What is your take on Cindy Sheehan's resignation? Why did she quit -- did she simply burn out from the incessant smear campaign, or was there a targeted effect to force out?

there is a recent report that Cindy Sheehan may have been involved, through ignorance, into an IRS fraud:

A nationally known anti-war group in Mclennan County has lost its corporate status with the state, and a former member is calling for an investigation.

Officials in the Texas State Comptroller’s office said the Crawford Peace House hasn’t handed in required paperwork in nearly a year…

Its corporate charter is now revoked. [..]

They collected $700,000, according to one former member. A shade over $11,000 is still left. Without a corporate charter, there’s no limited liability for the officers and directors. Which means Mother Sheehan, potentially, is personally on the hook for any outstanding debts.

Could it be that she was she taken advantage of, and now blackmailed into silence?

If you have any comments on her position, political weight, potential in uncovering the Truth, and any other information about the circumstances surrounding her resignation, please share!

I was wondering the same things. Cindy Sheehan has certainly been one of the strongest voices in the anti-war crowd. I was thinking about this the other day, and why she is so effective. I think much of the reason is that she can waken the emotional center of the dazed masses. Her story hits home for the average American.

Since there is no draft, we have not seen the mobilization that was largely organized by fearful college students. I was at a community discussion on peace last month were someone was actually advocating the draft so there could be momentum for the antiwar movement - talk about conversive thinking. What's also interesting was at this meeting there was a young man, an ex-marine named Liam Madden, who is making big headlines in national news as an antiwar activist being the co-founder for the Appeal for Redress. It's for active soldiers who protest the War by appealing to their representatives. He spoke at a rally held earlier in the day, and was quite good. After the day was over I was thinking he sounded too good. This thought grew when I visited his myspace profile and saw that he didn't support the official story of 9/11. I began to wonder about the possibility that he could be cointelpro. This felt like a strange thing to wonder if someone I met and talked to personally might be cointelpro. I thought about things he said during the meeting and one thing stood out: He thought Cindy Sheehan was not a good 'spokesperson' for the antiwar movement. 'We need a new and fresh face. Someone that can appeal to the younger generations and make it cool' is a summary of what he said. But what we need is not something 'cool' but something of empathy. And that's what Cindy evoked in people. So this with her current resignation makes me wonder what really is going on.

I do tend to think that it's probably not blackmail or anything as overt. With her spirit it seems she would have become louder if that was the case. She may not know of all the forces working behind the scenes against her. She probably has a good clue, but without the proper knowledge I could see how someone such as she could easily get burnt out.

Did you catch this?

Cindy Sheehan said:
I have endured a lot of smear and hatred since Casey was killed and especially since I became the so-called "Face" of the American anti-war movement. Especially since I renounced any tie I have remaining with the Democratic Party, I have been further trashed on such "liberal blogs" as the Democratic Underground. Being called an "attention whore" and being told "good riddance" are some of the more milder rebukes.

I have come to some heartbreaking conclusions this Memorial Day Morning. These are not spur of the moment reflections, but things I have been meditating on for about a year now. The conclusions that I have slowly and very reluctantly come to are very heartbreaking to me.

The first conclusion is that I was the darling of the so-called left as long as I limited my protests to George Bush and the Republican Party. Of course, I was slandered and libeled by the right as a "tool" of the Democratic Party. This label was to marginalize me and my message. How could a woman have an original thought, or be working outside of our "two-party" system?

However, when I started to hold the Democratic Party to the same standards that I held the Republican Party, support for my cause started to erode and the "left" started labeling me with the same slurs that the right used. I guess no one paid attention to me when I said that the issue of peace and people dying for no reason is not a matter of "right or left", but "right and wrong."

I am deemed a radical because I believe that partisan politics should be left to the wayside when hundreds of thousands of people are dying for a war based on lies that is supported by Democrats and Republican alike. It amazes me that people who are sharp on the issues and can zero in like a laser beam on lies, misrepresentations, and political expediency when it comes to one party refuse to recognize it in their own party. Blind party loyalty is dangerous whatever side it occurs on. People of the world look on us Americans as jokes because we allow our political leaders so much murderous latitude and if we don't find alternatives to this corrupt "two" party system our Representative Republic will die and be replaced with what we are rapidly descending into with nary a check or balance: a fascist corporate wasteland. I am demonized because I don't see party affiliation or nationality when I look at a person, I see that person's heart. If someone looks, dresses, acts, talks and votes like a Republican, then why do they deserve support just because he/she calls him/herself a Democrat?

Cindy hasn't 'quit' anything - she was never a 'member' to begin with! Her endeavours have taught her an important thing: that left-right politics is a charade. Sure, later in the article she says that she's "resigning as the 'face' of the American Anti-war Movement." But I think this is made in jest, 'cause she knows that's all just political BS anyway!

