Childcare in America and the UK

Ok, so I noticed a few articles recently that struck me as kind of out of the blue/high profile (enough to scare people into followwing them) here in the UK...

UK: Two Mothers are banned from looking after each other's children Sat, 26 Sep 2009 14:32 EDT
UK: Nation's parents prepare to be vetted Mon, 28 Sep 2009 13:40 EDT

And now..
State to Mom: Stop Baby-Sitting Neighbors' Kids Wed, 30 Sep 2009 11:03 EDT

Is it me or is there a real push at the moment to stop social units from taking care of each others children? I can see the pathology behind it (death of the non pathological society/caring for your fellow human being) but the urgency of having three things like this in 4 days! What the heck? Its like childcare is the new swine flu which must be vaccinated against immediately!
Are the PTB pushing this in other countries?

I try my best to keep an eye on whats going on, but for me this has raised a larger red flag than usual.....

I can't help but wonder how the PTB are going to be using children as (emotionally impacting/disabling) weapons against us in the coming months....I'm reminded of V for Vendeta where a school was chosen for the 'viral outbreak' for maximum emotional impact.....I can't see what it is yet but it tastes like its the tip of the same sort of thing. osit

Not only that, but the PTB want parents to relinquish care of their children to the state. And it seems that this is working, at last in certain sections of society.

Schools bring in mothers for lessons after pupils 'start school unable to drink from a cup or speak'

Daily Mail said:
Schools are having to bring mothers in for parenting lessons as youngsters turn up unable to speak, use the toilet or drink from a cup.

Ofsted inspectors found that primaries which achieve good results in deprived areas often extend their teaching to include parents.

Staff reported that some parents pass responsibility for toilet-training their children on to schools, saying: 'The school will do that.'

:O

I noticed that too! I guess these examples has been shown to test public reaction before making it more systematic and official.
