Alexander Zakharchenko, self-proclaimed PM of the Donetsk rebel area, said on Friday 150 vehicles and 1,200 personnel were approaching their border."

The above video in Ukraine, shows similarities to Israel's use of white Phosphorus incendiary shells over Gaza?

_http://www.vtjp.org/background/gazaweapons.php

The most prominent controversy is over the use of shells containing white phosphorus, which causes horrific burns when it comes into contact with skin. Under international law, phosphorus is allowed as a smokescreen to protect soldiers but treated as a chemical weapon when used against civilians.

The Israeli army maintains that it is using only weapons authorized in international law, though human rights groups have severely criticized Israel for firing phosphorus shells over densely populated areas of Gaza.

Nothing about Zakharchenko here, but I guess they talk about the same armor.

Poroshenko saw the Russians, and the Russians saw provocation
Today, 06:25

Kiev yesterday announced the destruction of the column of heavy military equipment, allegedly deployed on the territory of Ukraine from Russia. The crossing of Russian armored vehicles boundaries originally came from the Western media.

In the Russian defense Ministry has categorically denied this information, but the Russian foreign Ministry said that Kiev was occupied by the cheating of a high level". Meanwhile, partly cleared the fate of the Russian convoy with humanitarian aid for Donbass: working on its customs clearance joined Ukrainian experts and representatives of the red cross.

Yesterday the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in conversation with British Prime Minister David Cameron said that the Ukrainian artillery destroyed part of the column of heavy military equipment, which was allegedly deployed on Ukrainian territory of the Russian Federation. From the message on the website of the President of Ukraine should: Petro Poroshenko data confirmed the British media that Thursday night Russian armored vehicles crossed the Ukrainian border. "This information is reliable," says the website. However, in the version that was originally published by press service of Mr. Poroshenko as a result of his conversation with the British Prime Minister, the passage about the night incident was not - he was added to the text a few hours later.

In the night of Friday, The Telegraph and The Guardian reported that a convoy of 20 vehicles and army trucks with Russian numbers were close to the Ukrainian border, and then crossed it near the checkpoint Donetsk--Izvarino. Journalists of both publications claim that saw armoured vehicles followed a dirt road along the border, and then penetrated into the gap in the barbed wire fence that separates Russia from Ukraine. "When the column moved on Ukrainian territory, in the twilight, he could see the outlines of armed men," he told The Guardian, adding that Kyiv has no control over these segment boundaries (Izvarino control militias).

Before the statement of the press service Poroshenko information British media confirmed at the headquarters of the "Antiterrorist operation" of Ukraine: "According to intelligence reports, a column of armored personnel carriers and military factory crossed the border and through temporarily closed transmission Izvarino entered the territory of our state. Number and identification marks on the technique were Russian."

Concern about the "Russian invasion" expressed yesterday and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. And the foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius has said, according to him, in the night of Friday, not 20, and "70 units of the Russian military equipment" crossed the Ukrainian border.

The FSB border guard in the Rostov region information of the British media has denied yesterday morning. It was explained: the border areas patrulius mobile groups, but only on the territory of Russia. "Information about crossing the border by a group of servicemen of the Russian Federation does not correspond to reality," said the FSB.

In the evening, after Kiev said about the destruction of Russian armored vehicles, a statement was made by the representative of the defense Ministry, major-General Igor Konashenkov. According to him, "no Russian military columns, which allegedly crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border, night nor day, does not exist". "And it would be best if the Ukrainian artillery destroyed the phantom, not refugees or their own soldiers," said Mr. Konashenkov, adding that Moscow would not be surprised if the Ukrainian side will show his or burned equipment."

"All this is like cheating a high level, " said Kommersant, the Russian MFA representative Maria Zakharova.- Add in the message key on the content of the paragraph with the charge in the transition of the Russian armored vehicles of the border is a forgery of national importance". According to Ms. Zakharova, about the incident, which allegedly took place, "the world has learned almost a day later and it fixed thanks to the press release". "It's just some sharps",she concluded.

The information that a convoy of Russian military equipment stopped the Ukrainian border, not confirmed and the OSCE. As stated by the OSCE representative Shiv Sharma, working under the aegis of the organization of border monitoring mission on Thursday did not record the passage of military convoy of the Russian Federation across the border". About it, according to Shiva Sharma, the headquarters of the OSCE in Vienna informed the head of the observer mission Paul Picard.

In Vienna said: controlled Field the Picard mission is working "around the clock" on two of the Russian KPT - "Donetsk" and "Gukovo", that is, and on Thursday evening, when British journalists allegedly recorded the transfer of Russian armored vehicles to Ukraine, OSCE observers were on duty. However, as explained Shiv Sharma, observers do not leave the territory of the CPR.

The correspondent, who was on Thursday near the border recorded the movement of Russian military equipment on the road leading from highway M-4 in the direction of transmission "Donetsk". However, information that the convoy approached or crossed the border it has. Already after the article correspondent of The Guardian's Sean Walker in an interview with dozhd TV channel explained: understand that the convoy was on the Ukrainian side of the border, has allowed GPS determined location as Ukraine.

