Detoxification: Heavy Metals, Mercury and how to get rid of them

Mercury Contamination and the Flu

The climate is changing. Not only the weather, which is getting colder and more volatile, but the human climate on emotional, social and spiritual levels is changing and certainly not for the best. The economics of life is getting harder and adults and children are suffering with more going hungry all the time. The very climate of life shifted after 9/11 and its unending war in the wind and increasing government control and deceit – but the average person is still going about their business thinking everything is going to be ok. Well sorry but the truth is it isn’t.

The below information about mercury and the flu was prepared a few weeks ago when the swine flu was the rage. Has anyone noticed how quickly news of the pandemic disappeared as global warming news appeared because of the Copenhagen summit? The climate that is changing the most is an advancing bioaccumulating mass of mercury pollution, which is literally contaminating everything on the planet. It’s mercury that is the real danger coming out of the smokestacks of the industrialized world not CO2 but the people up on top do not want the public focused on one of the greatest threats to human well being that exists.

The sky has cleared substantially, and the sea looks amazingly calm, given what we’ve just been through in a financial and economic sense as well as ‘pandemically’ speaking. But it’s not over yet so don’t be fooled and don’t let your guard down. With mercury being invisible (unless it’s in solid or liquid form) we don’t see it coming but it is accumulating as massive amounts are put each day into the environment. Life looks good perhaps but there is a catastrophe being ignored with false flag scares, which are the only big thing in the news.

With growing concerns about the effects of global
warming on polar bears, it’s increasingly important to
understand how other environmental threats, such as mercury
pollution, are affecting these magnificent Arctic animals.[1]

It’s impossible for the government to be honest about mercury pollution because they themselves sponsor injecting mercury directly into the blood stream with their flu vaccines and the government still supports its use in dentistry no matter how dangerous it is. Doctors and dentists have a hard time coming clean about their public betrayal but why are high school teachers and administration officials getting on board with this? Look at the climate of life through this young mans eyes, a student who chose to hand out literature in his high school warning about the dangers of the thimerosal vaccines to be given at his school recently. He was assaulted for it by one of his teachers demonstrating how deep the rabbit hole goes when it comes to the mercury and vaccine issue.

The maker of the vaccine, Sanofi-Aventis, voluntarily[2]
recalled 800,000 doses of low-dose, thimerosal-free vaccine in
prefilled syringes intended for infants ages 6 months to 35 months.

Please go to my new site on mercury toxicity and know that this is a problem we just cannot ignore. Know that the government does not want the public to treat. The CDC will never admit that massive mercury contaminations from multiple sources, including the vaccines, which are seriously compromising peoples’ overall health by collapsing the sensitive sulfur bonds in insulin and many other large proteins. Chronic mercury exposure is a threat to our health and makes us especially vulnerable to flu infections.

An interesting new edition to the connection between the flu, mercury and the destruction it does to proteins was just recently provide by U.S. researchers who have discovered antiviral proteins in cells that naturally fight off influenza infections. They said a family of genes acts as cell sentries that guard cells from an invading influenza virus. “If you get rid of it (the protein), the virus can replicate 5 to 10 times faster. What that means is your cells have a mechanism that can block 80 to 90 percent of the virus that gets in,” said Dr. Stephen Elledge of Harvard Medical School and a Howard Hughes Investigator at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. The researchers showed that if they make the cell overproduce the protein, they become more resistant to the flu. “If you crank it up, it really shuts down the flu,” he said. There is no better way to get rid of these protective types of proteins than injecting the body with more mercury.

Go to this site to view other pictures of the devastating pollution in China; and the worst part you cannot really see is the story of mercury emissions, which have polluted the entire earth. The two main sources of pollutants in urban areas are transportation (predominantly automobiles) and fuel combustion in stationary sources, including residential, commercial, and industrial heating and cooling and coal-burning power plants.

Thiol poisons, especially mercury and its compounds, reacting with
SH groups of proteins lead to the lowered activity of various enzymes
containing sulfhydryl groups. This produces a series of disruptions
in the functional activity of many organs and tissues of the organism’.
Professor I.M. Trakhtenberg

Most of us have no idea that, “Chronic mercury exposure is also a threat to our health and makes us especially vulnerable to flu infections. It has been shown that “prolongedexposure of mammals (white mice) to low mercury concentrations (0.008 – 0.02mg/m3) leads to a significant increase in the susceptibility of mice topathological influenza virus strains. This is shown by more severe course ofinfection. In the experimental group more mice died (86 – 90.3 %) than inthe unexposed animals (60.2 – 68 %), additionally the experimental groupdied more quickly. The significant difference was in the appearance and degree of pneumonia in the effected animals,” wrote Dr. I. M. Trakhtenbergin Chronic Effects of Mercury on Organisms.[3]

“Blood elements such as WBCs, RBCs, hemoglobin, and bone marrow are adversely affected. With tissue proteins there is alteration of biological properties and protein synthesis. Enzyme; hormone; and endocrine functions of pituitary, adrenal, thyroid, ovaries, and testes are altered. There are pathological effects on the heart, liver, immune system, central nervous system, lungs, kidneys, and spleen,” continues Dr. Trakhtenberg.

