Empty and void messages

Thus the database and the software communicate better, they are far happier and me too since I don't have to fix empty messages anymore! :D

But, Belibaste, now you must find another way to be of service that is as annoying as fixing empty messages was! ;)

Lol. I guess, lesson learned and now it's time for learning something new. ;D

Well, from what I gathered something new and annoying is on the way :/

Hi Belibaste,

I don't think you can consider yourself dismissed from your tedious task without receiving a profound 'Thank You' for all services rendered.
It may have been annoying to do but it certainly was a pleasure to receive the missing info asap. Even small contributions don't go unnoticed nor unappreciated

This one is not utterly empty, but sure looks like something essential is missing:

If you edit the post, you'll see that there is a link to an image on another server. The image seems to have gone bye-bye.

:(

Found another image and fixed the post. :)

Well, apparently there is no fail-safe yet. Got an empty post here: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,67.msg51097.html#msg51097

While rereading the Odyssey thread I found two empty posts which either could have gone missing or may have been deleted, as they both display an edit marking from the original poster (Roland JP) at a much later date than what the initial postings carried. Here they are:

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,23803.msg286474.html#msg286474

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,23803.msg286475.html#msg286475

I hope it's still possible to retrieve them.

It looks like Roland deleted the text within his two posts and replaced them with a period. It doesn't appears to be an error or an "empty" post during the transfer from the old forum. fwiw.

Sorry to be a little late with my response, Zadius Sky, thank you for explaining.
Indeed it seems the most likely explanation and I take it to mean that the originally posted input cannot be retrieved without Roland JP cooperating. Most unfortunate.

Found a post with missing text here:

http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,2413.msg14891.html#msg14891

Added later:
In fact, several other posts in this topic have missing elements too as they stop in mid sentence or even mid word sometimes.
