Joining the private FOTCM Board

I think Nienna meant "you" as in a general "you".
Yep, that's how I meant it. You as in you all. I guess I could have written it like that, but once again, I thought it would be apparent.

Reinstated or not for access doesn't really matter right now, I just wanted to know why.
For lack of participation. Just as we do with all who have not participated for a year.

Each person has their own path.
This is very true.

I for one feel addressed as well by what Nienna wrote and find it a good reminder regarding the way how we participate as FOTCM members (added to the private board or not). And I think it's a good idea to reread the FOTCM principles from time to time as a refresher.

Many other people may feel addressed too, so it's nothing personal. ;-)

How long has that been the view? Why wait all these years to say so? Or is that regarding this past year of technical issues?
Stellar, could you tell us what makes you so focused on your access to the private board when the same time you haven't actually showed much interest in, and inclination to be an active, helpful member on its public part for many months?

As I've already stated, personal and sensitive issues which I don't want to share on the public forum. Secondly, I am not 'so focused' on the access as you call it, just didn't realise that something which was largely out of my control would result in no longer being a member. It has, however, led me to be more hesitant and less trusting of the whole 'membership' thing.
Regardless, if I have something meaningful to write, I will, but a nodding head in the background, I am not.

That's where I would disagree with you. it was in your control - computer issues or not. I'll reiterate what I said on your disappearing posts thread you seem to be blaming the network for your lack of action in finding a way to connect with us here and taking responsibility for why you were removed in the first place. You may want to reread that thread from the beginning with fresh eyes.

@stellar

I can't really imagine a member who has access to the private board having computer issues and deciding that they would allow that to prevent them from making contact with the group for a year. It would be the equivalent of losing one's cell phone and not contacting one's friends and family for a year.

Friends and family, stellar. That's what the members of the private group are to each other.

At no point did I blame anyone for anything. Not sure why you think it seems that way.

With little computer knowledge and funds at the time it was not in my control. Your understanding of my posts does not change that fact.

Did you miss the fact that my only contact with the forum is online. The site was constantly blocked as unsafe. My emails were inaccessible for a long time. Even using the local library computers had the same results.
I neither decided nor allowed any of this to happen. I simply didn't know what more I could do.

Not even a close comparison. My family would also make an effort to contact me and ask if anything is wrong. However being one of thousands in the forum, that would never happen and expectedly so.
If you only speak to someone of those thousands on line, you're not going to go out of your way to look for them if they stop writing, are you?

That's what the members of the private group are to each other.
Maybe the inner circles or those with personal contact, otherwise I don't think so, T.C.; sorry, that's been my experience.

Life is religion. Life experiences reflect one's interactions with 'God'.
