I have some questions for the Cassiopaean group?

Hello Laura, thank you kindly for replying.

“There is good and there is evil, certainly, but there is the specific situation that determines which is which.

What determines which is which and how does a person know what is good and what is evil?

“You can only learn how to understand the situation by developing consciousness and conscience. This takes time and work because, as you are, you are a sleeping machine.”

How do we develop consciousness? Are we born with consciousness already or do we need to develop it? Also what is a conscience for you Laura and how do we develop that as well?

I've also been wondering about the spirit boards people use to channel information from, how can a person really know for sure if what they are receiving is accurate information? It seems like so many people out there are receiving so much different information on things, how can we really know for sure what is the truth?

Thanks

A person would need knowledge (of the situation and of yourself), to decipher which is which.

This is what the C's are saying: "Knowledge protects and ignorance endangers". :)

Also here plays knowledge a big role and work on oneself to develop this being. What Laura and the rest of the team are doing is an experiment, with 10% of inspiration (what the C's are saying) and 90% of hard work (reading and weeding= research) and formulating questions for the C's which cannot be answered.

Also when this response is itself from the C's, nonetheless this is what Laura et al. is doing:

Laura said:
A: 10 percent inspiration and 90 percent hard work.

Anyway, here is a video you can watch if you like to get a better understanding. And as said in some other posts, many of your questions are covered in the wave series in detail.

Knowledge and being

It seems you want to be lead by the hand :), now What work have you done by yourself?, How much material have you studied? Have you drawn some conclusions already?

The answers to the questions you are making do really need self effort and work as Laura says, and so, if we were to answer your questions directly, How would you discern the truth from the lies? Would you simply believe us?

Welcome to this research forum, Questions! :D I've found this site to be very useful in helping me improve my life and I hope you find the answers you are looking for too. :) FWIW I spent several months on here reading before making an account, and even another couple months after that before I began writing posts. I just thought there was so much information to absorb on here already that was related to the many questions I had, and I also wanted to finish Laura's first Wave book too before I felt it was appropriate for me to be able to add anything to this site.

When I read your questions I wondered why you asked the same question twice.

Hello, I'm a newbie to this forum.

My basic questions are, how should a person live their life?

Are there any morals or standards involved?

Is there such a thing as a right or wrong way of living or should we be living however we want?

I would like to know what you recommend to people on how they should be living their lives?

Is there something coming in the near future and do people need to prepare for it?

If so how should people be preparing?

Thanks

It made me wonder if you even went back to re-read your comment before posting it. Then I read other members' replies to your post and began to wonder how much reading you've done on this site yet. This is a research forum, not just a blog spot, which is why IMO you were met with some constructive criticism. I've found the people I've encountered on this site to be very helpful, which is why I think you've gotten so many considerate replies. :)

Also, I agree with Gandalf that the Newbies section would be a good place to begin posting, if you do plan to continue contributing to this site: http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php?board=39.0

Wishing you all the best on your educational journey! :)

These questions, and much, much more, are covered in the Wave series you were directed to. By starting to really read this series from the beginning will help immensely in answering these questions. Go ahead, read the Wave series, it's enlightening and learning is fun! :)

I would like to suggest to read with an open mind. Many of us have a lot of sacred cows that we cling to with desperation and find it hard to let go of. This and our self importance makes it hard for us to see clearly what is being said. We become offended, we know that we are right and "they" are wrong.

I hope you take me up on this and began to really read the Wave series. There is a lot to learn there, and as I said, your questions will be answered, and much, much more.

It is so much more rewarding to actually find the answers to our questions ourselves. And it helps us to grow. :)

Now I'm not here to argue or debate about any of this material but was referred here by someone who actually believes in this stuff so I also would like to understand how and why.

Being "referred here" is not a good beginning. If you didn't come here as a result of your own searching, there is really little possibility that you are truly interested in the topics, mode and results. Your friend did you no favor by "referring" you, and you really should stick to what you are led to naturally, not what someone else picks for you.

It might not mean a thing, but it's curious to me that of late (after the formation of the cassiopaea-cult site) there have been requests of Laura to make specific statements about what is held to be true.

Possibly to accuse of indoctrination?

Interesting thought Jerry. Fwiw I also thought the same thing. But my thought was not only are they trying to get Laura to make specific statements, but also as if they are trying to make a consensus of how many people respond in what way to certain things.

Kind of fishy if you ask me :cool2:

He mentions he is going to 'write a report'. What is the purpose of this report, who is it going to be for and what is it's purpose?
Sounds even more than fishy if you ask me!

Could be that Questions is just the type to summarize and organize his/her thoughts in such a way as to clarify them. I know I like to write up "reports" of my own researches, I just don't call them that. Also, it would be pretty normal for someone not familiar with the work here, or Laura's writings, to want a bullet point list of definitive answers to certain questions, kind of a yardstick for measuring what we're all about. Again, for someone more familiar with the work here, they'd know that we deal with working hypotheses and follow a basic set principles more so than any set-in-stone rules. The FOTCM principles is an attempt to put into a fluid form (fluid because it's subject to change) the kind of principles we follow, i.e. our approach to truth, which is basically what it all comes down to. Most people just aren't aware of the concept of a "third force" and want yes or no answers. That's normal, but again, not our approach at all. There's right and wrong, and then the context in which that choice needs to be made. And to be able to practice that level of discernment, Work is necessary, i.e. as developed in the approach of Gurdjieff to self-development. All that said, I'm sure Questions can clarify.

I have a question for people who have long been on the forum. I feel frustrated because I think that late to overcome all. I have little time to explore everything you write. For many years, the things I think is almost the same about many things that are C confirmed. Now I'm losing, I see how the environment affected me. The confusion in my head. I do not sleep. Constantly exploring. My question is: Do we have enough time to understand, to learn and explore? Catches me a scare. They begin to happen to me strange things. At a time when I was at the forum, my computer suddenly goes crazy. Electric shock, without any rational explanation. When I started breathing exercises, I realized that my diaphragm is moved up, the cause of Bulimia nervosa. I had bulimia as a teenager. I am concerned the problem to breathe properly. Exercise helps me, but I feel very strange. I have strange dreams, it is difficult to remember them. I'm very tired. I become irritable. Nervous. At the same time full of energy, positive thoughts and feelings. Is this all normal? Maybe I just wake up from illusion. I do not like just a feeling of fear, which appears strongly. Can we sit back and believe that nature will help us?

P.S. I apologize for errors in writing. I do not write well in English.

yes I think your feelings have to do with the wake up.(many of us had the same feelings)
I would advise you to do it step by step and not all at once . It's maybe better for you.

Can we sit back and believe that nature will help us?

nice quote from Laura: "There is no free lunch in the universe. And If you think there is, you are lunch".

We all are different in what we think we know, things we need to learn, and individual dedication to self improvement. Methinks as long as one continues to Work on trying to learn what is "the truth", progress can be realized. Being stuck within these mechanical biomachines may hinder us all in discovering what is "the truth". But as long as we keep Working on ourselves, no matter how many times we "fall", Nature, the Universe, the Divine Cosmic Mind for lack of words, WILL help us. As long as we help ourselves that is. Nothing is free, and no guru will ascend to a higher existence meditating alone, with a closed mind in a strawberry field contemplating their navel.

This is why we practice ee, improving diet to the best of our ability and try to gain as much knowledge as we can. This is our way of being proactive against whatever is to come.

I would suggest to you that you initially try ee without the baha part and to remove gluten and dairy from your diet as soon as you're able to. The ee should help with sleeping. So will sleeping in a completely dark room. It's never too late to start. :)
