So lets put all related topics into that section to get a permanent overview about promotional activities, give it more attention like 'Whats On Your Mind' or bigger?

Another thing that just came to my mind: We could also promote certain Sott-articles individually, posing an intelligent and intriguing question referring to the exact link-adress of that article. We could put this on a web-banner, flyer or sticker, so that the interested person may find the answer or at least find some food for thought.

With all the wonderful ideas and designers here, this may seems a little boring but I wanted to collect all the logo's that were really important and put them together in one place. It is a little big for a bumper sticker but can be resized for different things.

It's easy to make stickers using Word. You can pick up printing paper used to make labels in stores.

Thank you! I also thought about how post cards can be useful as well. Maybe providing the exact links to the sites on the back with a mission statement about what it is all about and who the main contributors are. Another idea is to make bookmarks similar to the post cards because they seem to come in real handy with all the reading that is suggested:) Just a thought.

I think this can be quite an effective way of promotion because you ask the observer to interact with your small poster, wherass if they are interested they will pull of one of the SOTT signs and take it with them.

That's perfect! That's the message that explains everything. And just as important, I think are practical applications of that core truth need to be cued in peoples' minds, like a bumper sticker in my parking lot that says, "Don't Believe Everything You Think" or maybe something like this:

I made 5 printable a4 formats, one with EE, two for SOTT, two for political ponerology , you can print them easily and put them up everywhere you like :D , make sure though that you use a scissor to cut the logo's partly so that people can rip them off easily and take it with them.

I've been thinking about how to better spread the word about SOTT and thought that people might be more inclined to share images on facebook than articles. Basically my idea was to make simple images with quotes that might be meaningful and/or funny (trying to mimic images that become viral memes--most seem to be funny or snarky) that feature SOTT prominently in them--perhaps non readers will share them and/or become readers? I'm not sure this tactic would be helpful.

I created this one image using a borrowed phrase from a meme that was shared on facebook recently (I forget the name of the meme creator--"my ee cards", I think?), but would probably want to use other quotes and phrases so as not to be ripping off ones from other places.

Does anyone think that this approach would be fruitful? If so, if people have quotes or blurbs I can put them into images or upload a template for people to make their own images. Other thoughts and suggestions are welcome!
