Hello everyone,

After reading the Thread "What Woke you up" http://cassiopaea.org/forum/index.php/topic,24558.0.html

I have decided it would be a great idea if we put together a list of video's, books and websites etc that would assist in awakening our fellow truth searching selves that are searching but havn't got a clue where to start.

Many of my friends ask me loads of questions but my anwers are a little full on i.e Lizzies, Greys, abductions, Illuminati. I was hoping as a group we could come up with a slow release of information "pack" or whatever you could call it like the way most of us have learnt over the years. I am just brain storming here and I think that by achieving this I may be able to help alot of those close to me in a way that I can not do by talking.

I realise that everyone learns differently and that its up to them to make the decision but this may be a great thing to just give to them and let them decide if they want to watch it. My friends have asked me to send them some reading material and videos and I just dont know where to begin. (since we all learn differently)

I found both of these to be great starters along with some really basic conspiracy movies such as

I am going to do a bit more research when I get home and list all my books and movies that got me started and would love for everyone to do the same. I dont really know where to start with this so I would really love to hear from any of you with ideas as to how this should be presented to our awakening brothers and sisters. I really want to start from the original basics.

I think the idea of having more coordinated introductory information is a pretty good one. The available bank of knowledge is certainly increasing by the day, and at a faster pace than ever before.

What about our own wikipedia styled site? It could be an openly-sourced encyclopedia of the knowledge we have gathered here, that anyone could sign up to help edit. This would be very much like the existing Wikipedia, except that there would be no need to allow anonymous editing, and much higher standards. Any given entry could have links directing the readers to relevant forum discussions, SOTT articles, videos, etc.

I have no idea how such a thing is created (technically speaking), but the thought just popped into my head so I thought I'd toss it out there.

cassiopedia is a great! I'm probably more looking for a "Hitch Hikers Guide to the galaxy" sort of thing with usefull links to videos, books and websites along with some brief information that will entice the reader/ viewer to look further into the topics presented to sort of Kick-start the awakening process.

Maybe a "cassiopedia for dummies" kind of thing... I have looked around but I realy want a heap of non-biased scientifically studied material that is gentle to the reader/ viewer to do nothing more than plant the seed. The rest they can do by themselves, hopefully find thier way to this site and others.

I am willing to put in the hours to put it all together but I will need assistance as I am not a great writer nore am I very wise in terms of the sequence I should present it in etc. I believe that my idea is frankly too big for me. :P

Either way if we get all these video's, websites and book names here I will put them together and hopefully be guided by everyone here as to how to present it.

Please dont be afraid to type your idea's here, I would love to see all the movies and books that got you all started that would be a great help. Or just put it in the "What Woke You Up" Thread and I will just grab it from there

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! When I wrote that, I was only thinking of the glossary.cassiopaea.com which is also very similar. Thinking over my original thought further, I realize that everything I was thinking about pretty much already exists here in all the various forms, especially SOTT and the forums. Talk about a "heap of non-biased scientifically studied material" - as well as lists of books and sites - there you go. :)

Have you seen the videos Know Thyself and UFOs, Aliens, and the Question of Contact ? And also Laura's videos at the official Cass Youtube channel? And of course the podcasts.

Just recapping some of what is already out there.

FWIW, and mind you this is just from my experience, there is no 'easy' way to learn what we need to know. Some peoples 'need' to know is different from others depending on what stage of understanding they are at. It is hard for us, I think, to see others suffering due to lack of knowledge but it has been my experience that this suffering is necessary to provide the shock factors needed to 'wake up'.

I have witnessed time and again people being oblivious to what I say about what I have learned and they go off on a tangent about trying to explain it away in a way they feel 'comfortable' with. As mush as my intentions were good, I feel that I was tresspassing on their free will to learn in their own 'time'. I am surrounded by a family that just doesn't 'get it' and have settled on working on my strategic enclosure and waiting to be asked for help and information instead of shoving it all in their faces. It is hard.

The forum has a great list of recommended readings as Anart said, and I think they are still all that is necessary for anyone to start waking up if that is what they choose. As much as I understand your desire to wake everyone up just remember that if they have not 'worked' for it, they may not appreciate it and even worse, may take it for granted. It may be better they don't know than to know bits and pieces that amount to misinformation and confusion which may have the opposite effect and drive them away from the truth.

I have found it a better use of energy to solidify the knowledge for myself before sharing because otherwise it made me sound like I was babbling when I couldn't quote facts, particular books/authors and what was written etc.