I have also reached the conclusion that if I am doing what I am doing because I am an "attention whore" then I really need to be committed. I have invested everything I have into trying to bring peace with justice to a country that wants neither. If an individual wants both, then normally he/she is not willing to do more than walk in a protest march or sit behind his/her computer criticizing others. I have spent every available cent I got from the money a "grateful" country gave me when they killed my son and every penny that I have received in speaking or book fees since then. I have sacrificed a 29 year marriage and have traveled for extended periods of time away from Casey's brother and sisters and my health has suffered and my hospital bills from last summer (when I almost died) are in collection because I have used all my energy trying to stop this country from slaughtering innocent human beings. I have been called every despicable name that small minds can think of and have had my life threatened many times.

She has suffered greatly, to the point of near-death. But in standing up for truth at great personal cost, she now understands so much more than before.

The most devastating conclusion that I reached this morning, however, was that Casey did indeed die for nothing. His precious lifeblood drained out in a country far away from his family who loves him, killed by his own country which is beholden to and run by a war machine that even controls what we think. I have tried every since he died to make his sacrifice meaningful. Casey died for a country which cares more about who will be the next American Idol than how many people will be killed in the next few months while Democrats and Republicans play politics with human lives. It is so painful to me to know that I bought into this system for so many years and Casey paid the price for that allegiance. I failed my boy and that hurts the most.

I have also tried to work within a peace movement that often puts personal egos above peace and human life. This group won't work with that group; he won't attend an event if she is going to be there; and why does Cindy Sheehan get all the attention anyway? It is hard to work for peace when the very movement that is named after it has so many divisions.

Yup, Political Ponerology is in order for Cindy!

Our brave young men and women in Iraq have been abandoned there indefinitely by their cowardly leaders who move them around like pawns on a chessboard of destruction and the people of Iraq have been doomed to death and fates worse than death by people worried more about elections than people. However, in five, ten, or fifteen years, our troops will come limping home in another abject defeat and ten or twenty years from then, our children's children will be seeing their loved ones die for no reason, because their grandparents also bought into this corrupt system. George Bush will never be impeached because if the Democrats dig too deeply, they may unearth a few skeletons in their own graves and the system will perpetuate itself in perpetuity.

I am going to take whatever I have left and go home. I am going to go home and be a mother to my surviving children and try to regain some of what I have lost. I will try to maintain and nurture some very positive relationships that I have found in the journey that I was forced into when Casey died and try to repair some of the ones that have fallen apart since I began this single-minded crusade to try and change a paradigm that is now, I am afraid, carved in immovable, unbendable and rigidly mendacious marble.

I think she has realised that it was always so? That the state inherently functions against its people. She has had her core beliefs and assumptions torched in a baptism of fire, culminating in her realisation that yes, Casey was wastefully murdered by a system that is anti-human.

Camp Casey has served its purpose. It's for sale. Anyone want to buy five beautiful acres in Crawford , Texas ? I will consider any reasonable offer. I hear George Bush will be moving out soon, too...which makes the property even more valuable.

This is my resignation letter as the "face" of the American anti-war movement. This is not my "Checkers" moment, because I will never give up trying to help people in the world who are harmed by the empire of the good old US of A, but I am finished working in, or outside of this system. This system forcefully resists being helped and eats up the people who try to help it. I am getting out before it totally consumes me or anymore people that I love and the rest of my resources.

Good-bye America ...you are not the country that I love and I finally realized no matter how much I sacrifice, I can't make you be that country unless you want it.

It's up to you now.
Good for you Cindy Sheehan! You had to discover the General Law the hard way. But putting your neck on the line like you did has given you an immensely strong singularity of purpose. You can recharge your batteries, integrating all you have learnt from your awakening experiences to date. The very process will offer you new insights and new strategies with which to do useful work.

I sent her a link to ponerology a while ago... here's the emails.

Ms Sheehan -

First I'd like to offer my utmost gratitude for all
your efforts. You've become a spearhead for the peace
movement, and an example for all mothers and fathers.

I myself am a 24 year old graduate with a degree in
biochemistry. After 9-11 i aimed my talents as to
discovering the true nature of our reality, as
everything I have been taught thus far seemed at best
naive, and at worst deliberate manipulation and
misinformation.

In my search, i found the work on a Polish Scientist
named Andrew Lobaczewski. He lived through the nazi
and subsequent communist occupation of poland and
applied his newly acquired knowledge of psychology to
the minds of the enforcers and supporters of these
obviously corrupt and malignant regimes. The first
copy of his manuscript was thrown into the fire
moments before his residence was raided by police in
search of this very document. The second was sent with
haste to the vatican, for which no reply or receipt
was given. The third was completed in the mid-1980s
and was blocked from being published until 2006.

His work, now available in its entirety, is called
Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil.

There's some good reviews up by some prominent members
of the blogosphere, Catherine Austin Fitts has one
here:
http://www.solari.com/blog/?p=96

and there's another by Keaven Van Lom here:
http://www.moonshineink.com/article_detail.php?is=33&id=205

And a good summary of the material is available online
here:
http://www.cassiopaea.org/cass/political_ponerology_lobaczewski.htm

I'm writing because in order for any movement to be
successful it must understand this psychological
knowledge of psychopaths and how they operate;
otherwise these deviants will infect and co-opt any
peace or resistance movement they are involved with.

