Well me and my wife watched this one last night. And I must say that it is as terrifying as it is true for the reality we are living in right now. A must watch.
It tells the story of Hitler teletransporting to the future just before dying in the bunker and as you can imagine and like watching a rerun of Friends, even when you know what is going to happen, you just can't keep from watching in amazement. But actually is a rather grim, really grim, portrayal of western society. How even after knowing what happened with this guy last time, some people - and the film suggest that some of them were NOT actors - just kept cheering at the guy! No memory whatsover.
It describes and suggests that all it takes to bring together the racist, fascist, and authoritarian followers under the same banner is a charismatic spellbinder (yep, it reminded me of The Donald, a lot), someone that would say all the right things, all those things that ring true, all those black and white, simplistic ideas in a very serious matter-of-factly manner and boom! is 1933 Germany again.
The Hitler actor could actually have been channeling the real deal as I felt the attraction of the psychopath and the reaction of the meek crowds, modern crowds
It ends really well, and if you read the Holocaust 2.0 series you will know what I mean. It tells me that people are catching up on the smell of fascism looming over Europe and America and elsewhere.