Meanwhile, partly cleared up the situation with the Russian humanitarian convoy for Donbass. Yesterday morning 41 the representative of the border guard of Ukraine and 18 Ukrainian customs officers arrived at the checkpoint "Donetsk", 20 km from which stopped the convoy. As predicted, "b", Ukrainian specialists will inspect and issue gonokami on the Russian side.

Head of operational activities of the International Committee of the red cross (ICRC) in Europe and Central Asia Laurent Korba urged the authorities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine "to do everything possible to quickly resolve the remaining issues with sending humanitarian convoy in the Donbass, adding: "given the complex logistics and security problems operation assistance will take some time."

Yesterday, the ICRC has also announced that it will invest in the Rostov region additional staff. At work now option column after inspection crosses the border and accompanied by red cross staff will travel to Lugansk (or one of the settlements near it). On the territory of Ukraine will be allowed only truck drivers "unaccompanied".

The ICRC yesterday cruised between the camp of the Russian humanitarian "KAMAZ" and CAT "Donetsk". ICRC spokesman Victoria Zotikova said that "the talks was to discuss the technical details of the clearance of cargo, border crossing". "The fact that the negotiations are going and there is such a triple contact between the ICRC, the Federation and Ukraine, which is already good," said she.

Meanwhile, according to her colleagues Laurent Korba, still remains unresolved the question of security guarantees for the convoy. The Russian foreign Ministry also said yesterday about possible sabotage of humanitarian columns: "there have been reports that subversive group punitive battalion "Aidar" plans to mine the individual sections of roads in the region, to destroy the trucks with humanitarian aid and the accompanying staff, and then to blame the terrorist militias".

The battles around Lugansk yesterday lasted all day. Sent by the Ukrainian authorities of Kharkiv humanitarian aid, however, managed to reach his destination: 50 wagons were unloaded in Starobelsk (100 km North of Kiev). "The warehouses are full, our truck arrived full, not empty," said Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on regulation in the Donbass Irina Gerashchenko.

This was a clear allusion to the outbreak in the Ukrainian and Western media discussion about why the number of Russian trucks (the journalists were allowed to remove their contents) were not loaded to the brim. One of the leaders of Russian convoy explained: "We can't fill the car up to the roof, otherwise they simply will not go." In addition, according to him, half-empty trucks needed in case of breakdown of other machines.

Resident of Lugansk Eugene told that the main products in the city are still there, but they are more expensive, but many people have no money, because they have not been paid salaries and pensions. Banks also do not work in Lugansk for two weeks with no electricity. Water is also fed intermittently. Drugs, according to Eugene, a few still working pharmacies can find.

And a resident of the Snow (Donetsk region) Alex reported that there working pharmacies no while in the city remain at least 20 thousand people.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin urged NATO and the European Union to provide military support to Ukrainian law enforcers. According to him, Kiev intends to fight for the Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk to the last.
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin in an interview with German radio station Deutschlandfunk said that appealed to NATO and the European Union for military aid, according to Reuters.

"We need military aid. If we had it, then our troops would be easier to operate," - said Klimkin.
He added that the country in addition to the direct assistance needed financial support for the implementation of reforms. Klimkin said that debt Ukraine plans to return later.

As head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that NATO should adopt a new strategy for Ukraine. Klimkin said that he wanted to get away from the alliance political support, military aid, support for the reforms and the fight against terrorism and cyber security.

The diplomat added that Ukraine will fight for the Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk to the last. Klimkin also said that the military situation in Ukraine is not declared on the grounds that it would worsen the situation for the people - the military commanders on the ground will have to make their own decisions, and some laws cease to operate.

The entire situation is simultaneously laughable and disgusting. Poroshenko and his 'advisors' are desperately trying to demonize Putin and Russia to the entire world. To some extent the ire of Poroshenko and his Nazi-minded minions may be understandable: to them, Putin really did organise the 'repatriation' of Crimea, a part of Ukraine as they see it, and there's little they can do about it. Despite the fact that we may see this as a justified move, it's hard for them to see it that way. Land, and the expropriation of it, has been the source of genuine conflict throughout human history.

That said, in the case of Crimea, there is very little of the usual dynamics that historically provoke civil war, in particular, no one actually living on the land was dispossessed, and most of those still on it now as part of the Russian Federation are happy to be there. So I have some understanding for Kiev's hatred of Putin. The same understanding however cannot be extended to the US military and political advisers in Ukraine who are 'merely' pursuing their 20 year long unjustified attack on Russia's attempt to take its rightful place as a major world nation and they are coldly and deliberately exploiting Ukrainians to do so.

