It took around 16 hours to break the seismic silence, and this occurred in Waingapu Indonesia with a magnitude of 5.0. It is in the Kermadec Islands region where something seems to be brewing. Three strong earthquakes have occurred.

The second strong earthquake recorded this week. This event occurred in the north of the Anatolian Plate, specifically in an area influenced by the North Anatolian Fault (NorNAF), one of the most active transform faults in the world.
