French Government Denies Report Of "Several Ebola Cases"; Outbreak Accelerates At Fastest Pace Yet

Last week we noted the 'exponential' nature of the cases (and deaths) from Ebola. This week, according to the latest death and case counts from the WHO - the trend has got exponential-er - with 69 new cases and 52 new deaths in the last 2 days. With health workers dying at a fast clip too, it is little surprise that rumors of an outbreak in France were quickly denied by the government. As FranceTV reports, Patrick Balkany, citing "reliable medical sources" claimed that that "several cases [Ebola] have been reported on the French territory." The Ministry of Health rapidly denied any cases of infection in France.

As FranceTV reports (via Google Translate),

He cites "reliable medical sources" but does not specify which ones. In a statement published on its website, Patrick Balkany says that "several cases [Ebola] have been reported on the French territory. "

"So I asked the minister today, in a written question to be published in Official Journal in the coming days, kindly tell me how many cases with Ebola virus have so far been identified in France " , thus commend the deputy mayor of Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de- Seine).
Contacted by The Scan of Figaro , elected UMP confirmed his remarks. "The ministry was informed by my sources and it is still curious that we do not have response."

The Ministry of Health has also denied any cases of infection in France.

for what it's worth.

He cites "reliable medical sources" but does not specify which ones.

Well that certainly inspires confidence.

It's interesting to see how the government and the media are playing the ebola stories, lots of media attention about how rapidly it's spreading and 'uncontrollable' it is and yet we have this instance of reported cases being denied by government officials.

It's almost as if governments want to scare the public while still seeming in control of things.

So the old preacher that Spain brought in Madrid and who costed more than one million Euros, died this morning. The strange thing is that till this morning, this old preacher was going well. No problem. He was recovering.

LIARS!!!!

In the Islands they are preparing a protocol for people that work in airports or ports in vue of Ebola. The situation here can be risky: there are, lately, many boat people that are arriving at the coasts. Not just here in the Canarian Isles but at the Spain Coasts (Cadiz). Boat people that come from West Africa.

I understand that the purpose of your post may just have been that, but the purpose of my post was to highlight the possibility that maybe this was one of those *signs* from the universe which you may not have interpreted had you not posted here.

What "signs" are you talking about? Again, i was sharing an experience, but instead of the content of my post being addressed, I instead get accused of "escapism."

I am trained in psychology. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with *occasional* escapism. Still, I deny I was "escaping" at all, but rather doing something I enjoy. I understand some of you have issues with video games, and some of those issues are very well founded. However, I find it more than annoying that I'm assumed to somehow be avoiding reality by taking a 30-minute break to play a game. If I were in the habit of spending hours upon hours with online video games, rather than the half an hour once a month that I typically do, I might agree with you.

I am not sure what is meant by this comment, would you care to elaborate?

Not really.

However, I guess I have to explain this this is known as humor, but unless you're old enough to have heard this phrase on TV over and over again in past years, you probably won't get it.

Alkhemist, if you will take a breath here (and everybody else, for that matter), just notice that what people are saying to you is out of concern. And that concern is based on some things the Cs said recently that strike a deep chord in those who see that time is rapidly running out for everybody here on the BBM.

Now, if you had prefaced your story with: "I don't do this very often, in fact, maybe only half an hour at a time when I've been concentrated for a long time, and then only once ever two weeks, or two times a week, or whatever," I think the anxious concern FOR YOU would not have been so intense.

Oddly enough, this is a variation of the principle discussed in a study that was shared in the cognitive psychology thread: psychological study - "To change attitudes, don't argue — agree, extremely" https://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,35582.0.html

I think it should be a lesson to everyone here that unless the person is asking for a mirror, it really isn't polite to make assumptions and give dire warnings. Just ask for details and fill in the blanks with facts given.

Now, having said all that, I DO think that what is going on in that video game is furiously interesting. We do need to keep our fingers on the pulse of all kinds of things: it's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it.

Thank you, Laura, I appreciate the support.

Part of my irritation today is due to, believe it or not, the death of Robin Williams. It was a personal tragedy to me (I've been a fan of his genius and his enormous generous heart since the 70's), and today I have seen many thoughtless comments online about what I knew to be a wonderful human being. It's been the latest in a long line of sad world news that I attempt to keep up with daily.

As a person with depression myself, I have learned to take care of myself to avoid going down too far down that deep, dark road. Part of taking care of myself means taking "meaningless" breaks once in a while to allow the emotions to become centered again. I had felt that this would be a good place to share about my attempt to find some temporary peace, as well as to share my frustration at how even that was taken away. And more importantly, I wanted to make others here aware of how insidious the control system has become.

