We are planning on keeping the tri-color. Her name is Nokomis.

Nokomis is a native indian character:

wikipedia said:
Nokomis is the name of Nanabozho's grandmother in the Ojibwe traditional stories and was the name of Hiawatha's grandmother in Longfellow's poem, The Song of Hiawatha, which is a re-telling of the Nanabozho stories. Nokomis is an important character in the poem, mentioned in the familiar lines

By the shores of Gitche Gumee,
By the shining Big-Sea-Water,
Stood the wigwam of Nokomis,
Daughter of the Moon, Nokomis.
Dark behind it rose the forest.

Awww! As you all can tell, they're all teething :P

They're all very smart, but Noko is the ring leader of their mischief! She's always the first to escape - then the others follow!

At 1:06 you see the only boy, who is on the right, chewing a pocket (he has the white stripe up along his face). He's such a sweet heart!!!

The little boy is my favorite. His name is Red Baron. If I don't find exactly the right person for him, I'll keep him.

I do the same, AND the other way: what do my dogs think of so-and-so? There was a group member who came to stay with us for awhile about whom I had some serious misgivings. But, I was willing to give the guy a fair chance to prove himself. It took a little bit for the dogs to get used to him, and as far as I could see, that part was okay. The only thing was, there was a lot of chaotic energy going on amongst the dogs themselves. It was the bizarrest thing I've ever seen. They didn't hate this guy, but they had all kinds of jealousies, upsets, going on in their own ranks. The guy always made a big show of how patient he was with them... they would jump on him (and I don't allow them to jump on me or other people) and shake his head and grin like "what can you do, they are so cute..." Then, he started smacking them. I explained (in a somewhat steely voice, I'm sure) that you can train a dog with your voice, you don't need to whack them. Then, he was seen by a couple people in the house kicking one of them when he thought no one was around. That - added to a number of other observations - was the end of his stay.

Lol, I thought that you might use dogs to test your visitors. In fact I noticed the dramatic silence when you let Sebastian in the evening I arrived. And then some sort of collective relief.

Well I am glad I passed :P . I thought your dogs ( especially Shelties) are excellent guards, totally reserved
except Aladdin - who wanted to be near me whenever I was outside. In fact we he is the only one I bonded with,
Well Sebastian as well but in different way. He was my second favorite, and he started opening up towards the end of my visit - but then the injection happened :(

Elvis is a major show off and natural herder, totally dominant. Yazzie can easily be bribed with ball. But with Shelties nobody stands a chance of entering or exiting your property unnoticed.

Its amazing how many people think that they can control the dogs by shouting and physical punishment while in fact its all in your state of mind.
As Cesar says - 'Calm asscertive' is the key.

I have never struck another person in anger in my life, but if someone kicked my dog (or cat, goats, etc.) I think I would.
few days ago my dog was attacked by a pair of huge dogs of mollosian type that owner unleashed on the beach, I shielded him with my body and everything went well but I was ready to kick them if they were coming closer, something which I would never normally do.
I think being responsible for dogs awakens parental feelings whether we like to admit it or not.

I think you will end up with a quite a pack :) Think of future litters, and surely more puppies difficult to part with.
But you do have plenty of space so I don't see any harm in it.

I'm sure that the rest of them will find a loving home/s.

We are very picky about who we sell them to. The going price for these pups is 900 Euros apiece, but we will adjust that for the right person. I won't sell them to breeders.

That's great. Every animal deserves loving home and understending caregiver .

Unfortunetly thats not always the case. I work in a camping during my vacation. My neighbours have a dog with them. Poor animal is tied down for a whole day and night. They take him on a 20 min walk in the evening. It's heartbreaking . It's like this living breathing being is a toy for them. A toy that can be forgotten or ignored wheneve it's convenient for those people.

Yeah, I think that most people would agree that the Baron is the cutest. It really melts your heart just to see his little face! I hope we do have to keep him. Loco Noko is my baby though. :D She is smart and brave, but unfortunately, she doesn't like to be held as much as I want to hold her!

Heck, it melts my heart, and lifts it up, to see ALL of their cute little faces. :D

You all are building quite the pack of hounds. How totally cool.