Concentrations will often produce those
pathological changes without visible evidence of
micromercurialism, on a background of apparent health.
Professor I.M. Trakhtenberg

By 2034, nearly twice as many Americans will have diabetes
and spending on the disease will triple but that will not motivate
the government to mandate that appropriate technology be
applied to prevent mercury emissions from blanketing the public.

And how do we ever trust an organization like the FDA, which will not warn the public about the dangers of mercury containing dental amalgam no matter how much cancer, diabetes and neurological diseases the mercury fumes from the fillings leach directly into the lungs? This entire influenza, swine flu/respiratory pandemic is happening against a backdrop of an increasingly weakening population who become, in medical terms, accidents just waiting to happen. Respiratory distress is directly related to the entire spectrum of toxins whether heavy metal or complex chemicals fabricated for modern convenience. Pulmonary toxicity caused by acute exposure to mercury vapor has been demonstrated in animal studies.[4]

People with autoimmune disorders have heavy metal toxicity and up to 40 million Americans suffer from autoimmune disease [Stephen Edelson MD and Deborah Mitchell, What your Doctor May Not Tell You About Autoimmune Disorders]. Of that number, about 75% are women, making it the fourth largest cause of disability in women.

Autoimmune disease is one of the top 10 leading causes of death in female children and women in all age groups up to 64 years of age.

Researchers have identified 80-100 different autoimmune diseases and suspect at least 40 additional diseases of having an autoimmune basis. These diseases are chronic and can be life-threatening.

I have recently added ALA to my supplements and am a little bit surprised that I can take 300 mg without any noticeable side effects. It seems that my previous mercury detox measures were quite successful and my mercury levels very low. Otherwise I would most probably get brain fog and other detox symptoms from the ALA. After removal of my amalgame fillings I started with three rounds of chlorella and cilantro and this year I switched to a MSM/Vitamin C combination. It must have been a good idea to detox the organs first and only then add ALA for the brain detox.

As I mentioned in another thread I found a website with some information on mercury detox mostly about the Cutler protocol. There it says ALA should be discontinued for at least three months after amalgam removal as it crosses the blood-brain barrier and is too risky after an acute mercury exposure.

Question about Oats

Hi, I would like to ask something. I apologize if this was already covered elswehere on the forum, I couldnt find anything.

What is your experience with oats?
I cannot imagine eating anything else for breakfast.
Normally I just rinse whole oats in some water, after which they become mushy and then I add some local carob syrup, ground lin seed and some berry yougurt. This is my typical breakfast which I find to be nourishing and filling until 2 pm regardless whether I do a heavy workout in the gym or intense cardio session in addition to my working day.
Also I found oats to be excellent bowel movement regulator.

I was under the impression oats do not contain gluten, but after reading about this on the net it seems this issue is not so cut and dry.
I noticed Laura mentioned oatmeal so I was wondering, how often do you eat oats and generally what is your stance on them.

I am type 0 and was thinking of switching completely to proper paleo diet after xmas, but I am sure oats did not have any place in hunter gatherer's diet.
Any other solution for breakfast? Cannot eat savoury brekfast so lentils and egs are out of the question.

Thanks.

If you search for dairy in the forum threads, you might change your mind about that yogurt ;)

Also, oats do contain gluten.

For better breakfast alternative, nutritious and yummy and easy to prepare, check out the Buckwheat pancakes and Crepes thread. I also make a bunch of them and keep them in the refrigerator to have everyday with organic, grape juice sweetened blueberry jam.

I am familiar with those.
If you check out earlier Laura's posts you will notice that she does recommend some dairy - such as yogurt, cream, and butter - for people who tolerate these well.

According to what I read so far oats per se do not contain glutein. The problem is contamination due to crop rotation.

thanks for suggesting crepes - I will look into this.

I think that was probably pretty early on in the thread. At this point it's become obvious that all dairy is 'evil' - so if you really want to clear out your machine, dairy has to go. (sorry to be the bearer of bad news...)

Yeah, dairy has to go. That impression was from D'Adamo's "blood type" thing. At this point, after some experimentation, research, testing, we are pretty well convinced that nobody ever should consume dairy unless they are starving. And that's probably why some people adjusted at some point in history to be able to do that, but it came at a price. It's not the fat that is bad, it is the milk proteins and sugars. So butter is generally okay (so far) but Ghee is better because ALL the proteins/milk solids have been removed and it is just pure fat.

