WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MAY 05_2025

Strong earthquake magnitude 6.0 occurred in the South Pacific Ocean 918 km (570 mi) from Chile.

M 6.0 - southern East Pacific Rise

In the following image we can see how the energy is moving.

For the analyst Jesus Ramos this is bad news for Chile since the energy is not being released towards the South Sandwich Islands, so in the worst case, an earthquake between magnitude 7.5 and 8.0 could be expected in the south of Chile, while for the north of Chile and central Peru an earthquake of up to magnitude 6.8 could happen.

On the other hand, Mexico could be shaken by an M5+ earthquake in the area from Michoacan to Puerto Escondido Oaxaca. The worst scenario in this case would be up to magnitude 6.4.

The region from southeastern Mexico (Chiapas) to Panama could expect a worst-case M5.5 earthquake.

This last week 5 earthquakes of M6+ and one M7.4 were registered.

The next critical planetary geometries involving Mercury, Venus, Mars & Saturn will occur on May 07
2025-05-04-overview.png

The SSGEOS forecast gives a 60% probability for an earthquake of up to magnitude 6.4.

After May 07 we could see a generalized seismic increase, especially around May 09 given the planetary geometries involving Mercury, Venus, Neptune & Uranus.

A strong magnitude 5.8 earthquake hit 25 km (15 mi) away from San Cristobal de las Casas, Estado de Chiapas, Mexico, in the early morning (02:28 am local time) of Monday, May 5. The earthquake occurred at a considerable depth of 260 meters.

Analyst Jesús Ramos' forecast was accurate.
The region from southeastern Mexico (Chiapas) to Panama could expect a worst-case M5.5 earthquake.

No aftershocks have been recorded so far. According to Volcanodiscovery the earthquake was the strongest to hit this part of Mexico in over 8 yyears. This region has the potential to generate M8+ earthquakes.

I can cross earthquake off the list of things I've never experienced. Got woken up this morning to one. Not the most pleasant feeling :lol:Very rare for the southeast US.

This one was felt across a decent portion of Tennessee, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Looks to be a 4.1

According to Volcanodiscovery this quake was the strongest to hit this part of Mexico in over 25 years. It is very rare, in fact it has not happened, that an earthquake greater than magnitude 5.0 occurs in this region.

Will there be an earthquake in the Oklahoma region as predicted by analyst Jesús Ramos? Oklahoma is the fulcrum between two seismic events M5.6 in New Mexico and M4.1 in Tennessee.

● Earthquake forecast May 14 to 22, 2025
updated 13 May 2025, 14:33 UTC
A convergence of lunar geometry with the Sun (Full Moon) and Uranus on 12-13 May can reuslt in stronger seismic activity, possibly peaking later on the 13th and 14th. A sequence of very critical planetary conjunctions from 15 to 19 May can result in very strong to major seismic activity with one or two earthquakes potentially in the high 6 to 7 magnitude range. A magnitude 8+ earthquake is possible. SSGEOS

On May 14 planetary geometries involving Mercury and Venus with Mars and Uranus will occur, this is critical. According to Frank Hoogerbeets the last time Mercury and Venus converged at the same time a 7.8 earthquake occurred in Turkey.

Other critical geometries to occur on the 15th include Mercury, Sun, Mars and Moon, Earth, Jupiter, while the 16th will see Sun, Mercury, Saturn. All of these geometries occur in a very narrow period of time, even up to May 19. As a result an earthquake ≥M8.0 may occur in the worst case.
