The link above is to a book by Dr. Floyd Chilton. He's written a few books concerning systemic inflammation of the body. (2) The science is good, but he's not well versed in menu planning. :) His book can be bought from amazon in hardback used for as little as 7 bucks prior to shipping.

He has a website at www.inflamationnation.com. The page on amazon also lists other books on inflammation. (Its hard for me to type big bunches, so I'm looking for sites that have 'jumping off points' for more research)

When I did the diet outlined in this book, it worked. I did feel much better. What makes it hard to do is the fact that I love chicken, eggs, and turkey, all of which are no-no's concerning inflammation. My hubby also makes the best whole grian bread I've ever eaten. As a result, I drift from being strict on this diet and having a few yummy lapses.

A good point regarding 'programming': People have been over encouraged to eat chicken, salmon, and turkey....and these foods are not good for everyone. I don't think its so much a conspiracy as its just lack of research, and scientist A not taking account of what scientist B is working on.

Below is a good herbal supplement co that will not bankrupt anyone:

I've found if its possible to eat the foods listed on any kind of supplement formula that is advertized on the net, it is often more cost effective than paying hundreds of dollars for a bottle of pills. :)

Wahoo...a research project!

Nuts. The link to Dr. Chilton's site no longer works. But I did find another site on inflammation for women here:

http://www.womentowomen.com/inflammation/index.asp?id=2&campaignno=inflammation&keywords=diet+free+inflammation+plan

I haven't dug into it yet, but it looks interesting.
