The sanitary pass on medium and long distance buses will start to be implemented in the province of Buenos Aires as from Thursday, January 27, as confirmed by the provincial Minister of Transport, Jorge D'Onofrio.
The official had already anticipated the measure during the week, explaining that the aim was to encourage vaccination, since the complete scheme of two doses will be required in the middle of the third wave of the coronavirus in the country.
Finally, the Buenos Aires executive set a date for the implementation of the "Pase Libre Covid" as a requirement to travel in medium and long distance transport, a measure that had already been anticipated during the week by D'Onofrio when he explained that he would meet with his Health counterpart, Nicolás Kreplak, to adjust the details.
"It was published in the Official Gazette the extension of the health pass decree, requiring it in medium and long distance transportation," said the official of the Buenos Aires Transportation portfolio this morning in radio statements. He also specified with which passages it will start to be in force and talked about individual responsibilities.
