concept in feng shui
  • (RedFox): The old seers used/created thought-forms to do their bidding.
    • (Mari): In Puerto Rico, there are gangs that have created a chupacabra that helps them get richer.
    • (Mari): Don Juan inherited these thought forms from his master, but got the feeling that he was indifferent to them at best. It seems like he doesn't put them to use and is merely fascinated by them.
  • (Turgon): It reminds me of STS dynamics. It takes your energy by feeding off of heightened emotion.
  • (RedFox): At one point during the second experiment where he mentioned that the mirror had a purple light on it, it made me think about Keel's experience with ultraviolet/purple lights in the sky. Perhaps this color comes out when the UFO is moving between 3rd and 4th density.

We meet on (17:00) Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on Sundays.
