It seems Israel has ramped up its PR efforts and changed tack, which I expected they'd do for a while. Nobody buys the AIPAC crap anymore. So now they are targeting right-wingers, and use the true Israel-believers on the right to spread a new message: yes, Israel is an ethnostate, which is what you want too, right? So let's admire Israel for being "based", hardcore, and right-wing. Ethno-Nationalists of all races and creeds unite behind the star of David!
This is certainly the right move for them in the current climate, but the problem is that those most attracted to the right-wing, "based" world-view are already so thouroughly anti-Israel (and often anti-Jewish) that all that they can hope for at this point is to capitalize on the sense of "not my business, I'm neither for Israel or the Palestinians", which doesn't really help them either (they need support, not indifference from the US). Also, those suddenly discovering how "based" Israel is are the usual Israel shills who just a minute ago fought the idea of "ethnostates" and other right-wing ideas tooth and nail, preaching a colorblind society and so on, so they already lost all credibility in right-wing circles.
But nice try, Hasbara.
Here's a prime example, but I saw many more along similar lines (some I couldn't find right now, perhaps some people deleted them in the meantime)