The really ridiculous thing is that, in terms of the unofficial rules of the game of international geopolitics, as 'written' by the West, Russia is fully entitled to send weapons, intelligence info and supplies to the separatists in East Ukraine under the aegis of "protecting their interests". In fact, Russia has a LOT of catching up to do if it is to ever come close to the level of US and Western 'meddling' in other nations. In fact, I don't think Russia could ever do so, because the US and Western European nations have been meddling in the affairs of other nations for centuries, and in nations in which they had and have no obvious interest, save the "interest" declared by all pathological regimes aspiring to global hegemony.

The only interest that Russia has been attempting to protect is their very justified strategic interest in their own back yard, involving millions of ethnic and Christian Russians no less! By modern standards, that's about a justified as it gets when it comes to "meddling in the affairs of another state". Does anyone think that the US would think twice about invading Mexico if several million US citizens were threatened there?

Unlike the US government promising WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant) style "Freedom and Democracy" to far off lands of dark-skinned Muslims and then surprising them with a civil war and disintegration of their country instead, Russia has shown no intention of forcibly bestowing "Slavic values" on anyone, and even those that expressly ask for it, like East Ukrainians, are frustrated by the very careful and patient maneuvers of Putin and Co.

While the U.S. Border is breeched with hundreds of illegal immigrants, the U.S. Federal Government is funding "a Security Fence between Ukraine and Crimea?"

The Federal Government Bought A Border Fence…For A Country Nearly 6,000 Miles Away
_http://www.ijreview.com/2014/08/168385-federal-government-just-bought-border-fence-country-nearly-6000-miles-away/

Saturday August 16, 2014

April, U.S. policymakers authorized a Crisis Support Package for Ukraine. While the White House had previously released information on what the package would cover, it wasn’t until Thursday that the government published a report detailing how the U.S. would help fund a project for a border fence to help separate Ukraine and Crimea.

From Fedbizopps.gov, here is a screenshot of the contract awarded: (Note - they spelled "Security" wrong!)

In addition, the order specifies that it will take care of the cost of 2,500 spools of concertina wire. The purpose of concertina wire is to prevent the passage of humans and animals.

Sure, there may be a border crisis in Ukraine, but we have one here at home as well. In 2013 alone, the United States Border Patrol reported on 414,397 illegal immigration apprehensions. However, opinion is split on whether those numbers are accurate because many illegal aliens are caught trying to cross more than once.

To throw more fuel on the fire, public officials and intelligence experts warn that the terror group ISIS could take advantage of our border security vulnerabilities and slip through undetected.

Lawmakers chose to help Ukraine with their border security as a preventive measure with Crimea. We can only ask that they afford us the same courtesy with our border, here at home.

The White House, Saturday August 16, 2014: "Mr. Putin, we're puttin' up this wall."

Absolutely agree with you, Perceval, thanks for putting things exactly as they are.

As for Poroshenko & Co's hatred of Russia, it would be understandable and justified in one case only: if they acted in the interests of their country. But obviously they do not. They had plenty of opportunities to stop this conflict and rule out the situation, but for well-known reasons they are just dragging Ukraine into even deeper degradation and disintegration.

By their stupid Nazi policy against ethnic Russians they provoked the annexation of Crimea themselves. And now they are doing just the same in the East. They don't need a peaceful and united Ukraine. Putin suggested it many times: just leave alone the people of the East, return them their rights and take into account their interests. Plain and simple. Russia doesn't want to split Ukraine or invade it - this idea exists in their inflamed imagination only.

Russia was going through the same turmoil in Chechnya, until Putin came and asked what they wanted. They said they wanted money. Okay, take your money and relax. Case closed. Why not doing the same in Ukraine? The people of SE don't even ask for money, all they want is peace and their ethnic rights reserved. But no, the Kiev puppets don't want to acknowledge that a huge part of their population are ethnic Russians. They want only Ukrainians. And why? Because their foreign masters want it to be so.

If Ukrainian government was independent, it could always compromise with the bigger players. As an example, let's take Belarus, Kazakhstan and others. Since the very collapse of the USSR, these post-Soviet countries still have the same strong and experienced leaders, with no fake-democracy 4-year president carousel there, who protect their national interests and manage to more or less effectively cooperate both with the East and the West. As a result, both countries show solid growth and development. Unlike Ukrainian puppets who change each other every 4 years and even faster now, both Lukashenko and Nazarbayev are the real national leaders who defend their national interests for over 20 years already. No color revolutions there.

And this is the biggest problem of Ukraine: they have no Putin (or Assad or Chavez). Until Kiev is governed by foreign powers through their puppets, nothing will change for the better. What they need is a strong national leader.

The corridor between the LPR and the DPR exists now. Krasny Luch has been freed up completely, except for a small part in the outskirts, a small Ukrainian forces unit. Lugansk has been rescued by the LPR forces. Together with the Lugansk forces, we have taken over Sverdlovsk. We took over Musinsk, we are holding Vakrushevo. So there is a direct road to Lugansk… I’d like to give you some good news. At present, moving towards the corridor, are… 150 items of military hardware, 30 of which are tanks and the rest are infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers.

This is supposed to be what he's talking about, not anything coming over the Russian border?
