Science ceases to be science, once politics gets involved. When the science of telling half-truths (and no-truths) otherwise known as politics, hijacks scientists to do their bidding, it can't justifiably be called "science."

There is no "good science" "bad science" or "pretty-good science" there is only "science." Once the integrity of it has been compromised, its no longer science at all. A half-truth is as bad as a lie, therefore using science selectively, or reinterpreting it's results is nothing more than attempted deception.
