Seismic swarm in the Gulf of California, Mexico.
According to information from the National Seismological Service (SSN), there have been at least 11 earthquakes greater than magnitude 4 in the Gulf of California, Mexico in less than 24 hours
The tremors were located south of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora; as well as San Felipe, Baja California and Baja California Sur.
The last earthquake occurred at 8:48 p.m. with a magnitude of 4.1 and with an epicenter 158 kilometers south of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora: its focal depth was 13 kilometers.