Bush and his associates are likely suffering from
induced or genetic psychopathy - they have no
conscience, no empathy, no remorse and no ability to
see their own errors. They're egotistical and
narcisstic to a degree we can hardly fathom, and
they'll do anything to get what they want.

My biggest fear is that we won't remove them from
power soon enough, so i'm writing to share this
knowledge with you in the hopes that you may
understand it and put it to good use.

Good Luck, and may God have mercy on us all.

Sincerely,

BK

PS - And i almost forgot, the work itself is available
through these guys: http://redpillpress.com

Dear Brent
Thanks for writing me...as soon as I have time I will follow your links.
I have ready Dr. Justin Franks' "Bush on the Couch"
and I think he is a psycopath..I too am frightened that we will be too
late.
Love & Peace
please call me, Cindy

Whoa!

At least she responded! Maybe she can get the word (the WORK) out to
the sheeple who are asleep! I am crossing fingers that she would take the
time to follow through on your advice and read the links provided.

Note that she responded: "Call me"!

Yeh that's what I thought initially too!

Naw Dant, I think it's 'Please call me Cindy' ... as in, 'no need for the formality of addressing me as Ms. Sheehan' :)

I think it is simple:

We have all had the message that "our children go off to fight old men's wars to protect us from some boogie man under the bed" drummed into us since birth. In this case Cindy not only had to unlearn what all of the government, education and media forces have been pounding into her brain for her entire life, she also had to do it while clinging desperately to the idea that "No, No, it cannot be true, not my Casey."

First she had to understand that he did not die for country or liberty or principals. This is difficult. Next she had to understand that he did not even die as an example of the waste of our children. Finally she had to understand that she had a role, albeit unwittingly, in this.

I admire her strength and feel for her pain.

I think a lot of parents dedicate their lives for their children - so in essence, they perceive their biggest purpose to live is for their children, this is their future, this is their hope. But if you lose what you thought was the only thing worth living for, that's a shock, but at the same time, it creates a state of "nothing left to lose". I think that one of the worst things a government can do for itself is create a bunch of people with nothing left to lose, to hurt and shock people so much that they hit rock bottom, and when that happens, there is a possibility of some SERIOUS growth, some serious opposition that will be impossible to stop, to blackmail, to threaten, to buy off. This condition, and why it's so dangerous to the PTB is what Atreides was talking about with respect to this new "logo" for the forum and the signs page - a bee/butterfly. Here:

http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=4672.msg30790#msg30790

So if your biggest fear is not your death, but the death of someone you love, and they die, then in that state your death may suddenly be not such a bad idea, many have and do commit suicide as a result. But if you can overcome this and instead channel this state into a goal, then you can be come the most feared thing by the PTB - you have little concern for your own life, you are willing to sacrifice your life to achieve this goal, and therefore you cannot be threatened, you cannot be intimidated, you cannot be tempted away from your goal. Danny, a member of this forum, knows what that feeling is like, but he almost misused that energy and almost wasted it into nothingness here:
http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=4347

I would imagine that the amount of growth that can be done, when you are in a state of "nothing to lose" is phenomenal. You are much less afraid to face your own fears, your assumptions, your illusions. You are less afraid to question, to DO anything. And with a network like this, that can help you guide this energy into useful pursuits, you become unstoppable, you make lots of progress - if you can hang on to that powerful energy and use it, osit.

But the trick is correct utilization because I think you can still be manipulated and led astray. Given that powerful energy and the emotions that accompany it, you can be manipulated into suicide, or you can be manipulated into going in circles and just wasting that energy. So maybe you cannot be threatened or bought off, but can still be tricked, so you still need knowledge. You're like the person that is willing to jump in front of a barrel of a machine gun so that your friends can live, but the enemy can make you believe that this action is necessary when it may not be, and you can end up sacrificing yourself and your friends will lose a valuable ally, due to his/her own ignorance. But knowledge + that powerful energy = superman. :D

It's not time for her to retire. She needs to see that there are people like us who are ready to stand up and own this responsibility. She needs to see that she is not alone, that we are here to use all of our collective knowledge and creativity to
find the achilles heals of these posers. They're not invinsible, and it's not over until the fat lady sings.

Who's more highly evolved, us or the psycopaths? We out number them. We give them their technology, and we've given them free reign through our ignorance and apathy. I know there are many great souls right here on this forum. It's up to each of us to find a way.

And then maybe she'll know it wasn't all for nothing.

Cindy should have read Ponerology and made the first order of business informing others about psychopathy as well as watching out for it in the movement she was involved in. She's not the first person who has been burned by the whackos and has quit in disgust. Lack of accurate and adequate psychological knowledge is generally the reason why.
