First ever Sott.net Talk Radio Show Sunday Jan 20th 2013!

Excellent show, and excellent way of handling the last-minute guest. Too bad he wasn't listening to the entire show in order to get the entire context, but I highly doubt that would have mattered at all to him. Thank you so much for you effort you two. Nice to hear Lisa's input as well!

As I was listening I notice that it took on a bit of a podcast quality, as I didn't want to call and interrupt the flow/timing of it all. I guess that's a hurdle I'll have to get over in the next shows, if we are so lucky as to have them. Thank you again!

A truly excellent, well-reasoned, compelling and informative discussion. I'm sorry the show ended so abruptly. Looks like they got a 'debunker' type there calling in at the very end. Who waits till a show has 2 minutes left to call in and try to debunk? From my past experience doing talk radio, I have found that these 'debunk' type calls so late into a program typically are so that the debunker gets the last word in, and thus, what the caller has to say leaves no time for the hosts to respond. So, the caller gets the last word and this is what is meant to 'stick' in the mind of the listeners. I'm glad Joe and Niall got their comments in before the show ended. Well done, Joe and Niall.

Connection was fine until 1h 24 into the talk - the last half hour I was not able to receive. Have others experienced the same?

It was fine until seconds ago. Just when there was a discussion with Brad's call.

The last caller could really benefit from reading this article:

Well that was interesting! I find that Joe and Niall did a great job explaining the event from a broader context. Thank you guys!

Congratulations you guys! Really awesome stuff!

Interesting timing for that one last caller.. Felt as though he waited for the right moment to leave the exact impression... He simply called to say things completely opposed to what you had spent 2 hours explaining.. Curious fact, maybe there are more listeners tuned in ready to do damage control?

Anyway, it was very good discussion, I really enjoyed it! Congrats you guys, looking forward to next Sunday!

It was fine, although sometimes Joe and Kniall's voice was fading for a second , like when your cell phone has temporally bad reception.

Yes, the timing was interesting. I bet Brad is very good on ebay. :)

fantastic show guys. Can't wait till the next one.

It is really a pleasure to hear the voices of both of you. It is an experience of intimacy with the forum. I like that. Congratulations. There is a lot of work behind a radio program, you should sleep very well tonight. :)

Lol! Exactly!! ;)

That was really great! Thanks so much Joe and Kniall! Despite being familiar with the material, there were still a few "aha moments" for me. Looking forward to the next one for sure.

Maybe this could be countered by saving the last 5 minutes of every broadcast for a brief recap and no calls would be taken?

Reception was good but a little too much bass in the mix at times obscured Joe and Kniall's voices, whereas the callers' were crystal clear.

Good job guys.
