Israel-Palestine War: Hamas Breaks Out of Gaza, Israel Responds With Genocide

Some Europe-originating billions are already in (French article dated 04 dec. 2024):

Over 800 European banks invest $393 billion in West Bank settlements

The recently published report shows that over the past three years, “822 European financial institutions (including banks, asset managers, insurance companies and pension funds) have maintained financial relationships with 58 companies actively involved in illegal Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT)”.

Among the 58 best-known companies named in the report are: Airbnb, Booking Holdings, Carlsberg, Carrefour, Caterpillar, Cisco Systems, Elbit Systems, Expedia Group, Heidelberg Materials, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Hyundai Heavy Industries, International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), Motorola Solutions, RE/MAX Holdings, The Coca-Cola Company, TKH Group, Tripadvisor and Volvo Group.

The 10 European financial institutions with the largest investments and loans in companies operating in the Occupied Palestinian Territories are: BNP Paribas, HSBC, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, Société Générale, Santander, Crédit Agricole, UniCredit, Standard Chartered and ING Group.

And so they made Europe fund all they had (in addition to Ukraine). I suppose the banks are empty. I don't really see Carlsberg and Carrefour as being a real match with anything such as "funding a remote conflict".

The foreign ministers of France, Germany, Italy, and Britain said on Saturday they supported an Arab-backed plan for the reconstruction of Gaza that would cost $53 billion and avoid displacing Palestinians from the enclave.

Seconding your post, I found a similar article on a French news website:

Gaza reconstruction: Arab countries' $53 billion plan
Arab leaders adopted on Tuesday [March 4, 2025] a plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip that sidelines Hamas. The plan is presented as an alternative to Donald Trump's plan to place the territory under American control and displace Gazans. According to the text, $53 billion will be invested in the enclave over five years.
They called for unifying the Palestinians under the umbrella of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), of which the Islamist movement Hamas is not a member. In Cairo, the leaders of the Arab League countries warned on Tuesday, March 4, against "odious" attempts to displace the population of Gaza.

Under their plan, the Gaza Strip would be administered during a transitional period by a committee of Palestinian technocrats, before the Palestinian Authority regains control.

If sincere, such idea was kind of brave:
The plan presented by Egypt has already been rejected by Israel, which has promised to eliminate Hamas but also rules out any future role for the Palestinian Authority.

I might be wrong but I read this announcement as Germany France and UK agreeing that the plan is a good one. It doesn't say they were going to contribute.
I may have misheard. It was somewhere during this Duran podcast. It’s only 14 minutes long. I might re-listen to it later, but I’m deep into some other stuff at the moment. However if you’d like to verify for yourself, here’s the video.

Daniella Weiss, a radical settler leader, has been nominated by Israelis for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.
As a leader of the settler movement and former mayor of the illegal settlement of Kedumim, she has actively worked to expand the occupation, deprive Palestinians of their land and legitimize settler violence. The international community considers Israeli settlements illegal under international law and the Geneva Conventions due to their construction in occupied territories.

Maybe the message is to assume that the West Bank is going to be annexed to Israel (?)
It's like a cynical joke from Israel to everyone, however in that order of ideas Daniela Weiss fits the description of Nobel Peace Prize winners, an institution run by globalists who reward each other and who are directed under the suggestions of the UN, some laureates to the Nobels fredspris : Henry Kissinger, Menachen Begin, Barack Obama, Al Gore, Juan Manuel Santos, Aung San Suu Kyi, The World Food Programme (WFP) ONU , Abiy Ahmed, among others... and why not, Donald Trump who nominates himself: “I deserve it, but I'll never get it. It's a shame.” (That would be interesting)

The Extreme Ambitions of West Bank Settlers

A leader of the settlement movement on expanding into Gaza, and her vision for the Jewish state.
For decades, Daniella Weiss has been one of the leaders of Israel’s settlement movement. Weiss became involved in settlement politics in the wake of the 1967 war. In the early seventies, her family moved to the settlements in the West Bank and she later served for a decade as mayor of Kedumim, a community in the north. She has also been arrested numerous times, including for assaulting a police officer and interfering with an investigation into the destruction of Palestinian property. More recently, she has been affiliated with the Nachala settlement organization, which helps younger settlers establish illegal outposts in the West Bank, an initiative that’s controversial even among the settler community. (Weiss is a neighbor and an ally of Bezalel Smotrich, the extremist minister of finance, who has said that the Palestinian people do not exist and that Palestinian communities need to be erased; he also lives in Kedumim.)

