I'm not entirely sure why this article was posted in Science of the Spirit, since it seems to be satire. Maybe it was read a bit too fast before posting? Or is there an actual scientific paper for this and it's just humorously reported?

Thanks for pointing out HowTobe and it seems to be indeed a mistake. And my first impression was the same when reading the title. I think the article is based on this pilot study: "Being right or being happy: pilot study" and the LA times formed out of it its conclusions: _http://www.bmj.com/content/347/bmj.f7398 But it is also interesting that the LA updated that article later on and was meant to be a science article from the beginning and later with the note that it is satire.

Interesting indeed. Maybe it was intended to create controversy to draw in readers? I don't know.
