There's this very interesting documentary in French about cold therapy:
Interesting because it give explanations about the underlying mechanic. I put it there to not lost it. I will translate the interesting sentences when I have a bit of time. I retained that under cold, the mitochondrions are forced to work so the effect.
I was thinking: mitochondrions/midi-chlorians (from the Star Wars universe). Perhaps some STO influence come in the movie here.