But the situation that I am attempting to tailor this pack for is basically only for those whom I know and sure you know others in the same situation where they might have limited computer skills, or access but still thouroghly* Spell Check doesn't work for me.* desire knowledge and have asked me to assist at which point I am only too happy to accomidate*

I personally have only Internet access whilst I am at work, or on my iPhone, so it ius hard for me to do this also. I thought if i had a list, or even downloaded all this information for them I could simply print it out at work and give it too them.

I belive this idea will help many, including myself. I completely realise everyone learns differently which is why I am asking for the broad range of information that has kick started the catalyst or chain of events that has brought us all here today.

I think I missed the mark in my post where my main point was that the books that are recommended by this forum are more than enough to get anyone started even without computer skills and internet. Heck, it took me 18 months to figure out how to enter my avatar but learning is supposed to be fun as well as work.

You say that your aim is to 'tailor' packs to suit individuals. Well something about that sounds to me like you would like to teach them your way when you yourself may not be clear on many things for yourself. Is that making sense?

Maybe if these individuals just picked up, say, a Wave book, they may surprise you at how they understand it in their own way and may find different things important ( to them) than you might. I do understand your passion to want to help but I think it is really important to keep 'external consideration' in mind and the motives for helping.

Stellar, kind of you to offer a re explanation I do understand that alot better. what i have highlighted in bold is definately not what I meant by any means, what I am hoping to achieve is a list of movies and books, a big list so that individuals can choose for themselves.

I did not say that my aim was to "tailor" packs to suit individuals and I realise I am getting a little defencive but please do not change my words around. If I have said it in another thread or something its far away from what I am getting at here. The only tailoring for this entire subject will be in the way the information is presented. Which I will be checking with everyone here thouroghly first as i am aware of the possible manipulation by myself and the risk it poses to the learner. This is also a learning experience for me as it will be the first time I have dedicated myself and time to produce something purely for the benefit of others.

I may start to re think this idea a little, I was brain storming. It isn't easy to come up with ways to help others, it also particularly difficult to see friends going down thier current path although that is there choice and journey when I am asked or eventually asked from others I want to be ready with a pack of information I can give them to talk to them about. At the moment the material is limited to my own picks... hense could be seen as MY WAY OF TEACHING which I do not agree with. I will continue to build up information and direct people to the SOTT website and others, but I would love to have this stuff on DVD and in hard copy prints.

Please do not take this post as an arguement I am stil considering whether or not to drop the idea, Its just that most of us have had years to do this. I'll see where this takes me and if it seems not viable I will drop the topic all together and I will try put my energy towards something more fuitfull.

Actually I was going by your words in this post. I can only go by the written words and not by what you 'meant' so I replied accordingly.

I was perceiving this communication as a discussion on your idea, not as an argumet. Is that how you perceived it?

You are ofcourse free to do as you will. It is good that you bring your brainstorming to the forum. It helps to get more than one perspective.

What fruits are you looking for, Brent? You can't make anyone wake up - that is either in a person to do or it is not in a person to do. In fact, trying to get someone to wake up usually results in the exact opposite and causes serious harm. The importance of Free Will in such things can't be over stated.

I said Situation and I said Pack implying one pack ....not individual pack's for each person or anything like that, and that situation being people, all people in your life and mine who have begun asking questions and dont know where to look. By tailor I say build/create by placing everyones Ideas into a "hat" then putting it all together, can you see what I was trying to achieve?

and yes, I did take that as you having a dig at me. I noticed I got slightly defencive, good ole ego sticking its two bob in again :P I apologise.

The information on this forum is designed to help those who have already awakened. At the same time, it is all out in the open for those 'sleeping' folk to read if they choose to. If you can think of a way of restating a certain concept that makes it easier for others to understand - without taking away from the accuracy or essence of the original concept - then this forum is the place to do so. I'm not sure if there is a great need at the moment to 'package' any of the existing concepts here when they've already been packaged elsewhere for the most part (like the recommended books list). One exception might be the advise in the health and diet section. What's been uncovered there deserves to be presented into a book format, imo, since no one diet book seems to cover everything completely.

But I wouldn't get too worked up about trying to wake up the people in your life who are asking questions. If they are sincerely asking, they will ultimately make their way to the material here. I can understand your feeling or urgency and wanting to achieve some critical mass of awareness of certain concepts, but I think one must be careful of the methods used in doing this. Without the allowance of free will, there is no stable foundation to build on, osit.
