Charlie Kirk is dead... A sad day in history

Was Kirk, perhaps, 'not meant to' die?

A ricochet off the top edge of your armor plate and straight into your jugular vein seems extremely unlucky, and it supports the government narrative that Kirk was 'killed by an amateur lone nutter' (although that doesn't exclude prior manipulation of him by 'experts').

Kirk's chances of surviving a 30.06 cal bullet from 140 yards directly into his plate would have been, what, 50-50?

I don't know if this will be of any help, but here is a list of the fastest flying bugs:
  • Dragonfly: 30 km/h; MAX 97 km/h (claimed) (the Australian Dragonfly holds the Guinness record at 39 km/h for fastest flying insect)
  • Horsefly: 60 km/h (claimed); MAX 145 km/h (claimed)
  • Honey Bee: 30 km/h (pollen laden); MAX 65 km/h
  • American Deer Bot Fly: MAX 80 km/h
  • Hornet: 25 km/h
  • Hawkmoth: 54 km/h (the fastest moth, can hover like a hummingbird)
  • Locust: 33 km/h
  • Skipper Butterfly: 60 km/h (the fastest butterfly)
  • Ladybugs: MAX 60 km/h (have also been found at 3600 ft in the air)
  • Bumblebee: 17 km/h (pollen laden); MAX 28 km/h (their wings don't flap but vibrate)

The fastest flying mammal is the Brazilian (aka: Mexican) free-tailed bat. They have been documented at reaching 160 km/h in level flight (perfect conditions) with regular cruising speeds that exceed 60 km/h. They can fly to altitudes of 10,800 ft., the highest of any bat. A native to the Americas and particularly abundant in the southwestern US and Mexico. It does reside in Utah (#6) and has a wingspan of 13 inches. Primarily nocturnal but from the wiki: "Bats appear to be most active in late morning and afternoon between June and September." They are mostly found in caves but will nest in man-made structures.

I don't know of any university campus that doesn't have bats. The flying things could be drones, but for their speed, I really can't say they're bugs. If these things are natural, I'd say they're bats. Best guess.

That's how it looks to me. Presumably a professional sniper would be able to hit the plate directly if that's what he intended. With anyone else, being off 4 inches or so wouldn't be that unexpected. Impossible to say where he was even aiming. Was he aiming for the head and the shot went low? Aiming for the heart and the shot went high?

Grok sez:
  • Level III/IV Armor, Direct Plate Hit: 80-95% survival chance, assuming no secondary complications.
  • Level IIIA or No Armor: <10-20% survival chance due to penetration and organ damage.
  • Edge Hit or AP Round vs. Inadequate Armor: <10% survival chance.

From Sunday, 7 July 2019 (the first episode of his podcast) through Wednesday, 10 September 2025 equals 6 days and 66 days. The number of the beast.

Charlie was shot in Orem, Utah. That's an anagram of Rome. Kirk is a ethymological equivalent of Church.

There is a rumored book that was published a day before his death and taken offline a day after his death, a book called “Who Murdered Charlie Kirk?”. A real book put on Amazon that was taken down the day after…
