Gov. DeWine signs bill prohibiting Ohio public schools, universities from requiring vaccinations​

COLUMBUS, Ohio —
Public schools and colleges in Ohio would be prohibited from requiring individuals to receive vaccines not granted full approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, under a bill targeting coronavirus vaccinations signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Mike DeWine.

The bill, to take effect in 90 days, would also prohibit individuals who don't receive emergency use vaccines from being denied the chance to participate in school activities such as sports.

The Republican governor signed the bill without comment, although a day earlier he said the FDA needs to move coronavirus vaccines from emergency use authorization to full approval as soon as possible. He said the emergency element is leading to vaccine hesitancy in the state.

“It is past time for the FDA to take into account that hundreds of millions of people have received these vaccines, and move it from an emergency basis over to a regular basis,” the governor said Tuesday. “That will help us, in Ohio and across the country, to get more people vaccinated.”

It's quite possible that the FDA will grant full approval before the 90 days are up at which point the vax can be mandated by public schools and universities. And that approval will undoubtedly greatly reduce hesitancy with more people choosing to get the vax - after all, if FDA approved, it must be safe and effective, right? But notice that although DeWine states hundreds of millions have been vaxxed, he doesn't mention any of the adverse events being experienced including death! The implication is the hundreds of millions got the shot and are just fine i.e. protecting themselves others from Covid. He really should have passed out complimentary Kool-Aid to any onlookers and slugged down a big glassful himself! And pity the public that is still tuning in to local news - the fear porn is over the top especially regarding the Delta variant - you're as good as dead if you don't get the shot! :evil: And according to Dr. Hoffe, you're as good as dead if you do!

I think he was amongst the first early last year to say that ventilation was the wrong approach to symptoms because it was pressurising lungs that were already under pressure.

This is something I have been pondering for a long while. I find it very strange that normal people do not find these covid, lockdown and pandemic oddities strange. There is a complete lack of awareness, analytical thinking and the desire to dig a little deeper to find out more information. Everyone is so accepting...it is scary.

I totally agree. Something seems to have changed and things have got a desperate feel about them. I too would have thought that their original aim was not to have the whole planet vaccinated but the largest majority they could manage. I would have imagined that 100% would have been beyond their wildest dreams. But they do seem to be going along those lines with the degree of coercion, threats of job loss etc. Perhaps there is something we are not seeing here which is scaring them. I sincerely hope so.

Holy mother of God and sweet Jesus! You need to watch this video! It begins as a mild case of "Oh, no another boring doctor video.. Maybe there are earth changes around a corner with one or more major events and they do no want those people running at them. Have in mind they have technology to see in the future and make adequate changes but I do not think it will still have much impact on them not getting roasted.