I check the transcript section for new info from the C's daily, and have for years, but I didn't join this forum until recently. I, too, have a feeling that things are ramping up quickly. I have studied all the transcripts, read the Wave series, and most of the pages on the website. I've read several of Laura's books, and I check SOTT daily, as well. But I'm feeling myself wishing there were more sessions being done regarding questions about current events rather than personal questions. I'm longing for more of the guidance that they offer.

We have a small group here that meets at least once a month in order to keep us all up to date on the REAL news. My mate and I hope to be in a position to help others when the SHTF, but we're not sure how we're going to be doing that yet. We've been wondering if we're in a safe place (Lancaster, PA) or if we should bug out.

Any suggestions along this line would be most welcome.

Here an interesting article about this Ebola and the situation in Africa by Richard Preston, the author of The Hot Zone.

I just had the feeling that it was as much the global situation as anything with Robin.

StormCloudsGathering posted the following on his FB page, which I thought was an interesting observation:

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The CDC has now admitted that the Ebola virus can travel through air, but they made that admission in a very sneaky and hard to find manner. The following statement is added as a footnote at the very bottom of the page:
"Casual contact is defined as a) being within approximately 3 feet or within the room or care area for a prolonged period of time while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment or having direct brief contact (e.g., shaking hands) with an EVD case while not wearing recommended personal protective equipment."
http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/hcp/case-definition.html

The implication of this statement is very, very clear: Ebola does in fact travel through the air. This is critical information and it should be highlighted in large letters on every page, but instead it is tucked away in fine print where many won't look. Given the fact that the CDC previously was running infographic campaigns claiming that Ebola does not travel through the air (we uploaded an example in this new update) this is highly irresponsible on their part.

Hat tip to The Pontiac Tribune for making us aware of this information in their article on the topic. That's some REAL journalism there. If you aren't already following these guys, be sure to follow them.

Ebola deaths skyrocket: 56 dead in two days – total cases near 2,000 mark

http://news.sky.com/story/1318129/ebola-outbreak-56-people-dead-in-two-days

There have been 56 more deaths in a 48-hour period in West Africa’s Ebola outbreak, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,069. The vast majority of deaths have been in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. There have also been three deaths in Nigeria, following the worst-ever outbreak which began in March. In the two days to August 11, there were 128 new cases, meaning a total of 1,975, according to the World Health Organization. Many of the dead are health workers, who are often working with inadequate supplies and protection. Among the victims is the first European – a Spanish priest who died on Tuesday in a Madrid hospital after being infected while treating Ebola patients in Liberia. Several hundred mourners have attended a funeral service for missionary Miguel Pajares in the capital. The 75-year-old man was cremated shortly after he died and his ashes were taken in an urn in a black hearse to the chapel of San Rafael hospital. He had been treated with an experimental US serum, ZMapp. The drug is also being used on two Americans, Dr Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol, in the US who were infected with the disease in Liberia.

Meanwhile, a consignment of ZMapp has arrived by plane in Liberia to treat two doctors suffering from the virus. It will be taken to the John F Kennedy Memorial hospital in the capital Monrovia and administered to doctors Zukunis Ireland and Abraham Borbor. It comes after Liberia’s presidency said the US has approved a request for sample doses of the drug to be sent to the country. Guinea is considering asking for access to the vaccine and has declared the outbreak a “health emergency.” Ebola has a fatality rate of up to 90%. A senior doctor in England, virologist Christopher Logue, is travelling to Guinea to help deal with the crisis by leading laboratory tests on people who may have come into contact with the virus.

This article appeared on the Before-its-News website (which I generally view with a grain of salt) but found it contained some quotes on the mock drills during the H1n1 scare of a few years ago, that might be implemented during an Ebola epidemic.

The Ebola Crisis Just Went From Bad to Worse
_http://beforeitsnews.com/healthcare/2014/08/the-ebola-crisis-just-went-from-bad-to-worse-2457784.html

Wednesday August 13, 2014

Under the category of “I told you so”, a political contact, Jatto Abdulqudir, of who I dubbed Patient Zero, Patrick Sawyer, has died. I had previously expressed the fear that Sawyer’s boarding of two airplanes with multiple connecting flights raised the likelihood that hundreds of thousands would be exposed on the same day to the Ebola virus (www.twtitter.com/hniman).

This one fact represents an emerging picture which serves to demonstrate that the Ebola containment efforts are failing miserably and we are in the beginning of an emerging pandemic. Further, this article will make it clear that health officials ranging from the World Health Organization to the CDC are negligent in their duty to protect the public in the midst of this Ebola outbreak.

America’s Future Amidst An Ebola Outbreak

Some will say that the seven West Africa nations are made up of third world countries and subsequently, their quarantine and containment procedures are primitive and this accounts for the high Ebola transmission rate to medical personnel. However, among the infected health care workers are two Americans doctors whose knowledge is not primitive and they should have been well trained on proper quarantine and containment procedures. The high infection ratio of dead patients to dead medical personnel is alarming beyond words and nobody is talking about this in the mainstream media.

