In the absence of a co-ordinated adjustment to exchange rates and a peaceful end to trade hostilities, the world could stumble into a cycle of competitive devaluations and tariff rises. As trading relationships unravel, countries may organise themselves into rival economic blocs. It is hard to imagine the world repeating such an ugly era of history. But not as hard as it used to be.

I have a feeling for myself, but it can also be wrong. As long as I watch Putin, his actions have been , never exaggerated. Russia has only a minor problem of 21,000 infections and 170 deaths with Corona - provided the numbers are correct. Suddenly Putin begins to get on the rails of the Europeans and USA purely rhetorically. Somehow I think he's playing a game just like Trump. What if both had decided something together? The evolution and the end of entropy. It would be an ingenious way to take the wind out of the deep state and sanctionists in the name of humanity. If both publicly announce that it is time to stop trade wars, sanctions, wars, and social imbalance, they would take the wind out of the counterpower. Who should dare to insist in the current situation on measures that harm the poor peoples even more. Perhaps an ingenious move by the two with unprecedented good consequences for the world. But maybe I'm just dreaming ...

What they have essentially created now with this hoax (in pretty much every country) is the establishment of a perfect blueprint and opportunity for every psychopathic individual on the planet to use this to create their own little „perfect world“, from the family level, right up the ladder through the city to the local/regional level, up to the government. Everywhere. It is the perfect time for psychopaths on every level to thrive. I bet in many regions (be they geographically small or big) psychopaths are currently rising up to the task and opportunity and use it to control, harass, imprison and kill normal people.

They have let the cat out of the bag with this one and in many regions it will be very hard for ordinary people to put that cat back again, fighting tooth and nail for getting back even just the smallest freedoms. Once you let tyrants loose and give them the perfect stage ground, it is very hard to stop them. From the family or local gestapo chief, right up the ladder in every sphere. Which also means that in many parts of the world people will likely be pushed pretty quickly to the brink of bloody revolutions.

The Romanian Interior Minister made a publicity stunt, going with a helicopter to pay homage to the tomb of a recently deceased nurse.



This might look like a nice gesture, but:

• it is illegal to go to the Cemetery except for funerals
• the nurse deceased due to a domestic accident, so not something Covid related, at least not directly

Basically just a lame publicity stunt. It appears that the entire World is lead by narcissists more interested in the image they project than in the common good, but they are lucky, a large portion of the population has been turned into followers on social media channels.

It's interesting that this significant development gets released in this fairly clandestine manner. Trump isn't tweeting about it, and there are no new MSM headlines referring to this either.

I'd wondered some time ago now why the Surgeon General wasn't weighing in on all this Coronavirus business. At that time I had to look him up, didn't at all recall who he even was, this Jerome Adams. So, it seems he's been busy collecting "real" data so that the president could proceed with opening up the country with some confidence that he wasn't making a very dangerous blunder concerning human life.

Pretty smart approach: use the [absent] Surgeon General to quietly get around the predictive contagion models being utilized by his own task force, as per Fauci and the CDC. Then, when the data's ready, make your move.

I only saw excerpts of yesterday's White House press conference, but I made sure to see how Fauci was fairing after Trump's #FireFauci retweet. On that end of things, I'd say a case could be made that Fauci seemed "diminished," speaking far more cautiously about things while deferring to the president concerning the economic aspects of our present situation, sort of as cover for his diminished position. He spoke of how the opening up of the country would be gradual, what he termed "a rolling re-entry," based on the virus' impact on differing cities and regions. So, it seems he's had to reluctantly agree to Trump's present agenda. Of course, the new battleground will no doubt have to do with just how they go about "exercising caution" in proceeding along this path. As always, the devil resides in all the many details.

But, to get back to this momentous story Jones posted, it had me thinking about our living in a time in which we've all been witnessing an insidious onslaught against the "real," and these predictive models (whether about contagion or global warming or any number of other things) have proved to be a very effective propaganda tool toward that malignant end. So, Trump's maneuvering here, in the name of "real" data, is highly significant, even symbolic, even if he's motivated by a much more pragmatic goal: that of hopefully saving, or even turning around (according to his own optimistic rhetoric) a severely damaged country and economy.

As others have mentioned, it is really interesting to watch how people react to this crisis. I am refering to the concept of authoritarian followers and such. A person who I would like to highlight is David Paulides from Missing 411. His great depth of humanity was on show for his fellow Americans in a video I watched. I am not so pessimistic. The fact is that all the pathological deviants were already in place before this show started. The difference is that they have now dropped the masks and shown their true nature for all to see. The massive economic and social harm not to mention the mental and physical health problems that these draconian measures have caused and continue to cause will be to their disadvantage. They have overplayed their hand and there will be a very strong backlash from this. Tensions are building and building below the surface and the more storm troopers and goons they send on to the streets, the greater the anger.

They will not be able to get the genie back in the bottle. The memory of who caused the hardship that people are suffering now and will be suffering for a long time will be remembered as the truth leaks out. United in suffering comes to mind, but that unitedness will also be what the rulers fear the most as they have tried to divide people for decades and not least since 9/11 The division has been a consequence of the destruction of the social fabric, the nuclear family and Christianity in the last century and then turbocharged with postmodernism, SJW and identity politics. As with everything, things go to an extreme after which the pendulum starts going in the other direction. Much pain and suffering will unfold but the balance will be shifting.

It shows a history of him being "inserted" in various positions, although there has been no prior or formal training corresponding to the job title. This following paragraph describes his ambitions perfectly. I can understand "why" Trump cut funds to WHO.
