Kate & Will - Wedding coverage

Unable to avoid the William and Kate wedding coverage, I tripped across this little detail. I believe the princess in question is one of Fergie's daughters. I had not known there is an extant cult dedicated to Cthulhu eschatology.

You know, I saw a bit of coverage while I was feeding the cats this morning, and when the camera panned the family seated in church, I saw a glimpse of her hat and thought, WTH?? :scared:

What impressed me (of the little coverage I saw) was how orderly the thousands of people proceeded into the courtyard of Buckingham Palace to wait for Wills and Kate to kiss on the balcony. One of the newscasters remarked that if that was America, people would be pushing and shoving to get to the front of the line and probably end up brawling.

Blimey! Almost a dozen facebook pages spring's up within minutes of the wedding, dedicated to discussing someone's hat?

There really is a distracting website for everyone's taste!

Don't know about Cthulhu, it looks more like a pretzel to me. ;D

Re: Wedding coverage

What really turned me off was all the hats being worn on the forehead instead of on the head as they should be. How dumb can you get?

What struck me about the masses of orderly crowds was what a waste it all is. If only that many people would wake up and realise that psychopaths control our world, and would storm the offices of power and take back control, what a wonderful world we'd all be living in. If only that many people could get together and care about something actually worth caring about, and overwhelm the minority of those in power. There are a lot more of us than them, however people can still be made to feel isolated and powerless, but when you see scenes of massive crowds on television you realise that in physical terms, that's not the case. However in mental terms, it is the case because the masses have been brainwashed so thoroughly, they behave like sheep so well and do exactly as they're told. The major battle is getting enough people to wake up and see that psychopaths are in charge.

Yea! I thought the exact same thing when I saw it the first time. :O

That hat gets my vote for ugliest hat of all time

What wedding? ;)

Same here! Have not had a tv for 3 years now , and ive been working today. Being English some Danes have asked me if id not got an invitation to this wedding.

Re: Wedding coverage

What I found curious was that it was mostly girls watching the ceremony in places I passed while going to work. Some of then seemed to want to be in the shoes of the princess. A girl who willingly abdicated of her right of crying in public, among other things.

The only explanation for the frontal wearing headgear I can come up with at the moment is that it must take a lot of brain effort for a member of the ruling gentry to put one foot in front of the other. This tends to generate a lot of heat in the synapses and neuron areas, so the top of the head is left clear to facilitate escape of the rising steam.

Notice that many of the male gentry's hair are rather thin on top. My hypothesis is that it's due to too much dell walking whilst surveying their estates.

Though I admit I could be wrong.

That's not really surprising imo, considering the years of 'programming' girls go through wanting to be princesses. From Disney princess movies, to movies about royalty. 'The knight in shining armor' program could be very strong for a lot of girls. And of course girls are also pretty programed about weddings in general. Most girls play 'bride' as little girls, putting pillow cases on their heads pretending to have a wedding veil.

Also I wouldn't count out a lot of people's attraction to royalty/monarchy, etc.. coming from past life memories.

Very true. More ironic than curious in reality.
