Chocolate with coconut oil

Black tea has a (small, I think) amount of caffeine, but you can still drink herbal tea as you get closer to bed time, there's plenty of variety for herbal teas so I think you won't have a problem finding a few that you like.

Regarding spices, the ones you have mentioned aren't, as far as I'm aware, within the list of the most allergenic ingredients. Having said that, it's probably still a good idea to test each as each body is different and you might react to something apparently harmless.

Hope this helps.

So herbal tea has less caffeine than black tea and green tea? I have some herbal tea at home. I like especially chamomile before bedtime. :)
It's is good to know that those spices are not the most allergic ingredients. Thank you Gertrudes.

Herbal tea has no caffeine, so it is safe in that regard.
Chamomile, amongst other things, is known to be good for calming, no wonder you enjoy it before bedtime :)

It is claimed that cinnamon can help with insulin resistance. (Google "cinnamon insulin resistance")

My grandmother is diagnosed with diabetes and says that cinnamon seemed to help. She said the effects didn't become apparent until she increased the amount she used to a teaspoon or two, though. She took it in the morning as I recall.

Really going off topic here, you set me off Joe on a quest to find songs about coconuts...
