Thanks for the above links, I found the thinktwice.com site particularly helpful. Still, I cannot say that I find many MD's calling for investigating the damage caused by vaccines. There does seem to be a growing concern and opposition by MD's for government mandated vaccinations such as here, but its probably no surprise, the most vocal activists seem to be chiropractors (as you've said), PHD's and medical researchers. After a general search, the main advocates I've found who are at the very least, cautioning against the negative effects of vaccines are:
Stephanie Cave, MD who wrote What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Your Children's Vaccinations, Dr. Tim O'Shea (Doctor of Chiropractic) who wrote, The Sanctity of Human Blood: Vaccination is Not Immunization, Dr. Sherry Tenpenny who wrote Vaccines: The Risks, The Benefits, and The Choices, Mary Tocco, an independent vaccine investigator, Barbara Lowe Fisher, president of the National Vaccine Information Center, and Neil Z Miller, medical research journalist, publisher of the New Atlantean Publishing, the director of the Thinktwice Global Vaccine Institute, esoteric cosmologist (see below), and author of numerous articles and books on vaccines. This is by no means an exhaustive list and if anyone has someone to add to it, please do post it.

As a member of the ISI-S Society, a group "founded with the aim of bringing together intelligent individuals who also value creativity", he is working on a project to "define the various layers of affective, cognitive and physical manifestations that occur when solar archetypes form critical junctures with human volition, and establish the rudiments of a new living science substantiating a link between the Pythagorean concept of Divine Number, Platonic Ideals, and the Keplerian notion that celestial harmonies and perfect ratios unify God and humanity".