Israelis’ nomination of extremist settler leader for Nobel Peace Prize sparks online furor

In a letter to the Nobel Prize Committee, they reportedly claimed that “the establishment of Jewish communities has prevented violence and enhanced security” and that despite both Jewish and Palestinian deaths in Gaza, casualties were “significantly lower” in the West Bank due to Weiss’ work.

Weiss, director of the Nachala Settlement Movement, is a prominent supporter of Israeli annexation and illegal settlements in Palestinian territories.
Israel’s West Bank settlements have been deemed illegal by the UN and several countries. Weiss, director of the Nachala Settlement Movement, is a prominent supporter of Israeli annexation and illegal settlements in Palestinian territories.
In June 2024, Canada imposed sanctions against Weiss and six others “in response to the grave breach of international peace and security posed by their violent and destabilizing actions against Palestinian civilians and their property in the West Bank.”

The nomination has left online users baffled and outraged. One said: “For a moment, I thought this was a joke, but no, it’s not.”
Another said, “No one will want to be honoured with a Noble prize if this ever happens.”
The Nobel Peace Prize winners will be announced on Oct. 10 with the award ceremony scheduled for Dec. 10.

She'll be in good company with critters like Kissinger , (....) , Obama ...

The truce (if there ever was one) has been broken in Gaza.

Another front will be opened by the non-war President.

Iran has sent a letter to the UN security council warning that any act of aggression by the Americans will have severe and devastating consequences, for which the U.S. will bear full responsibility. Iran Observer

This is very discouraging. Israel resumed the genocide, with the green-light from the White House. 412 people killed, including 150 children and 500 wounded, all in one night. Again, refugee tents were bombed.

Meanwhile, Trump blames Iran for the actions of the Houthies, because they supposedly give them weapons, money and intelligence. As someone on X commented, following that logic, Trump should be directly blamed for Israel's last night massacre in Gaza.

The Houthies won't stop because Israel won't stop, so unless something changes, we are heading towards a direct confrontation with Iran. Trump is either sleep-walking or forced into it. It's infuriating to see Trump, Musk, Rubio, etc, lamenting the loss of life in Ukraine and urging for peace while cheerleading for Israel and heading for war in the Middle East, even against the best interest of the US. And the only reason I can think of for them to be such Zionist tools is that they (along with 95% of the US political class) are either bought for or blackmailed, Epstein style.

There are some reports on social media about the aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman having been hit by up to 18 Houthi missiles, and damaged enough to be towed to Egypt for repairs. That would be big news, but I don't think we should believe it just yet. Also, that an Iranian intelligence ship was sunk by the US, but same thing, no confirmation yet.

"It’s worth pointing out that a strike on the Iranian nuclear sites will almost certainly result in thousands of American deaths at bases throughout the Middle East, and cost the United States tens of billions of dollars. The cost of future acts of terrorIsm on American soil may be even higher."

"Those aren’t guesses. Those are the Pentagon’s own estimates. A bombing campaign against Iran will set off a war, and it will be America’s war. Don’t let the propagandists lie to you."

Welcome to The Times of Israel’s Daily Briefing, your 20-minute audio update on what’s happening in Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish world.

Diplomatic reporter Lazar Berman joins host Amanda Borschel-Dan for today’s Daily Briefing.

The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas collapsed early this morning after roughly two months, as the Israel Defense Forces launched dozens of strikes throughout Gaza and issued evacuation orders for parts of the Strip. We work through what brought Israel to the renewal of more intensive fighting.

NEW | Israel’s Defense Minister Katz:

"Residents of Gaza, this is your final warning. The first Sinwar destroyed Gaza, and the second Sinwar will bring upon it total ruin. The Israeli Air Force's attack against Hamas terrorists was only the first step. What follows will be far harsher, and you will bear the full cost.
Evacuation of the population from combat zones will soon resume. If all Israeli hostages are not released and Hamas is not kicked out of Gaza, Israel will act with force you have not known before.
Take the advice of the U.S. President: return the hostages and kick out Hamas, and new options will open up for you—including relocation to other parts of the world for those who choose. The alternative is destruction and total devastation."

too much monoatomic gold?!

Take the advice of the U.S. President
