If one were to develop an "emotional school", what could/should it look like?

Thanks for the discussion, everyone. I think the role of the Eiriu Eolas program should be mentioned as well. Freedom from stress and past traumas must put a person in a much better position to develop the emotions, as I understand it.

I'm pretty much an intellectual person, and pretty weak in the emotional area; colder and less feeling than I'd like to be. I'm starting to see Eiriu Eolas as more and more important as I realize how locked up I am in my current state.

Whether being intellectual or emotional is your strong suit, I think the society we live in can't help but stunt the growth of the emotional center in one way or another. For Man 3, the intellectual, that center simply goes to sleep most of the time, whereas for Man 2, the emotional man, it becomes warped and filled with negative emotions.