The high rates of medical personnel contracting Ebola has sent a shockwave of panic through West Africa as several ofSierra Leone’s frightened nurses have walked off the job and the medical units fighting Ebola have been profoundly crippled.

In applying the lens of common sense, we should be asking “When a healthcare worker who gets sick and dies, won’t that lead to even more fear on the part of other healthcare workers and their survival instincts takeover and walk off the job? Why would America be any different when an Ebola outbreak occurs in this country”?

Medical Ethics In the Treatment of Ebola Are Nonexistent

The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that it is perfectly “ethical” for unapproved and largely untested vaccines to be used in the treatment of Ebola. If WHO is correct, then why are U.S. taxpayers paying out billions of dollars to support the FDA and the CDC and their “safety” testing procedures?

Recently, I wrote an article which stated that it was becoming my professional opinion that we had more to fear from the new generation of hastily prepared vaccines than we did from the Ebola itself. That fear is becoming realized with the recent WHO announcement that essentially is telling the public that all safety protocols are now being ignored with regard to the release of these voodoo vaccines brought to you be Monsanto (Texmira) and GSK.

If we lift the covers up and take a peek, it will become evident that the real goal in this crisis is to maximize profits realized from vaccines and if the new WHO vaccine policies are willing to put lives at risk in Africa with the use of untested vaccines, then why should America be any different when it is our turn? The public should also be mindful that there is a financial incentive to make the vaccines mandatory in the near future.

History Speaks Will America Listen?

During the H1n1 scare of a few years ago, we know that law enforcement officials in several states practiced a DUI roadblock kind of scenario in several states in which they were equipped with mock vaccine testing equipment to tell whether someone, or not, had been given the new vaccine against the virus. The roadblock consisted a large van for processing, a couple of buses and chase cars on the flanks to run down people who tried to avoid the checkpoint. According to my well-placed sources in Colorado, this was rehearsed over and over. These law enforcement officers were told that their families would be collected by DHS and protected in isolation against the spread of the pathogen and any resulting rioting. A highly decorated State Trooper from Kansas, Greg Evensen (Ret.), stated on my show that these families would be not held for safekeeping, they were to be held hostage to force the law enforcement officials to do the bidding of the powers that be.

The bidding that Greg Evensen was speaking of was the fact that if you did not demonstrate that you had the vaccine, you would be given two choices, immediate injection with the vaccine or your car would be impounded and you would be sent to a medical FEMA camp by one of the busses present at the scene.

At one point during the H1N1 scare, I thought the public’s reaction to forced vaccinations, which began in many hospitals, forced the government to abandon its plans to launch the program. In the present time, I think that this was a beta test designed to put the mechanisms into place and to condition the public that this will someday happen.

I recently contacted two of my sources in law enforcement, who beta tested the H1N1 vaccine roadblocks, to ask them if they had done any drills with regard to the outbreak of Ebola. I was told that they had not. However, one source stated that a recent DHS memo reminded the officials that they were to remain current on their containment and interdiction procedures with regard to any virulent outbreaks and the need to subsequently vaccinate the public in order to prevent the further spread of a pathogen.

The sum total of what we are looking is this. The short-term goal according to my DEA source is to make money off of the vaccine. The emerging long-term goal appears to be the lockdown (i.e. martial law) the country by using fear and the natural course of Ebola spreading.

Ebola Vaccine to Be Manufactured by Criminal Drug Company with Felony Record; Rushed to Market with Near-Zero Safety Testing
_http://www.globalresearch.ca/ebola-vaccine-to-be-manufactured-by-criminal-drug-company-with-felony-record-rushed-to-market-with-near-zero-safety-testing/5395830

Wednesday August 13, 2014

While the world of conventional medicine lines up to profit from the Ebola panic, there is no mention anywhere in the mainstream media of the criminal corporation behind the Ebola vaccine.

GlaxoSmithKline, now being celebrated by the pro-pharma press, is the same company that also has a proven criminal record of bribing physicians and knowingly distributing misleading information about the safety of their drug products.

Just two years ago, GSK plead guilty to felony crimes in the United States and was forced to pay an historical $3 billion fine for committing those crimes. After paying the fine, GSK was then exempted from normal rules regarding criminal enterprise, allowing it to continue conducting business with the federal government.

“Global health care giant GlaxoSmithKline LLC (GSK) agreed to plead guilty and to pay $3 billion to resolve its criminal and civil liability arising from the company’s unlawful promotion of certain prescription drugs, its failure to report certain safety data, and its civil liability for alleged false price reporting practices, the Justice Department announced today,” says a U.S. Department of Justice press release.

