I guess his family and the secret families might be totally against what he's doing, but if they go to extreme measures to shut him up, they may be aware that one of the consequences of that could be to legitimise what he's saying or make the broader public more aware of what he reports.
 
I forgot to mention what Homm says in the first summarized video/post on this thread:

Those people in the public eye including seemingly high level business and financial leaders and politicians are just employees that can be fired at any point and quote, “have to do what we tell them“.

And I‘m pretty sure that some if not many of those leaders don’t have to actually know who really pulls their strings. They could also just semi consciously feel the pressures people in the background create indirectly with their powers and influences (dynasties/clans/families/organizations etc). In fact that might be more likely in most cases.
