Do you think you've ever been abducted?

Maybe some of us suspect of being abducted but never really had a way to confirm it?
I have no reason to think I have and there is certainly no way to prove/disprove either way. Right now I really don't care. There are more pressing issues with the 3D psychoes and narcissists keeping me on my toes wherever I go.
Agree. I think I've been but really, how can I confirm it?

LOL I hope I will never confirm that.

By the way Cesar, if you want to know more about abductions I recommend you to read High Strangeness entirely.

I cannot be sure but my gut feeling is that something strange happened a bit over a year ago. I was driving very late at night in the country and I remember looking at the clock to guesstimate how long before I would be home. I knew that I would very soon have to make a really well signposted turn off and from that point it is an hour to get home. I can honestly tell you I was wide wide awake.

I completely missed the turn off and just kind of came to feeling quite disorientated and confused but still driving along. I looked at the clock and saw that 25 minutes had passed. That period of time is a blank to me. Like everyone I have had periods of daydreaming and not quite recalling what just happened. This occurrence was very different to that. I do not have any evidence that I did not just go into some sort of daydream other than to say I have a real gut feeling that something happened and it left me not feeling good at all.

I did not post about it at the time because I thought there are no answers to be had. I used it as an exercise to control my emotions and just get on with it.

It's definitely smart to not make a big deal over experiences that can't be substantiated. And yeah, it takes some self control to not post about experiences of this nature I can imagine... but like I said I think it can be wise. Not to say that certain experiences aren't worthy of calm introspection...

reading your post has me recall a book a read a year or so ago which details a similar case you describe. The guy however, had the memory of seeing a black triangle UFO (I guess preceding the abduction). And this causes him to seek hypnotherapy. He was already working with a hypnotherapist, but they decide to focus on this drive home that occurred in the early morning.

A lot of it is regressive work. and eventually he is able to recall that he had gone to bed and seen 4 am on the clock. not 2 am that he had thought. meaning there was 2 hours of missing time. This guy wrote the book over many years and used logs of his recorded hypnosis sessions. He eventually recalls a lot of abduction experiences, starting from child-hood.

I'm not suggesting your case is at all similar, just in the drive / missing time part. but this book affected me deeply and it still does. Sometimes I want to forget about the entire phenomenon. but this guy's story stays in my head. and I can't dismiss his experience of reality. And I guess it can be useful to process because it reinforces this idea that we are in a prison, so to speak.

Your post of-course just brought back some of my feelings from reading this book... so I kind of had to respond. So I am not sure exactly what to say. except that you have added data to the pool in my mind of abduction-like occurrences.

It could be interesting to search for UFO sightings in your town the night the experience occurred. but where would you go from there? it is your experience and I don't seek to intrude on it.

Hi Cesar, your feeling's of these experience's are perhaps typical to the question's of what happen, why, by what, and for what, does it all really represent. Fear not, there is only so much that one do can to protect ones self from this agenda, knowledge. The knowledge i mean is that your are aware. The knowledge that being aware limit's the damage associated with the trauma of the abduction experience.

I don't mean to down grade any ones post regarding this topic , as each, and everyone experience, personal views, are unique, and torch's on a sensitive subject, considering what is done during the abduction encounter.

Abduction's are some what similar, but each experience is quite unique, and very personal. So it takes some courage to talk about it, and forum it, to grasp what is really happening. This may help one to acquirer the necessary knowledge, which helps to limit the possible damage, that some people have experienced, and never really recoup do to a lack of true knowledge of what is happening.

Classic symptoms, ( side effects ) have been discussed in the research of the abduction scenario, can and may include PTSD, alcoholism, promiscuity, anger, fear of certain sounds, drug addictions, violence, disintegrating relationships, physical and mental health issues, to name just a few obvious signs from the fallout from this activity.

This why it is so important to have read "The Wave Series" as recommended by the Moderators, when you first joined the forum. And if you have, i recommend rereading it a again, and marry it to your thoughts of your perceptions of possible encounters. This may help you to grasp the knowledge, being given, that has been painstakingly, put together since it's inception of the cassiopaean's since in 1994.

Cesar, in addressing your opening post I would say that my life has been punctuated by various strange events previous to coming to SOTT. A time in my life came where I felt like I really needed to look into "things" and SOTT gave me the answers that made sense to me.

It took me awhile to get the gist of this forum and it's purpose. That being a research forum and focussed on The Work. I think then that high strangeness whilst certainly acknowledged as being real, is not focussed on because it can distract someone from The Work. This is just my opinion.

In some ways I think that strange phenomena are part of the price you have to pay for the truth.