It goes on to explain, “GSK agreed to plead guilty to a three-count criminal information, including two counts of introducing misbranded drugs, Paxil and Wellbutrin, into interstate commerce and one count of failing to report safety data about the drug Avandia to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).”

As Natural News reported in 2012:

A roughly nine-year federal investigation has exposed GSK’s rampant abuse of the law by illegally marketing drugs, forging drug safety data, bribing doctors to promote dangerous and expensive drugs, ripping off Medicare and Medicaid, and lying about the effectiveness and safety of drugs. And all this deception has generated tens of billions of dollars in profits for GSK over the years, while thousands of patients who used the drug products involved have suffered horrific side effects and even death.

Criminal drug company to spearhead Ebola vaccine with U.S. scientists

Now this same company that admitted committing multiple felony crimes is going to lead the development of the Ebola vaccine.

As CNBC reports: (1)

“A clinical trial of an experimental vaccine against the deadly Ebola virus is set to start shortly, according to British drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline, which is co-developing the product with U.S. scientists.”

Vaccine to be “rushed through” with very little safety testing

We also know that the vaccine will not be tested for anything other than short-term side effects. This is all part of the “rush to market” for Big Pharma to profit from Ebola as quickly as possible.

As CNBC says:

A company spokeswoman said on Sunday that the trial should get underway “later this year”, while GSK’s partner the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) said in a statement on its website it would start “as early as fall 2014″, implying a potential September launch of testing.

A headline in the Daily Mail declares “World Health Organisation says vaccine could be ‘rushed through’ for 2015.” (2)

That same story goes on to report, “the WHO said a potential vaccine for the Ebola virus is being tested on humans and could be ready for widespread use by early 2015.”

Doing the math here, if the Ebola vaccine clinical trials start in September of 2014 and the vaccine is manufactured and distributed to the public by “early 2015,” this leaves virtually zero time for observing vaccine side effects.

Manufacturing the vaccine in large quantities, after all, takes many months. If this vaccine is to be available to the public in early 2015, they will have to start manufacturing it as early as October 2014, roughly just one month after the vaccine trials begin.

Zero liability; total immunity for faulty products

Keep in mind that in the United States, vaccine manufacturers have zero liability for the damage and death caused by their products. Due to a literal Act of Congress, all vaccine manufacturers are able to abandon all safety testing and knowingly sell faulty, deadly products with zero risk of liability.

This was all set up by design to make sure vaccine manufacturers could enjoy record profits while having zero liability for producing faulty products that harm children and adults. This is the reason why mercury is still used in flu vaccines which are injected into children — a fact which I have scientifically proven in the Natural News Forensic Food Labs using ICP-MS instrumentation.

This total immunity means there is no incentive for adequate safety testing of an Ebola vaccine. The company has the same liability (zero) whether they test the vaccine or not. Their goal is to SELL the vaccine, not to make sure it’s safe and effective.
Time spent on conducting rigorous clinical trials with long-term observations simply isn’t part of the “Sell! Sell! Sell!” business plan of today’s vaccine manufacturers. Their current business slogan? “Every pandemic is an opportunity for profit.” And with blanket immunity from all product liability, who needs safety testing?

Apology accepted, though it wasn't really necessary. I think we're all a bit high-strung these days if we're researching real events at all. I was more or less venting in a place that I thought was full of people who could relate.

Yes, I could have explained a bit more, but think about it. If my intent was merely to vent and to share, I really didn't expect a response geared toward "fixing" me. ;) I understand you were trying to help, however, and I can't fault you for that. I was a counselor in my profession, and I've learned that a good rule of thumb is to not offer advice unless it was expressly asked for. The reason is because it can be seen as an insult to some, or even as controlling to others. (Again, I know you were only trying to help.)

Interesting thought, but in my case, I don't think so. I'm a rabid researcher, and have been known to spend hours upon hours reading the most vile, negative stuff on the internet that you can imagine just so I can begin attempting to sift out the truth from the lies. Sometimes it interrupts my sleep, as well, so breaks are necessary for my mental health.

Regarding the phrase, "We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming"] ....

I am sorry, I didn't understand what was meant by this... I thought you were referring to me specifically. I am only twenty years old, so I actually haven't come across that phrase before

This was something we heard fairly often on TV in the 60s and 70s when there was a "test" from the Emergency Broadcast System. This phrase has since been occasionally adopted by comedians as a way to admit they were sidetracking.

It's a good lesson to learn, actually. :P Not everyone needs or wants a mirror at all times, but it is possible to point out possibilities to people without seeming to accuse. Verbal qualifications are very helpful on forums like this, such as, "I'm not saying you're doing this, but...." or "This is only a thought that just occurred to me (not an accusation), but...." This helps take the bite out of being a mirror for someone who's having a thoroughly crappy day.