As for oats, I would say eliminate them for awhile and see how you feel (also have to eliminate all other evil foods for the "test") and then reintroduce them and see how you react. Remember, a sensitivity reaction can occur several days after ingesting the food so you need to wait at least 3 days and observe if you have aches, pains, allergic reactions, itches, sneezing, phlegm, or whatever. Psyche can give you a better list of what to look for since she has very delayed reactions; mine are pretty fast... within hours.

Hi CM,

I used to love having oatmeal for breakfast and when I read that it contains gluten, I was crushed.

I started eating Quinoa instead. However, it is rather light and airy and non-filling for me. A friend suggested eating Amaranth. It is much more robust than Quinoa and I like it better than oatmeal. :) You can eat it with rice or hemp milk if desired and sweeten it with stevia or xylitol if you like.

It's reaaly rather yummy. I put cacao nibs in mine. Good for the brain, ya know. ;)

thanks for your input guys. yes anart -you are always the bearer of bad news :P

I am not even sure if amaranth is available locally - will have to check

Other reactions may include digestive problems, or you can get swollen, your gums can get sensitive, a person may have mood problems (anxiety, crankiness, etc.) It can be pretty sneaky.

I like the taste of oatmeal too. I can eat it plain. I thought also that it didn't naturally contain gluten and it was just cross contamination. There are gluten free oats too. Bob's Red Mill has them, fwiw.

I haven't been eating dairy either. I've recently been using ghee, and I guess I'll continue staying away from butter even if it's not so bad. You can make your own ghee basically by boiling butter and sifting the milk solids.

Regarding reaction symptoms, it seems I very often get phlegm after eating. I used to think it was just when I ate spicy foods, but I haven't been eating anything spicy, so I'm wondering what I might be reacting to because I'm not eating anything evil.

Finally, he told us about something called "Miracle Mineral Supplement" for those plagued with candida, parasites, etc. Have a look here: http://mmsmiracle.com/ and here: http://www.blogcatalog.com/blogs/miracle-mineral-supplement-mms-by-jim-humble.html

I bought two bottles of this liquid about a year ago and it works amazingly well.

My one concern is the strong 'chlorine' smell and taste which develops when it is combined with the lemon juice and (in my preference) organic pear juice.

I have not used it for afew months because of this reason.

Any views on this would be really appreciated.

Hi Stellar,

There is some info in those threads about MMS:

http://www.cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?topic=14556.0

Perso, instead of taking 6 drops at the same time, I take 2 drops every hour during 3 or 4 hours. It is the new recommendation of Jim Humble. Doing that, you do not have the strong chlorine smell.

Brilliant info. Thank you very much.
I have just had one amalgam filling removed and have one more to remove in two weeks time.
Dental procedures are very expensive so I am very excited to finally be able to remove the main source of my mercury poisoning.
Will keep you posted of any changes I may experience in my detox as a result of these procedures.

Edited to fix the quotations boxes.

Here's an eat-your-medicine recipe I found years ago for heavy metal detox. Sorry I don't have the Dr's web address; I had it bookmarked on a computer that crashed a few years ago. but I recall he tested this pesto on his patients, taking UA before and after ingestion and testing urine for presence of heavy metals.
I recall that his results were very impressive showing that the post ingestion urine samples had markedly increased levels of heavy metals.
Parsley, which is also a great tonic for the kidneys, works well at chelating heavy metals, and could replace cilantro in recipe below, but of course, gives it a different taste.

Mercury Chelation Pesto

1 clove garlic
1/2 c. almonds, cashews, or walnuts (unsprayed or organic)
note: soaking these for 24 hours and rinsing make these more digestible and "fresh" tasting, especially for those who get cankers from the tannins
1 c. packed fresh cilantro leaves
2 T. lemon juice (lime juice also works well with cilantro...)
6 T Olive oil

Process in blender or processor until medium thick paste forms. You can change the consistency by altering the amount of olive oil and lemon juice,
but keep the 3:1 ratio of oil to juice.
If I use parsley instead of cilantro, I'll toss in a big bunch of fresh basil, (and stick to the lemon) to make it more palatable.

This freezes well, so you can make several batches at once and freeze in small canning jars or ice cube trays depending on your preferred portion size.

eat at least 1 to 2 T. of pesto twice daily;
easy and delicious way to use:
sandwich/wrap spread
toss with warm rice, pasta or cooked white beans
mix with warmed artichoke hearts and/or mash to make dip for crudites or toast (basil/parsley goes best with this combo)
add a dash of balsamic vinegar and toss with chopped tomatoes for a bruschetta type spread or dressing (basil/ parsley recommended)
add a couple Tablespoonfuls of cilantro/lime type with chopped tomatillos, chopped green onions and salt for a awesome salsa verde topping for beans/rice or
other Mexican style dishes.
thin to use as a dressing for salads, or anything else you may think it would compliment.
Note: use in its fresh ( or thawed frozen) state, don't cook or simmer.

I never seem to put enough of this up for the winter months because it compliments so many dishes and we tend to eat just as much of it as we store away.

Hope you find this a healthy and tasty as we have.
